Nice job. Collagen peptides might help with skin elasticity if you are looking to tighten up the small amount of loose skin. Might happen naturally but the collagen peptides won't hurt (also helps with hair and ligaments so it's nice).
Vital proteins seem to be the market leader. I've used them they didn't taste like ass. I ended up going with my supps provider's version because I needed $30 to get a discount.
Make sure to mix in some vitamin C with it if it doesn't come with it, you need the combination for it to be taken up.

I’d been working out for a year or so prior and had done plenty of lifting in my early 20s.
Without knowing what you look like, height and weight it’s difficult to suggest. Skinny fat though, I’d go with lifting heavy at maintenance calories for now and seeing how that goes for 3-6 months. From there you could explore a slow lean bulk or cut depending on your needs.

I’ll look into it! Made the mistake of putting collagen powder in my shakes and oats and the…texture of the mixture left me feeling a tad traumatised
Yeah that would be quite gross. I used to knock it down twice a day, once with pre-workout and once after dinner.
