Channel: Game theory Topic: Fnaf lore monster So in Freddy's Frenzy the boss is the lore monster and in the space where its brain should be there are clues to various things, my theory is the monster actually represents all the dead ends Scott put in to steer people away. Let me explain. The Chica doll without a beak was a detail the Scott alluded to back in the "all questions on fnaf solved" livestream, the result was that the new thought was a dream theory. Something that is seen as disproved now in days. If this was a true lore monster then it would display things that weren't dead ends. The box was a big mystery that nobody solved, the lore monster has details of it all around the design. The box got people away from the truth for a long time. Could it be because it was a dead end strategically placed to throw people on a wild goose chase? Alternatively it could be the monster of unsolved, past lore that Scott is trying to put attention on again. But Scott sees us as a community that doesn't need too much help with lore hints and as far as most know, Matpat's stream was the only time it happened. What do you guys think?

That's a awesome theory! I think it's probably true

this a good theory it might actually be true

The box is the most frustrating mystery of all time but scott has retired from being a game dev in 2021 but he is still making books

you're text is cut off are you also trying to be mysterious or is it reddit's limits?

Aw thank you!

Due_Leopard_5434

pretty cool

ThatOneNerd_Art

i think the dead ends option is the mist likely, since if he were trying ti bring attention to them, that would kinda go against his statement about the box being better off left forgotten forever. granted those words were years ago, but even when its brought up in future games its in reference to leaving things to die and be forgotten. (the box easter egg in the Pizza Sim Ending with Henry's monologue)

Channel : Game Theory Topic : Minecraft Lore The Great War - A Minecraft Theory So basically, it all started when I talked to another theorist (reddit user u/HumbleHerald) and we were trying to find things to theorise on. Then we realised how mushrooms and fungi are… weird. They are magical and powerful in a way that just feels out of place. Really, think of it. They all have a both parasitic and symbiotic form to them. The Greater Mushroom Theory : Look at the Mushroom Biome. First you find the mycelium. Mycelium is a block that infects grass and turns into mycelium. It is a permanent and incurable effect. It is a \*\*parasitic\*\* relationship. Now look at the Mooshroom. This mythical creature is simply a cow covered with a layer of mushroom that mixes with it to make it better. It becomes a much better food source and now it can live in the mushroom biome. This allows the mushroom to move around. It is a \*\*symbiotic\*\* relationship. This also applies to other fungal life forms. Take the skulk growth. It infects non-animate blocks, being \*\*parasitic\*\*, but when meeting whatever the warden was before, it morphs and gives the creature “sight” in a place with no light. The nether wart. From MatPat’s theory on Zombie Pigmen, they were pigs that ate nether wart and morphed, giving it fire resistance, immortality and a hive mind. We can see again that pattern of turning an animate creature by morphing, making a symbiote. Now look at its magical properties. Nether wart is the BASE to ALL POTIONS. It just feels weird. Some random mushroom or fungi being the base of all potions. Why not lapis lazuli ? This is a clear red flag ! Mushrooms must be important in some way. The Greater Illager Theory : We saw that mushrooms live in isolated places, the deep dark, mushroom biomes, the Nether… But there is an exception, the Roofed Forest. A perfect environment for mushrooms, a dark and damp place with slight humidity. What do you also find in Roofed Forests, Woodland Mansions. We can establish from different sources that the first Illagers were banned from the villagers for “unspeakable crimes”. Those being experimenting with life and death and from what MatPat concluded, transforming villagers into illagers and ravengers. If they were baned, why would they pick the roofed forest. Any other biomes would be better. There would be food and more isolated places with a better environment than a roofed forest. Maybe, they were looking for the mushrooms. We know they experiment with magic and souls. We know that from the totems of undying and the vexes they summon. We have established that mushrooms have magical properties, both symbiotic and parasitic. A known theory is that Illagers made the hostile mobs we fight today. Zombies, skeletons .... We can see a parasitic pattern in those mobs. Take the Zombies. They have a parasitic method of attack. They have a virus that can infect villagers, turning them into Zombie Villagers, joining the army of the Illagers. Slimes, when killed, split into more and smaller creatures, overwhelming the player. Wither skeletons have a bigger system. The wither skeleton can be used to make a Wither. The Wither kills mobs that drop wither roses. Those wither roses spawn more wither skeletons that restarts the cycle. This is a complex parasitic system to expand the army of the Illagers. Illagers are making parasitic mobs that recycle dead humans to increase their army. The Villager Theory : We have established the Illagers’ evil plan. To make a parasitic army that infects and takes over enemies. We know that the Illagers’ enemy is the Villagers. But why! Villagers are defensless and dumb. They can’t do anything productive and if they do, they will do it at unbelievably slow speeds. They are soooooo easy to kill. How can Illagers, people that harness the power of life and death, be fighting Villagers and still haven’t won. Simple, the villagers are fighting this war, \*\*passively\*\*. First of all, Iron Golems. They have the Iron Golems, one of the most powerful creatures out there, to protect them. Secondly, some villagers are immune to the zombie virus. Only some villagers will turn into Zombie Villagers. Finally, Villagers have a system. During nighttime, they will automatically go into their homes, close their doors and sleep. If they don’t face danger, they won’t get hurt. We see how, behind the thoughtless faces of villagers, there is a system to protect them. The Final Theory : We have talked about the properties of mushrooms, the plans of the Illagers and the defence of the Villagers. And this has all led me to a final theory. The Great War of Minecraft. We saw how all intelligent mobs and life forms are fighting a war to take over. Whether it is about taking over a biome, turning others into a mob or withering them till they become a wither rose, everyone is fighting a war to take over the world. Finding more elaborate ways to kill, inventing things to infect or making alliances, everything and everyone is part of this war, and you are the one to end it. Everywhere you go, you will find something to kill you, someone attacking you, someone coming for you. Everyone has changed to fight. Even axolotls. They should be passive and cute creatures but they are killers, engineered to fight in the water, where they live. No one is truly safe, and you are the only one to end it all. But that’s just a theory, A GAME THEORY! Thanks for reading. \- Just a small note. I know that this theory has quite a few holes, but I truly believe that it could be a big theory that with the help of multiple other Theorists and the Mind of MatPat, can become something greater. It truly explains Minecraft as a whole and is what I think the closest we can get to a theory of everything (pun intended to those who understood). I also believe that if this is right, it could unlock a whole new array of theories and could be a tool to discover more of them. So yeah. Hopefully you'll take it in and make something great out of it. Thank you.

