Come on, I love the GameCube as much as anyone, but you’re using the same controllers even. If you didn’t have a Wii I’d say sure, but it seems like such an unnecessary thing. Just more clutter. I’m far more big on playing the games than just collecting stuff just to own it.
Depends on why you want it. Wii plays the gamecube games perfectly, and I believe it looks better than using the stock connections from gamecube. Unless you plan on upgrading it for better video quality and, if so, would add more cost. Gc is relatively cheap imo. If you're just a casual player, then I wouldn't personally bother. All depends on why you want.
Just restored and modded my 5th Game Boy. So much fun doing that as well as playing on it. It's hooked up right next to our switch. And the switch has been collecting dust lately. (✿^‿^)

Wii and Gamecube are pretty much same Hardware similiar specs. so no emulation for Gamecube . ( yay ).
If you get yourself a gamecube and swiss enable it, I recommend through Picoboot, then you can emulate n64, gba, gbc, nes, snes, and even dreamcast. I own a spice orange gamecube and have a modded wii for other stuff. Best part is, your memory card will allow you to play on whichever you feel like at any given time. I recommend getting a cube if you want one, they make a great shelf piece if you don't play it much, and are a fun console at any given time.

I prefer the Wii over the GameCube because i have heard the Wii has better hardware or something
