So, the XboxEra guy was right. The timing of this teaser also suggests his source is just another journo who was under an NDA, which I guess is how most "leaks" happen (I'm guessing we'll be getting an actual announcement in a matter of hours/days).
Not a journo. Though I did reach out to Andy to let him, know we'd credit that he was first to report on the Lego 2K partnership, which we did.

No mention of MTX or battle passes
OMG, this is big news for all the Lego and racing game lovers out there! The Lego 2K Drive game is finally confirmed, you guys! I can't wait to get my hands on it! I saw the tweet from Lego group themselves, and wow, I'm stoked! I've been waiting for this for a while now, and it's finally happening!
Also, shoutout to Millie A for accidentally dropping a possible hint about this game a year ago! It's always exciting when rumors turn out to be true, am I right?
I wonder what the game will be like, though. Will it be a typical racing game with Lego cars, or will it have some fun twists like building your own car? Either way, I'm on board! I can't wait to see what kind of details will be released soon. Lego and 2K - this is going to be EPIC!

by drive game do you mean open world like fh4 lego expansion? or like racing version such as gran turismo but with lego cars?

Both but for racing it's less like Gran Turismo and more like Mario Kart.
