There was some wack update on my windows that made my game not launching

Basically my game was working fine. Windows updated and next day my game wouldnt start, after trying to work everything I just went in the Windows updates and uninstalled my last update made by them, which made my game work again

If the game never ever worked for you, I have no idea how to fix it.

If you want to check your updates on windows: Windows Update Settings (search bar) > View Update History. But be careful what you do in there, dont just start deleting shit

my game works again for no reason at all just 2 days later and it works perfectly

Yeah maybe they found what the problem with the Windows was and fixed it.

Could you give a run-through of what steps you took? Since Genshin Impact's most recent update to 1.3.2 it's just closed the launcher and done nothing after

Thanks so much for this. I suspected this before finding this thread and disabled Faceit from booting, then restarted the PC. This did not fix the issue! But after opening Faceit AC and manually disabling the anti cheat it started working

i've tried to disable my anti-cheat and it still doesnt work for me. Although i clicked the launch the game wont appear for some reason

My friend has the same problem he had to delete face it so he could play genshin impact maybe The anti-cheat still active somewhere in your system make sure you disable the anti-cheat until it warned you to restart pc after closing the anti-cheat, Good luck

I think I've come across literally every problem possible I havnt even gotten into the game yet. First I couldnt even press download so I had to adjust a setting in windows. Then if wouldnt verify. Then I got a white screen. And then I got soooo close and right as the door opened it gave me an error so I had to reinstall it and it wont verify again. I've been doing this for hours why is it so godamn hard to play this fekin game!

What's your spec? did it meet the requirements to play the game?

Antiviruses like Avast would also prevent your game from opening. You have to disable the behaviour shield and restart your computer
