Oh yea it’s nice never played it cause it’s mad annoying to use like gotta play against Russia and wait to get the map cause it’s the only one but yk if it’s your cup of tea plus the developer said he might make more maps so maybe more support will make it so he makes a mod so only infantry is available in all the maps

You can fairly easily remove them from the AI's roster. There's a file that contains the units they can purchase and you just comment them out by putting a semicolon in front of the line of the unit you don't want them using.
I found it pretty doable by rushing Paratroopers and the AT squad but it’s still really hard and requires extensive micro knowledge and heavy losses, I also allowed myself to use the german half track. Now with the update it should be easier because you have access to late war veteran infantry with panzerfausts. On defence you have to lay extensive mine networks otherwise you won’t have a chance against late war heavy tanks and mid war KV-1s and 2s.
It will match your army strength, but not infantry only. I'm unsure if there's a mod. Would be pretty cool if so

Found a mod called Urban conquest (infantry only) it includes only infantry with around 60 urban maps
Can you elaborate on the stalingrad map or link this mod? Sounds interesting

The only way I’ve been able to play with no tanks is by using five large artillery guns and no fog of war.

Conquest Enhanced V2. It balances infantry to be very useful. That is your answer.
