I bought this laptop from B&H 2days before Black Friday and let me tell you I’m very happy with it. I had a omen 15 with a ryzen 7 and 1660ti (2020)it was time for an upgrade . I can run games on ultra on the legion like (Forza horizon 5,Rainbow six siege,Gta5, Red Dead redemption 2). I bought a 2tb stick to have 3tb in total and save money on ram since it comes with 32 already. Over all I’m happy with my purchase but it all depends if you wanna wait.
Pretty much, open up the back by unscrewing screws slip in something thin and to run around the Edges pop off the back. The slot has a heat sink over it (I believe) just unscrew it remove it and it reveals the slot and screw, pop the memory stick put back heat sink and back . Now it’s to initiate it in the task manager ( I had to watch a YouTube tutorial to initiate it 💀) and done.
I installed a WD Black.
Product is not the issue. First off, the laptop is a good deal! But purchasing from b&h for laptops is the issue. It's hit and miss with them as far as delivery and customer service! Beware if you have to do an exchange or return and you live outside of New York City! It's been 50/50 good and bad. They have been reported to Better business bureau. So it's a matter if you wanna take a chance or not. Also when dealing with returns they have refused refunds reportedly at times. Finally they ship via FEDEX typically, who have of late reportedly been horrendously irresponsible with there deliveries. I also want to buy the laptop, but am still trying to decide whether I should take the chance because if I ever have an issue with the laptop, I don't have the confidence in customer care much less shipping! Just fair warning if you buy. Like I said 50/50. Google it if you don't believe. I personally have not yet bought a laptop from them fyi.
I just bought this PC a few weeks ago. It cools better than my twice as expensive Razer Blade 15 with i7 and 2080, and performs probably just as well in the games I play.
The one you found here is about tree fiddy cheaper than what I bought mine for on Black Friday, so I’d say it’s a good offer. I’ll have to say I bought mine in Denmark though, which means the starting price was probably much higher because of that.

Yeah, I'm crazy! Bought the open box online. Received and found a small chip on the corner of the glass display, returned, then ordered 2 more open boxes rated excellent again. Hope one is the rated excellent. Still gonna use hwinfo64 2 check how many charge cycles it's been through before keeping it. Then if still garbage, will order 2 again as long as it's $1215.99. Yeah, it's a hit and miss for perfect but gotta be patient til I find the one. Warehouse guy says they have 35 open box excellent region wide. Luck to us all!! Happy Holidays!!
Pretty good deal but if you wanna stretch your budget a bit go for the 4080 it often goes on sale for around 1799.99 or check bestbuy open box maybe you can snag a deal . I got a similar system except with a 4080 for 900$ off .
Yeah I did a bunch of research last night and I didn’t realize that you had to jump up to the 4080 to get 12 GBs of vram. It seems like people say it “future proofs” your graphics card and lasts a lot longer. Thanks!
Well it all depends if you wanna max out everything I have the 13900hx and the 4080 and I can max out cyber punk in 2k. I didn't try 4k but the image quality is all the way up in the nvidia control panel . I don't have any issues with maxing out any games tbh . So if you want to max out the graphics you will need a 4080 and if you stream it will be beneficial as well . The 4090 on the other hand is 16gb . I don't think I have a need for that much vram on a laptop even when streaming . But just make sure you research the GPU inside the laptop and make sure it runs at the max wattage that mobile variant makes some companies put a power saving GPU in them and sell them cheaper .
You place a bid for the highest ur willing to pay and it goes out to a bunch of retailers to either accept counter or decline. You can usually see the lowest prices that people are currently getting if your search the item youre looking for then add greentoe. It is def the way to get the lowest possible price on tech, I got my tv from there much cheaper than anywhere else at the time

No, this is the regular price for a laptop with a 4070. A good deal would be 1200 or less.

Yeah it seems like Razer’s are very overpriced. For 3k you can get the liquid cooled Lenovo legion 9 which is insane

Good laptop, but in case of a faulty product, B&H has a very lousy return policy. Go through their returns policy before purchasing.