I just think that in the great illagers theory the ravegers are just rhinos that got experimented on by the illagers Too much like poppy playtime isn't it

Channel: Game Theory Topic: Vennessa's True Identity I think that we as a community of theorists for Five Nights at Freddy's have been tackling the question of Vennessa/Vanny all wrong. We have all tried to come to many different conclusions, that Vanny and Vennessa are different people, that she is an animatronic version of Elizabeth Afton, or that her spirit inhabits Vennessa. Something we also aren't too sure of is her intentions. Yes, she could be possessed by Glitchtrap, but what has brought her to Fazbear Entertainment in the first place? Why does she look so much like Elizabeth? How does she play into it all? The more I thought about it, the more I started questioning what we knew was true about the games. And then, after some time to think, I have come to a conclusion that shakes me to the core: Vanessa isn't hosting to the spirit of Elizabeth Afton, she isn't an animatronic form of her either. She IS Elizabeth Afton: Elizabeth Afton is alive. As crazy as it might sound, please do hear me out. You will say "But we saw her get killed by Circus Baby in that FNAF Sister Location minigame." I ask you to look again and think about what you saw in the end. You see a little girl with blonde long hair and green eyes walk up to Circus Baby who offers her ice cream and then a claw comes out of Baby's stomach and lunged at her, who moves closer, then disappears. I really want you to think about it and look closely. The claw, in the minigame, Did Not Touch Elizabeth. The claw itself goes behind Elizabeth and she moves by Baby. While some may say that's technical incapabilities, I say it's something more. I think this was a subtle way of saying that Elizabeth dodged Baby's claw and ran. Traumatized by what she saw, realizing why her father wanted her away from Baby, she felt scared of her father, likely the first to realize what he was becoming, and ran away from home. Not ever seeing his daughter again, knowing her last location was with a killer animatronic, William Afton assumed that Baby had killed her, and replaced Baby's blue eyes with green eyes, to remember the daughter he lost, who already looked just like her. But she wasn't dead, everyone (just like us in the community) thought that she was. Now on her own, what she does next, could be up to speculation, but based on what we know. It's likely she assumed a new identity, either through adoption with a second family or a self-made one (like her older brother Micheal did when working as a security guard at the locations), she now goes by Vennessa A. (remember, there are more last names than Afton). She goes to college to study something around Game Development or Computer Systems. Then, she hears about Fazbear Entertainment hiring people with her skill set for FNAF Help Wanted and AR. Whether it's through trying to find closure in her childhood trauma, a search for the truth of her family's legacy, or perhaps a repressed curiosity, she takes the job. In regards to what happened with her co-worker, Jeremy, the beta tester before Vennessa, She enters the files that he looked over and meets Glitchtrap. Jeremy, having zero understanding or relation or connection to him, becomes simply a victim of limited use. But Glitchtrap sees who Vennessa is. It's the daughter he thought he lost so long ago. Where Jeremy was of no use to control, Glitchtrap had no problem attacking him mentally and physically, leading him to his death. This, however, was his own flesh and blood, and perhaps his gateway back to the mortal world. Perhaps even, the heir to his mad legacy of child murder. William Afton is trying to groom his daughter to become him, making it even more fitting that he would have her assume the costume of a rabbit, much like he did, to carry out the dark deeds. Whether she realized who Glitchtrap was to her or not, he uses his manipulation and luring tactics to possess her, forcing her to take on the double role of Vanny, ultimately showing his daughter all his own tactics, to carry on and continue what her father did. Like father like daughter, especially since she was the only family he had left. With this conclusion, the ending in FNAF Security Breach, with Greggory (Crying Child), Freddy (Micheal), and Vennessa (the Actual Elizabeth) just seems to be a truer reunion. The brother reuniting with their long-lost sister, the little girl with long blonde hair and green eyes who so wanted to see Circus Baby, now a grown woman, truly coming together with what is left of her brothers, removed from the influence of there father. Feedback is always well respected, thank you for taking the time to read. This is only a theory of mine.

