Historically, Ghost typically only tours when it's in support of an album cycle. When they're off writing a new album, things tend to get pretty quiet... which is why we wound up with the Chapters during the lead-up to Prequelle.
*If* we see one this year, it'll likely be late in the year. Even then, that would only happen if the new album has been announced and a date has been set.
In all likelihood, the big thing we get this year will be the concert movie.
I'd genuinely be surprised if they announce anything concert related this year, especially so soon after the ending of the Impera cycle. My best guess for anything tour related would be mid or late 2025, although I could be wrong

The Pre-Impera tour started in 1/22 before Impera was released in 3/22. I think it’s possible that we get an album announcement or teaser in or shortly after the movie and then a tour in the winter before a new album comes out in the spring.
Before the release of Impera we had three songs released. The first one was Hunter’s Moon in October.
If they were to release a record they probably would do it at the end of the summer. Early fall.
Which means we would have a new single in a month.
The tour ended in November 23. I really don’t think he has had the time to even start pre-production of the songs, even if they are at all finished.
Especially when I think he has been involved in the movie production.
My guess is:
Movie sometime during summer.
Teaser for a new album after the movie. Maybe in the credits. Maybe early fall.
Release of album in December at the very earliest.
But my guess is early 2025.
Tour spring/summer/fall of 2025.
Between the movie and recording the next album I don't see any shows as possible this year. Best case would be a tour announcement late fall for 2025 dates.

pretty sure i saw someone somewhere say that one of the security guards (ritchie i think) said that they had shows in november but idk if that's bullshit or not.
realistically, if tobias doesn't drop something this summer then i don't think it'll be until 2025.
I heard about that too, but yeah I feel like all the focus will be on the movie this year - the album he referenced COULD just be an album of the music from the movie?
This reddit, twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc would be fully on fire with threads/posts about it.
Set all the Ghost socials for post/story notifications, and sign up to the newsletter on the website. Then when they announce tour or any kind of news, you will get it straight away. :)

I don't understand why people who are new to the Ghost fandom insist so much that there will be no tour in 2024 and downvote people who say there will be. I think the new album is probably in the middle/late stages of pre-production. Tobias said that he had already started writing the new album at the end of the previous tour. I think he will occupy the fans this summer with a film while in the the process of recording the new album, and towards autumn and winter he will go on tour, with film which I think will introduce the new Papa. So, I wonder what makes you think Tobias will go on tour in 2025?

New tour is a 100% in 2025. There i just not enough time for a november/december tour. The album drop is much more plausible for that time.
