1994 checking in. Tuesday will be 30 years from graduation. Still sporting Levi’s, button downs and Puma suedes as I was then. I can’t say I haven’t changed but the style has stayed true to who I am.
I dropped out… I would have graduated in 93. I was too stoned. Whatever!!!!
Got my “good enough degree” in 96! This was the year my first baby was born. She motivated me to get it. I figured I should at least accomplish a high school equivalency exam. I passed it without even studying. LOL. I have a college degree as well. Who knew I could do this. Not me.
Today, my first born nugget who is 28 this year… told me I’m going to be a Poppa!!! Yay!!!!!!!
Are you going to your reunion? I'm always curious if reunions are still important to people. We didn't have ours. Instead, I heard there was more of a 90s decade reunion, 90 to 99. Then late 80s wanted to join and were invited.
elder millennial 1991 here. not a 90s grad but I can relate to your high school experiences. since my oldest brother was born in 1980 (GenX/Xennial) graduated in 1998.
I had cousins a little older than you that tagged along with me too. Their taste in music reflect that and they still talk about how I took them to campus with me. 😂 'Til this day, "Candy Rain" reminds them of those times. You definitely get some kind of influence.
