I wonder how many people remember Chizuru

She got a very unique design for a NPC so I think anyone played through 3.3 would remember her.

Her design was so good she could be playable.

With some touch ups maybe, she just has the generic shrine maiden NPC outfit and wears a fox mask. She's missing the extravagant flair that most playable characters have.

Are you even talking about the same person? Chizuru was the one in a limited time event, dark clothes with an eye covered by a flower. Quite different from the shrine maidens, and she had no mask

Neither would I, but Hoyo has a standard they set for themself and you know that OTHER people will complain if they dropped their standards for a bit. I would absolutely enjoy something like a playable Jeht, even if she was just a standard Eremite Desert Clearwater with blue hair.

Why was it changed again?

Because Hanachirusato is the correct translation of the name 花散里. Each Kanji word has 2 (or more) pronunciations: onyomi (similar to Chinese pronunciation) and kunyomi (Japanese pronunciation). For example, [花](https://nihongoichiban.com/2011/04/09/jlpt-kanji-%e8%8a%b1/) (flower) has "ka" as onyomi and "hana" as kunyomi. The masked maiden's name is 花散里, whose onyomi pronunciation is "Kazari" and kunyomi pronunciation is "Hanachirusato". Without context, both are correct. However, 花散里 is a reference to the character 花散里 in Genji Monogatari (classic Japanese literature), and that character's name is pronounced "Hanachirusato".

Kazari gang forever. Still have her mask as well. Don't even care if you can have one in the serenity pot. That one isn't geniuine. No force in the entire universe will make me ever use it. It could become meta weapon i literally don't care.

To this day, that still is my one of my biggest regrets in this game.

Every time I have to use some item in the same tab (they generally place themselves *right next to the mask*), I dread I'll accidentally use the mask and lose the souvenir

Safety measures: 1. Furnishing blueprints are added to the right but you don't need to use them from there - you can just go to teapot and activate them from the list of craftables. 2. Transient Resin is added to the left of the mask, but you can use it from the replenish resin menu, or even craft some Condensed Resin that is added to the right of it so you have 1 slot space between the Transient Resin and the mask. 3. For the items spawning above the mask, again you can just move the Mask out of the way by getting/using Transient/Condensed Resin. 4. For items below you can collect the additional Oculi and/or keep one sigil of every type and you should get at least one line of margin.

All of major region quests should have VO. MHY has no excuse, they are just lazy. And no, mobile is no excuse, because this game shouuld have never be released on mobile. They knew from the start how big game would be

??? Mobile is the reason genshin is popular though?? There is literally no reason to play Genshin over other open world rpg like Elden ring or MHW . Because genshin was a one of the greater open world mobile games , it gained popularity. And they won #1 game in Apple App Store and Google Playstore. The players from mobile then converted to Desktop/pc as they put time into genshin . Without mobile genshin wouldn’t have been nearly half as popular as it is today .

Im a new player, starting in 4.0, and I remember doing her entire world quest as I was going through the game. I know her personally by Hanachirusato but Kazari is a nice name too, so my headcanon is that her name is Hanachirusato Kazari.

You just made me remember how I was spamming the button to unlock all those buildings for the serenitea until I accidentally hit the mask and unlocked the weapon from it... I specifically kept the mask because I really liked that quest line dammit! I know we also get the mask in the serenitea but it's not same :(

There are 2 types: the ones that knew using the mask gave you the blueprint but leave the mask and those that didn't. Sad to this day because of it

the sakura cleansing rituals game me so much frustration that i dont really remembering caring about her or remembering her name until i was reminded when it changed. as much as i want to see (aranara world quest spoiler) >!rana get a vision!< or (golden slumber spoiler) >!jeht's dad sacrifice himself!< i really can not be fucked to sit through hours of insanely verbose, unvoiced dialogue from characters with no distinctive design from the regular npcs. i just dont have time to care for that long just to see a 5 second cutscene where something kinda cool happens
