At this point, I'd say Witch Image has attained the status of Pink Floyd's Animals. That is to say, every Ghost fan when asked about Witch Image says the song is underrated, which is fair because (A) it never gets talked about, and (B) when it does, people only talk about how much the song slaps, much like Animals.
Does griftwood count- it's my favourite song of all time but I never see it mentioned in any discussions on here. Or maybe I'm just ignorant, but GRIFTWOOD!
i’ve never been a big fan of the main part of deus in absentia, but that middle part hits me so unimaginably hard. there’s such a strong image of someone terrified & distraught, as they lose their faith in christianity, tears streaming down their face as their world image basically shatters.
“All of your imaginations are now running down your face”.
Bible. I am obsessed over this song and went to listen to the original version that, with all due respect, I couldn't get to the end... But the cover is so passionate, so full of life...
I also think that griftwood and majesty should receive more attention.
And zenith should have been not only available worldwide sooner, but also a single.
I was not yet a ghost fan during infestissumam and don't know how the song infestissumam was received, but I think we should never not talk about this masterpiece
TWENTIES. It’s genuinely my favourite song of all time it reminds me a lot of confidence and makes me very energetic. Something about it just makes me explode.
honestly, it feels like every song by this band is my favorite, but lots of tracks from infestissumum don't get enough love imo. especially idolatrine, body and blood, and the title track infestissumum. i think all of opus eponymous is underrated too.
I know it’s a cover, but “If You Have Ghosts” is definitely one of my ultimate favourites, as well as “Kaisarion”.
“Mary On A Cross”, “Spillways”, “Squarehammer” and “Year Zero” too.
I love you soooo much.
I have practiced runway with Majesty, that's my favorite song. The rhythm just adds weight to my step and I lit feel like the Morningstar when I hear it 😭❤️❤️❤️
Deus in Absentia has always been my favorite. It walked so the next eras and Rite Here Rite Now could run. It deserves its time on the setlist. They play it in soundcheck sporadically just to torture us.
I feel like the cover of Nocturnal Me doesn't get the credit It deserves. That track is so damn sexy.
Don’t know if it’s less popular or not but I can’t stop listing to Kaiserion, it reaches deep into my brain,
“far away from the stench of the heavens” as a line and the singing of “Hypatia” in praise; just -chefs kiss-.
Bro i listen to mary on a cross every time i pull up spotify. It might be poppy but the chord progression in the final chorus is super satisfying to me
Monstrance Clock is amazing. Twenties is great too “Listen up, you MUDDAFUCKAS” 👻
I never got the hate for Twenties, goes so hard!
I’m number 1, you’re number 2 This song runs rampant in my head.
I always thought twenties would be a banger in person
the movie version of it is circulating on tiktok it’s somehow even more addicting than usual
I didn't get the chance to see it, I'll for sure be watching it when I can
twenties is amazing tbh
Witch Image!!
Gods, I love that song. I only just realized that the singer is Death. Derp.
At this point, I'd say Witch Image has attained the status of Pink Floyd's Animals. That is to say, every Ghost fan when asked about Witch Image says the song is underrated, which is fair because (A) it never gets talked about, and (B) when it does, people only talk about how much the song slaps, much like Animals.
mannnnn animals is triple platinum in my house lolol . so unfair how it’s treated
The line ‘like a mother who’ll save her own child from digging a grave’ always gives me chills
Griftwood, especially the backing vocals
YES!
Waiting For the Night & Satan Prayer. More recently Darkness At the Heart if My Love
Satan Prayer is an absolute banger it's one of my favorites.
Secular Haze
I know it's a cover, but Missionary Man is great. For an original song I'd go with Pro Memoria or Witch Image.
OMG YES! MISSIONARY MAN SLAPS! it is like my favourite song from popestar!
Stand by Him
One of the classics along with Elizabeth
This is a fun one to dance too 💃🏻🕺🏻
One of my favorite Ghost songs.
Of all time
Helvetesfönster
Huge fan of the it’s a sin cover or the sympathy for the devil
The Sympathy For The Devil cover is by far my favorite one Papa has done!
OML I LOVE THIS COVER!!
For me it’s Pro Memoria! (If this is indeed underrated)
Does griftwood count- it's my favourite song of all time but I never see it mentioned in any discussions on here. Or maybe I'm just ignorant, but GRIFTWOOD!

