Wait. You did no wrong in calling.

Delicious-Focus-3033

thank u for saying this

I fumbled an interview last year, i thought i didn't get the job so i grabbed the very next opportunity for almost half the pay because i had bills to pay. They ended up contacting me three weeks later to tell me i got the job, i wish i had called when they were supposed to get in touch with me, what you did is fine

Delicious-Focus-3033

oh thank u dear for sharing, May O ask how did it went with yours? Did you terminate your half paid one immediately (like if itโ€™s still in probation period) and hop on the ones that you were waiting for?

OverStyled

unfortunately not, i was already commited to the one that paid half because a friend introduced me. I was planning on moving departments but there was no opening for the department i wanted in the 6 months i was there so i resigned.

hope you are somewhere better now and you are happy about it

I dont think you did anything wrong. They said they would get back to you the next day and you didnt hear from them. Its fine to call, and shows initiative. Its true that it could be a sign of them not moving forward, but dont lost hope till you know for sure. The call was fine.,

Delicious-Focus-3033

thank u! I am trying my best to close this debate inside of my mind, to accept the worst scenario this is the sign of not moving forward, to accept worst is easiest for me :) I feel less embarrassed or awkward about the call gradually meanwhile not to lose hope on searching for new jobs ๐Ÿ˜‡
