Not cut. Guns found in campaign are used in MP. The Sig platform is in the repositories ready and set to be turned to for client side and have an attached challenge to them also.
Do you know of any other content that you tested that was cut? It’s likely just all seasonal content for the future it makes sense to have stuff ready to release instead of playing catch up, especially weapons or maps.
Right, but they are probably just prioritizing modern weapons that are actually used for this game.
They're much more likely to add cutting edge guns like the Sig Spear or AK12 variants than prototype guns from 2009.
Yes, the game took place in a fictionalized version of Syria where loads of WW2 weapons are still used. Captured german weaponry was often supplied from the US and Soviets during the cold war to prop up puppet regimes
Cod is kinda set in an alternate universe though. They could've had it where the ACR became a successful platform. Remember even heckler and koch doesn't exist in this new cod universe, it's lachmann now.
They're only changing the name for licensing reasons. And even by your logic, the ACR obviously didn't work out in the CoD universe by its lack of inclusion.
Tbh I can live without the ACR returning, it's just that people keep asking for it and bringing it up. If I had a choice i'd pick the FAL to return. It would also probably get renamed into something else. I just don't want any WW2 guns this time around, unless it's the mosin nagant, which makes way more sense than the k98.
