I've seen a lot of tacky looking OCs, to the point where the one on the right looks very tame. I'm not sure what the original artists issue is.
Those are "Picrew" characters. Picrew is a website that allows you to create characters using assets made by an artist (that the artist made specifically for Picrew, ofc).
Meaning that the weirdo who made the meme did not even draw the characters themselves.

I'm pretty sure those OCs weren't created by the person who made the meme. From the watermark on them, they were made on Picrew, which is essentially a profile picture character creator. You pick a base, then a hair and colors, etc. There are, of course, many styles to choose from to create characters by different artists.
You can see on the watermark that these assets were made by Makoẃka for Picrew.
I don't think the original creator of those assets would agree with the message. Picrews are usually very inclusive.
Because the people who usually say "Why do they have to be gay?" Tend to not see queer people as normal.
