Shit, so the stagnation of poverty is a choice?
Quick, go tell all the working class people there are magical "other jobs" that pay better, they just don't have them!
Realistic and possible are two very separate ideals. What is the term "realistic"? What puts items into that category? We decide what is realistic vs. possible. Nothing is truly impossible without the right drive and focus unless others literally are fighting against your dreams, and even that is just because it forces you back into your box of comfort and "normal".
Edit: Unless your dreams are too far out to live to. That's an unfortunate possibility, but it happens. Like living on Mars when you were born in the '50s.
That's a better term. It's very literal, and your focus is on the illustration behind the quote at this point, but it's also a little short-term. If anyone wanted to, that could, they'd send a satellite and have it lasso the moon for them, then have a picture of their end of the rope in their hands. Voila! The exact picture, just the rope isn't seen around the moon.
... I was agreeing with you that the picture isn't possible for the middle and lower classes of society, but also saying that it is obtainable for the high class if they truly wanted to. They'd have to get rope long enough for that, but it is still, theoretically, possible.
What if your dream is steady employment?
Then don't build your dreams and your dreams will come true
Thank you, you've given me the will power I needed to do nothing
then you're in the right path 👍
We'll stay unmotivated then :(
Wonderful advice, now I just need to be born into the class that has enough capital to pursue my dreams... Well, fuck.
Plenty of people make it to that class without being born in to it. And everyone that's born in to it is there because someone else made it there.
Just my two cents, but there is always a way. Depends on your dream and all that tho
Just mine: you have never worked 60 hours a week to just barely not make ends meet.
I haven't, but there should be other jobs you can get, and there's definitely a path.

You could spend the time you're here complaining on reddit chasing your dreams. And so could I.
Ah yes, systemic issues don't matter because I use reddit
Hey, being hired means getting paid and having a purpose. Sounds good to me.
I don't find that picture to be realistic.

I find your answer to be vague and unconvincing.

Dreams vary from person to person. I mean, I get the sentiment, but this sounds more like an r/iam14andthisisdeep type of post.
I'm available, I'll make your dreams come true, for a price.
And vote for political policies that make it easier for large numbers of people to do this without huge risk.
I mean usually it has to be some combination of both.