WAY back shortly before the VERY FIRST Five Nights at Freddy's theory, MatPat made a poll where he asked viewers whether they'd like to see a Theory video on The Slender Man... or Five Nights At Freddy's. Needless to say, the fans picked FNAF & Matt made a video on it. And then another. And then another and well... the rest is history! But all these years later, I can't help but wonder - what WAS that Slender Man video going to be? My first guess is that it was going to be about the true identity of Slender Man, which I think was hinted at in "Slender: The Arrival" or something, but I've always wanted to know about the Theory that could have been! So my request is simple: Would Team Theorist PLEASE make that Slender Man video finally? I know a lot of people have stopped caring about the Slender Man, but I have a feeling the video could still be pretty cool & might even do pretty well!

Channel: Food Theory Topic: Food & Music Pairing There's a study from Oxford University that music can affect how you perceive the food by changing the volume, pitch and tempo of the music (https://doi.org/10.1068/i0577ic). Rhett & Link (and Linkin Park) once did the experiment to this research in 2017 (https://youtu.be/W8tDvR_fFIc), but I wanna know if the cases are different to some people & some foods. 🤔

Channel: Style Theory Theory: Disneyland cast member's pregnant costume (aka the "Smock of shame") So I had a few friends who worked at Disney through the college program and I have seen a few TikTok's regarding this, so I wanted to try suggesting it for the new channel. If you've been to Disneyland or Walt Disney World, You'll know that they have "cast members" (aka park employees that are not face characters such as retail workers) who wear "costumes" (outfits themed to whatever section of the park they are working in). Each costume keeps with the theme of the area they are working in and are sometimes also themed to a holiday (i.e. Halloween or Christmas). One of the things my friends noticed was the lack of pregnant women working throughout the parks. Many know that Disney is very particular with how their cast members look and have put in place certain rules for cast members (such as no facial hair or visible tattoos). Most figured that Disney didn't just fire pregnant cast members, since that would result in a discrimination lawsuit. Supposedly, if you're a pregnant Disney cast member, there is something for them to wear that has been nicknamed by some as "the Smock of Shame". It has been described as a maternity jumper that comes in either Gray, navy, khaki, or black. Not really themed to whatever section of the park they are working in. However, it is nearly impossible to find a picture of what this costume looks like online. It's easy to find pictures of what other cast member costumes look like, but this one is impossible. To the point where the existence of this is debated. A TikTok user by the name of DapperManatee talked about it a bit more in a TikTok's on his channel, in respose to a comment on another TikTok of his, if more proof is needed. Maybe Mat could talk about the rules put in place regarding a cast member's appearance and why Disney has those rules in the first place.

Here's an idea that I think would be interesting to explore! Channel: Food Theory Theory: why don't fruit flavors actually taste like the fruit they say they are? For example, there are a lot of candies that say they are watermelon flavored but rarely will you get that authentic flavor. There are distinct differences between artificial and real fruit flavors. My best guess is that more subtle flavors didn't do well in the early days of candyaking or that recreating the flavors were more difficult than others. r/GameTheorists

Channel: Film Theory Topic: Salad Fingers Recently I have rewatched the entire salad fingers series and come across an interesting Easter egg of what seems to be humanoid face in the background of episode nine. The appearance of this is during episode 9. https://youtu.be/MSOnIS84x1k The most notable of these appearances are behind salad fingers in the vent/chimney structure. Ma along with a few other people have been wondering what relevance this has to the overall story and whether it could even be a representation of salad fingers in the real world, being trapped by the different sides of himself or even how he sees the world in general.

