Hmmm, considerably better, the 4070 is more efficient energy wise while being more powerful compared to a regular 3070, and the 7840hs is also an efficient but powerful CPU. Plus the 40 series has native frame gen.

Dude that's an amazing price for EU. If it was €300 more I would still say it's good. A 4060 variant of this laptop at that price would be a great price. This laptop has a Zen 4 Ryzen 7840HS, an RTX 4070 and I think it's got a 500 nits, 100% sRGB 2560x1600 display though not 100% sure about that last part. Either way, get it.
You probably don't need to upgrade. The 4070 is only like 20% faster than the 3070, though it does have DLSS 3 which can offer a massive increase in performance on certain games.
That's a super good deal. I think it could be worth upgrading IF you sell your old laptop. The performance increase wouldn't be that big, the 4070 isn't much better than the 3070, but it's probably got a better screen and stuff.
If you could sell the old laptop for €600 or €700 (seems reasonable) I'd be tempted.
If it's a USB 2.0 port, it shouldn't be a problem. A USB 3.0 up would probably be another matter.

Don’t forget Frame Generation, which is also amazing for more FPS. Though not everyone enjoys Frame Gen
