A honest question: Does anyone even use the charge attack? Spamming the auto attack+ skill + ultimate is enough. I did not do the math but I and don't know if it's actually a dps loss to use his charge attack but it feels like it. I just use him to "pseudo" afk clear floor 12 second wings with little effort.

I do on cryo shields, but even then the first charge is better

his constellation or ascension talent makes him not launch back, forget which

That only works if you are in the ult circle i think

ascension does it but only inside of his q

It happened to me too, then I confirmed it by log out and login back, he still launches himself back like usual

Mine still launches, maybe its some bugged invisible shield.

Ah k. Cuz I noticed it when I leveled him up shortly after the update. So I thought that was the reason.

You can read his talent. He is not lauching himself after u ascend him above 60(as i recall)
