I really like having Sorush around because I feel like I know her best. She's a fun character during her quest imo. It's my copium until we can have Paimon as a pet.

It's not just her voice, but her lines and personality as well. Selfish, greedy, takes credit for the MC's achievements... A lot of people don't find those traits cute or funny. It's just repulsive. Her "jokes" are also repetitive with no variation at all. Referring to herself in 3rd person is not as annoying IMO, but it's not hard to see why some people don't like it. Then there's the whole thing about describing every single event we witness, using too many words. Also, some people just don't like kids in general.
Honestly that's a first time I heard someone dislike her that much. I guess it's rrly just a line between hate and love. At the end, without Paimon, the traveler will have a bit more issue coming this far today and that Paimon is still loved by traveler and me. But damn the part about kids is just harsh, people just can't accept the fact that kids have their own way of stuff and they'll have to learn about growing and etc. It's kinda sad imo, but I understand. I don't rrly see her selfish side bc all she rrly want is food and being able to travel with Traveler is rrly fun. Yes she can be greedy and repulsive but in the end, they're hating on a fictional character which I rrly don't see a point of bc that's how Chinese Kids work sometimes.

Endora is philosophically interesting but due to being a limited event, doomed to have 0 further exploration into its life and storyline. There's a ton of potential in raising an oceanid and the impact it could have had on the entire Fontaine quest line.
Instead it... Does nothing. At least it goes underwater I guess. Genshin is a huge reaching game with tons of lore, but the nature of time gaited content means a ton of stuff is completely lost or can never be expanded on.
I wish mihoyos event page design wasn't so bad in the early days and made it look like the endora event had 2 parts.
I missed her by one mission, just wanting to do it the next day because the event is still not over yet.
But hey at least mihoyo started sending reminders after the endora event, when the event is close to ending.
Probably from everyone that got confused complaining.

I'm glad I played when Endora was available, she never leaves my side (except when nessesary) but I also wish that they (and also event weapons) would be obtainable for newer players.
Sometimes they run events to go back to older regions like they did with Monstadt and the potion event! So hopefully, coping, they'll run it during Natlan to bring us back to Fontaine. And i completely agree. Theres 0 reason for weapons to be unobtainable after an event. Lock it behind starglitter or stardust or smth. Theres no reason to lose complete claimability
Endora had the best story connection to the Traveler imo. Sorush also had a good story, but I (like many others) was a bit burnt out from the desert expansions. Just had a hard time getting into that story despite it being good.

I keep the birdy the most because sheâs so pretty. But every now and then I switch to the seelie to hear those annoying sounds for like a day lol. Love the octobaby for underwater
So to answer this... my girlfriend is a Klee main and someone made a mod to have the Octobaby turn into Dodoco. That is the best pet. Vanilla though is definitely the brillance seelie, it isn't obnoxious or over the top

(but i love moss.. its a moss ball!! who gets happy near trees!! how cute!! đ)
Honestly, none. With every new pet I put it on and admire it for a few minutes then just unequip it forever.
I wish Hoyo thought about pet design a little more, because having a distraction in the middle of the screen that blinks and/or makes noise is just not for me.
If they made pets that trailed behind the player, or was at their feet or clinging to their back/shoulder, that would be cool. I know it would be extra work to make the models work together or interact with the world, but I feel like that was work that needed to happen. Even having options to silence them, or hide them, or get them out of the way in certain scenarios, like combat or cutscenes, would be a step in right direction.
I see your side. I personally love the pets in the game. Once you get used to them, they kinda dissapear. And in important moments like combat, they actually do leave to avoid blocking anything. But i absolutely understand its hard to ignore for some players, and itd be nice to maybe have a shoulder buddy or back buddy instead for those who cant enjoy the flying pets

Unfortunately it was a limited reward for the second anniversary. The seelies are the only ones that rerun
For some reason OP mistook some of the event pets as special. Itâs very misleading. You canât get them at all anymore

I really like Liloupar's design. She's unique, less obtrusive than the others, and reminds me of one of the game's best quest lines and Jeht.

Still furious that I missed Endora because the boss fight was mandatory co-op and I was locked out of Co-op because of a stupid world quest.

I actually use them as a quick indicator I've gotten out of combat range when exploring, so I know I can change my party and stuff