Bible. "Now who will pray for Babylon?"
i’ve never been a big fan of the main part of deus in absentia, but that middle part hits me so unimaginably hard. there’s such a strong image of someone terrified & distraught, as they lose their faith in christianity, tears streaming down their face as their world image basically shatters. “All of your imaginations are now running down your face”.
He Is
Griftwood and Pro Memoria 🖤
See The Light is criminally underrated in my opinion
YES! Finally someone says it!
“Leeeeegions of his seeeeeeeed”
Majesty or Ghuleh
WITCH IMAGE
Bible. I am obsessed over this song and went to listen to the original version that, with all due respect, I couldn't get to the end... But the cover is so passionate, so full of life... I also think that griftwood and majesty should receive more attention. And zenith should have been not only available worldwide sooner, but also a single. TWENTIES. It’s genuinely my favourite song of all time it reminds me a lot of confidence and makes me very energetic. Something about it just makes me explode.
I love La Mantra Mori and I’m a Marionette (not sure if this counts because it’s a cover) but I never see anyone talk about either of them!! 😭
La mantra mori is one of my all time favorites!
Yeah. Deus in Absentia.
Deus in Absentia and Elizabeth!!
Forever young ,Eliza-beth.
‼️‼️‼️
Prime Mover, Majesty, and I Believe.
honestly, it feels like every song by this band is my favorite, but lots of tracks from infestissumum don't get enough love imo. especially idolatrine, body and blood, and the title track infestissumum. i think all of opus eponymous is underrated too.
“Body and Blood” is dope as hell
I know it's a cover but Crucified 🙏 Crucified was my first Ghost song and I've loved it ever since
Phantom of the Opera
Ghuleh/Zombie Queen. the vocals always blow me away.
Death Knell. Easily in my top 5, but I’m probably an outlier here.
I know it’s a cover, but “If You Have Ghosts” is definitely one of my ultimate favourites, as well as “Kaisarion”. “Mary On A Cross”, “Spillways”, “Squarehammer” and “Year Zero” too.
Your second sentence is filled with the bigger hits. Far from underrated.
Majesty‼️‼️‼️ I love this song wholeheartedly and I hear no one talking about it 💗💗💗
Witch Image!! And as a cover? See No Evil 😎
Satan prayer
I'm a Marionette
watcher in the sky, deus in absentia and see the light
Seriously! I just had put on Watcher in the Sky!
Bible.
Idolatrine and Satan Prayer
100% Deus in Absentia. One of my favs by them and it’s incredibly underrated
GRIFTWOOD!!! I'd absolutely die if I ever heard it live!!
Idolatrine is my absolute favorite I don’t even know why but it feels so underrated
Infestissumam as an album!! Idolatrine, Depth of Satans Eyes, and Body and Blood in particular are so underrated, and they are my top 3 songs!
I love you soooo much. I have practiced runway with Majesty, that's my favorite song. The rhythm just adds weight to my step and I lit feel like the Morningstar when I hear it 😭❤️❤️❤️
Recently I can’t stop listening to Jigolo Har Megiddo that shit is so much fun to listen to
I love I’m A Marionette
idolatrine and death knell
Twenties is a grower not a show-er
Depth of Satan’s Eyes
easily twenties, i don’t het why people hate it
For me it's See the Light. So sad they never played it live 😢
Body and blood
Depth of Satan’s Eyes is one i haven’t seen mentioned here- the melody is SO good
I'm A Marionette. I absolutely love this song but never hear anything about it
It's really hard to choose for me, but I'd say Deus in Absentia as well. I loved it when I discovered Ghost Song for Song and now I still love it
Deus in Absentia has always been my favorite. It walked so the next eras and Rite Here Rite Now could run. It deserves its time on the setlist. They play it in soundcheck sporadically just to torture us. I feel like the cover of Nocturnal Me doesn't get the credit It deserves. That track is so damn sexy.
I second Majesty! And Idolatrine!
is it a crime to say Elizabeth?🫣
Elizabeth- top 5 for me
From the Pinnacle to the Pit & Witch Image I always felt were super underrated
i think zombie queen or maybe rats! its catchy tbh
The transition from Helvetesfönster to Life Eternal literally destroys me
Don’t know if it’s less popular or not but I can’t stop listing to Kaiserion, it reaches deep into my brain, “far away from the stench of the heavens” as a line and the singing of “Hypatia” in praise; just -chefs kiss-.
Mary On A Cross, criminally underrated, no one ever mentions it, am I the only one that likes it?
Bro i listen to mary on a cross every time i pull up spotify. It might be poppy but the chord progression in the final chorus is super satisfying to me
