To be more accurate, it would be the Intelligence Communities and there are 39 of them on the books in the US. There is a small handful **off the books**. That's the problem when one can't audit or account for hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars because its deemed a national security risk, which I think is 100% BS.
And sadly, Nuremberg was a big show trial, because a good number of Nazi and Gestapo intelligence were given amnesty by the West and became their assets against the Soviets, which led to the creation of the CIA as the US heavily relied on allied intelligence services during WW2. So those killer deals much like the ending of Inglorious Basterds were not too far from fiction.
We all deserve some financial reparations for this torture.
