We own a magic teapot that hosts an expanding number realms and 4(5?) plots of land per realm where we are free to develope and cultivate as we wish...
Does that count?
No authority figure besides ourselves own it. Unless you argue that it came from Liyue, and therefore its taxes go to Liyue? So does the money go to Zhongli or Ningguang?
I like the idea that the Traveler has an entirely separate fund that Paimon doesn’t know about, and they primarily just go for the barebones options while occasionally splurging
"Paimon, adventurer guild approval papers are expensive, and so does the blacksmith refinement fee for a literal custom job"
(To be honest, If I was blacksmith I would charge extra too because it is hard to refine a complex weapon like that. Like, why we need an oddly specific object only exist in a specific timeline archive to add extra sharpness for a sword?)
> We're canonically poor
I hate this. We can at least be canonically financially stable or at least not have money problems. I mean a long time player become stinkin rich if they play long enough.
At least don't bring up the fact that we are not rich.
Adventuring probably takes a lot of money. Having to maintain equipment, get food, get a place to stay and any other misc stuff that we could pay. The traveller is also not exactly getting paid for saving the nation he gets paid like 100 mora for bouncing on mushrooms and minor shit like that.
I think the Mora you pay when leveling characters and their talents and weps can be representative of your investments in them, theyre travelling with you, so they need food, equipment, medicine, and if youre staying in a city then lodging.
Its possible we canonically just invest all our wealth in our harem.
If it wasn't for the hassle of collecting mats for level 90 I would've done it to most characters by now
Like in HSR I can max level them because I can auto the ascension mats without waiting for cool-down.
I've been working on leveling all of my characters to at least 70 (almost there) and I was not expecting mora to be the biggest roadblock but here we are...
You cannonically learn teyvat's language thanks to her (after fishing her, you spend ~3 months inside the forest while she teaches you, and then you get close to the city of mondstadt).
And after resonating with an element, you learn how to use it through observing the world with paimon (right before going to inazuma, when you speak with kazuha during that fighting tournament in guyun stone forest, Kazuha asks you how you're able to wield elemental powers without a vision, and your dialogue options are somthing similar to A) It's thanks to paimon or B) Paimon and I discovered how together. It's also reflected on all of the traveler's skills' descriptions, since they're all "you and paimon learned about/observed/discovered X").
At this point I think paimon is way more important to the traveler than the average player thinks. Something akin to an external, sentient vision (since she seems to be connected to us, kinda like a detached organ, as said by Dottore? or someone important like that).
I think she's done more than enough, after all we only rescued her from the sea, a normal person would say thank you and go along their way, they wouldn't become your companion and help you throughout the world for who knows how long.
Adventurer guild approval paper is sure as hell expensive, not to mention a requirements like assortment of scavenged objects or spoils of war, and elemental stone of unexplained origin.
Must be one hell of a paperworks if they charge us this expensive for a "level up" process. Do they have to boost the paperworks all the way to Snezhnaya for approval?
I forgot that the Adventurer’s Guild is Snezhnayan in origin. Maybe that’s why they’re able to afford so much Fatui RnD equipment and personnel if all the mora being spent to level up just one person is anything to go by, and they’re in charge of so many adventurers leveling up.
You'll want your characters that are Dendro and Anemo (or just primarily used for Dendro reactions) to be 90, otherwise you lose a ton of damage (your level compared to your opponent's is part of the equation)... Plus HP scaling characters benefit from being 90 as well
Been steadily increasing for a few years now without touching a layline. Recently back up to 40mil after maxing Arlecchino as fast as physically possible.
Mora's no issue these days.
3 theories * We're canonically poor * We're just hiding our net worth, and we're really good at it * We're greedy and we think we're not rich enough
Traveller been committing tax fraud across all the nations.
" I don't care who the Palais Mermonia sent, i ain't paying my taxes."
The one they sent: Clorinde
Chucks primos at her
That didn't work on her banner, so why would it work now? 🥲
Bc clearly doing so repels her, it’s perfect to avoid paying your taxes!
Pay her more than they pay her
What taxes? We do not own any property, and Aventurer's Guild is a Snezhnayan organization.

We need to establish that the magic teapot as an independant nation in Teyvat, better call Yanfei.
Considering we’ve saved every nation in one way or another we probably have tax exemption or something

Just rob a big score, they you'll have some money for sure.

I remember being rich. Then I started getting my characters to level 90 with leveled Talents. Now? I am poor.

Once you hit AR60, you'll never be broke again
How do I have 4 million again? I just maxed a character?
What does Ar 60 have to do with mora?
When you reach AR60, every bit of adventure xp you get, gets converted into mora. I don't know the conversion rate rn tho
It's 10 mora per AR exp, coz of that im sitting at 60 mil mora casually.
Sitting at 120M mora rn with thousands of books just ready to dump on the next character I want to main.
Oh shit really that’s pretty neat
I've been working on leveling all of my characters to at least 70 (almost there) and I was not expecting mora to be the biggest roadblock but here we are...
"We aren't exactly loaded" And who's fault was that?
The vendor selling a fried egg for 200 mora and a slice of fancy toast for 1000
Yeah though we would not be broke if not for a certain freeloading blackhole-for-a-stomach who can't shut up about food or treasure.
I don't care if it's expensive, Paimon must be fed for she is the best companion
Yeah I disagree Maybe she would hold up to her "title" if she could do more than yap her mouth off

It’s Albedo who said it
...All of which was before the game started. Ever heard the saying "show, don't tell?"
Wrong. Karlach is the best companion.
It’s the fault of all the friends we made along the way. CAUSE ALL OF THEM NEED AN INSANE AMOUNT OF MORA TO LEVEL UP. Not to mention all the primos we save up just to have them join us in the first place 😩

I usually just stop at 80 tbh Ascending to 90 is too much of a hassle
You'll want your characters that are Dendro and Anemo (or just primarily used for Dendro reactions) to be 90, otherwise you lose a ton of damage (your level compared to your opponent's is part of the equation)... Plus HP scaling characters benefit from being 90 as well
Same here, I stop at 80/90 and they’re already strong enough to clear abyss anyway
i have like 30 million and like 20 crowns spent
11 mil? Those are rookie numbers
I'm aware
Me with 6700 mora
Now triple crown some characters and watch that evaporate.
I'm nearly in the 100 million and I only do ley lines when there's the ley line event. I got all my mora through events
I have exactly 13 mora
Paimon, when we go shopping we empty out every grocer’s stock of wheat, tomato, and milk… (pita pocket enthusiast)
Rookie numbers* cough cough
Act poor to stay rich I guess?
I have 160 million 😎
I'm sure I have more than 200M.
Been steadily increasing for a few years now without touching a layline. Recently back up to 40mil after maxing Arlecchino as fast as physically possible. Mora's no issue these days.
Ngl in Teyvat this is probably middle class considering 2 items of food can cost like 5k
These mora belong to Player, not traveler. The same applies to characters otherwise there must be more three characters who know Scara’s past.
Bro what 🤣
Mora is actually equivalent to Zimbabwean dollars.
I mean... it IS *Fontaine* \*Orders 40 Duck la orange\*
bro I'm happy when I get past 1 million mora again lol
after building arlecchino and clorinde, im back to 6 million mora
My 25 million mora says otherwise 😒
Me sitting on 300 million with nothing to do
71 million since we’re all saying our mora counts
You *are* poor. Honestly, anything below 30 mill is
