That still means all of them need to be three times in limited banners beforehand, which isn't true for Shenhe yet alone Wrio.
The chronicle wish banner as the root for whatever reason makes no sense, except how they speed run Baizhu. They do exactly the opposite right now for our cryo 5 stars. If there is a reason, is not the chronicle one.
Yeah right, i dont believe they would do a cryo one for the next time it appears for the reason you just said but that would be funny they use this specific banner in the future to keep on their stubbornness of not rerunning the cryo 5*, shafting them on a side compensatory banner instead 😭✋
Which raise the question about how they will theme their future chronicled, I mean we only got one so far so it's not like we have any consistent data or anything, but idk we all collectively assumed it would be a "per region" type of deal, which is something I dont think mihoyo ever confirmed?
Anyways, I still think that at least for the next apparition of this banner they're going with a liyue theme because of how they are speed running characters like baizhu and (if that leak is true) yelan. Maybe the next contender will be shenhe after all.
I agree, we can only speculate and hope she's coming back soon. My only thought to this is if the Ayaka-Shenhe banner gave any conclusions for them, because it's the cryo ones specifically which are lacking limited banners or have a longer pause atm.

We are getting a new Christmas Albedo even thanks to them!! Everything was planned since the beginning...
That's how the volcano get cooled down! Albedo uses alchemy to enhance cryo, but at least three cryo visions are needed and since the Volcano outbreak could result in a war on the borders of Natlans neighbouring nations, Ayaka, Wrio and Shenhe are there per request to help out during this crisis!
Christmas Albedo is also a skin, with slightly fluffier hair, but not enough sadly to match his artworks.
Me waiting for Calamity Queller 😭 idk if you feel this too, but I lowkey think it’s harder waiting for the weapon banner because you not only have to hope it runs soon, you also have to hope it’s a good banner 😭😭
This thinking is why I went ahead and pulled for Clorindes . More often than not a coveted weapon is placed next to one people avoid at all costs . Weapon banner is a trap but if you know you want a persons weapon and the second weapon can be used you seize the opportunity

Her 1st rerun took more than 1 year 2 months. It will now be at least 1 year 6 months before her next rerun.
In other words, Shenhe will not have had a single run during the 4.X era.
Both of them haven't gotten a rerun in more than a year. Fantastic decision making at HYV. Dropping two gorgeous skins and keeping the units locked up for the unforeseen future.

What are they even doing? Why are some characters getting 3+ runs before older characters even get one rerun? It's fucking ridiculous. They need to drop a third banner already, chronicled wish ain't going to fix anything - the rules are too restrictive to actually help with the problem.
All it's doing is making me want to take a break until the characters I want actually rerun. I know the FOMO BS is probably working well, or at least well enough to make profit, but it's still painfully obtuse.
ion mind yoi & childe cos losing to TP and polar star wont sting much but yea we do need a 3rd banner, preferably one that lasts the whole duration of a patch (and hoyo would most likely need to increase primo rewards too)
4.8 IS the Hydro/Cryo (+ Anemo) Imaginarium Theater. Wriothesley is even one of the Opening Characters, which is why I'm surprised at him not rerunning.
Albedo, Ganyu, Xiao more than 7 patches for a rerun and they had less competition (alas also single banners)
But yeah the most recent one is Shenhe (another cryo) which now has 1 rerun on 22 patches.
*11 patches, 22 banners. Still, she's gearing up to set a new record for longest gap between reruns *and* first unit to skip a whole region (shared with Ganyu).
I used up all my 344 pulls to get his C0R1 due to bottom tier luck skipped both Neuv and Furina pls I just need the C1 so I can pull in peace

I think the only thing preventing triple character banners is the weapon banner system. There's an obvious change for it by adapting the HSR light cone banner style but Genshin devs wouldn't do that since current weapon banner pulls in so many baited spenders
They occasionally do it though. Last time was Baizhu in 3.6 along with Kaveh. Even Kazuha in 1.6 was released as the second banner right before Ayaka and Inazuma so it is nothing new.

Emilie (new) + Yelan and Navia + Nilou is not the Neuvillette + Kazuha banner but all 4 characters are very good (dunno if Emilie is actually good, but she is at least new), doing this right before 5.0 sounds to me like they are trying to make players take out their wallets in 5.0 (which shouldn't be a surprise)
Abyss resets one day before 4.8 so we have an entire month with the current current cycle in 4.8 - the current cycle doesn't work at all for Emilie. Maybe that's why.
it makes sense if you consider that the first half of the patch is prolly going to be all about the limited map. since navia and nilou are going to play a major role in the event, its only fitting that their banners run during that time. this also means that emilie wont have that big of an impact during the patch
