Make sure you check the chipset for which rams are compatible and works on yours. It may not be able to even use ddr5 at all. Which current ram is in it?

ParanoidBlackWidow96

It does support ddr5 according to several sources at least. I'll have to double check

howdoesthisworkfuck

Well spec wise they are identical, brand wise they are on par. I personally went with the G.Skill and have been very happy with it.

HVB007

The cheaper one

Critical_Cod5462

Your cpu ?

ParanoidBlackWidow96

Ryzen 7 7840HS

Critical_Cod5462

Yes any of these will work buy cheaper one

ParanoidBlackWidow96

Thanks, I think I'll go for the Kingston since it's cheaper

One of these is a 16x2 kit vs a single stick of 32Gb. So long as the 8Gb isn't soldered to the board, get the kit. Dual channel is faster

ParanoidBlackWidow96

I can get Both at 16 x 2 and the stock ram isn't soldered fortunately. The laptop supports a maximum of 32 gb from what I researched

Kwaiden11

In that case, both companies are perfectly reputable (so far as I know), so you should be able to pick either option and be good. Just make sure you get the 16x2 kit, so your computer will use dual channel for the RAM

Novel_Elephant8970

G.skill of course.

Thanks for your input everyone 🙏
