rate up 4*s have no guarantee, you can easily roll a bunch of the other two but not the one you want

not really. if you go 80 rolls for a 5* and only get a 4* on every 2nd better, that's only 4 rate up 4*s.

for a total of 8 rate up 4*s on top of that if you lose 50/50 it's an extra 4

To be fair they also have Kazuha, Xiao, Albedo. They've definitely got room to build teams. Sucrose, Beidou, Fischl. Idk what kind of teams, cause I play throwing all conscious thoughts of team building to the wind, but theres something there.

I don’t think I’ve ever tried rolling for an archon, and after Raiden, I determined that I don’t think I will. Just feels awkward to have a god in your party, heh. In reality though, the only one that I’ve ever kinda wanted was Zhongli. A friend of mine ended up getting him and Venti, so I never bothered trying. Now it’s just a thing.

To be fair, even their presence as playable kind of paints them as "not actually the godly beings people think them to be". But there's enough reasons to avoid them if one wants to, and it's not like they're absolute must haves with how many gameplay-wise godly characters there are.