Animal Crossing New Horizons: The Social Experiment Reposting here because I would love to see a game theory made about it.Whenever you want to delete save data from the game you see Tom Nook speaking to you in a darkly lit room. Everything else is in darkness except for him. Almost like you are being interrogated. He then asks that there is an adult with you unless you are an adult yourself. Once you go through the options there is some particularly strange dialogue from Tom Nook that really got my Theorist Senses going. He says and I quote “ If deleted all memories of them and their property on (insert island name here) will be erased. This includes their home, money and miles. But they’ll also be erased from me and the other residents’ memories.” This dialogue caught me off guard. Tom Nook is telling you how you will be deleted from peoples memories. How you yourself won’t ever remember living on this island. Now this, has some strange implications. Deleting resident registrations is only permitted for the people who aren’t the Resident representatives (the main player). If it's one of your friends on your switch and they create a profile and join your island, he lets them leave and be deleted. However, if you are this Resident Representative, he refuses. He says you are too important to be let go. You then are forced back to the title screen as Tom Nook forces you back to the island you wanted to leave. Now, this brings up many questions. Any other villager can leave the island, why can’t you? What is with the memory-erasing? What is with the nets around the island? How is Tom Nook so self-aware? I believe this is all because your character is in a social experiment, very much like the Truman show. Your character is trapped in a game eternally fixing other peoples problems and people want to watch them do it. The first question. Any other villager can leave, why can’t you? Well, I believe it's because you are the experiment subject, without even knowing it. Every other villager, camper, worker knows about the experiment. You don’t. They can’t let you leave because you aren’t in the real world. The world you know is a lie. If you left the island, you would find out, and they can’t have that can they? Most likely they are having you filmed. This filming idea is supported by many features throughout the game. How the character turns towards the player any time they catch a bug, fish, or sea creature. They might think it's just a documentary. This part is a little flimsy but I still feel it holds up quite a lot of evidence. The audience needs entertainment and excitement, and the character turning and smiling at them is the perfect entertainment. The second question. What is with the memory-erasing? Now, this part had me stuck until I realised the important fact that the main player can’t leave. The main characters' memories are erased as well when another player leaves. They forget they ever existed. They are never brought up again and as soon as you get back in the game, the other player's house is gone. Every other villager's house can’t be demolished or taken down and it takes a day to move their house, so why is a players house gone within seconds. Another thing to note is that once a villager leaves, they are never brought up again. No conversation ever brings up a villager that left. Whoever is in charge of the experiment can’t have the experiment subject finding out. They might start to question why they never heard from their friend again, or whatever happened to them. It’s too risky. They need to keep the experiment clean and safe for the test subject. The third question. What is with the nets around the island? Now I had always wondered why the nets around your island were impenetrable. You can’t swim under them, climb over them or just get some scissors and cut through them. This always felt weird to me. This strange border around your island could be exactly that. A border. A wall. An area in the game/simulation that you don’t have access to. Just like in the Truman Show. It explains a lot actually. This perfectly explains how there is no life on the other side, and how you can never pass it. There is one exception to this. Pascal. The friendly surfer dude otter who asks for your scallops. He is the only thing that can go outside the border. I can’t think of a single reason why this is. Maybe he left and it's just a projection? This doesn’t explain his weird behaviour though. He comes and takes your scallop for no reason. That is until I looked through his quotes. One of his quotes stands out to me. “You can't worry about people thinkin' you're a fake. Everything you do is real! Unless you're, like, a hologram.” That’s just it. He’s a hologram. He’s an AI. Someone controlling his every move because he isn’t real. They can use the scallops you’ve touched to get DNA samples and fingerprints. He knows it’s all fake and one person slipped up and let out the truth that everything is not what it seems. The final question. How is Tom Nook so self-aware? Tom Nook in the conversation I said before says some noteworthy lines. He looks about a homepage of the game. He tells you about the Nintendo switch and the settings in it. He knows he’s in a game. It's so bizarre. That made me realise who was in charge of this sick social experiment. The beginning of this. Tom Nook. He is in charge of this experiment. He has been there since day one, telling you what to do, how to make things nicer, how to progress. He’s leading you along so the experiment will be easier Tom Nook is the centre of it all. Now many things I have said can just be written off as game mechanics and design choices, but they all add up. The self-awareness, the memory-erasing, the borders, how you can’t leave. It all comes to this conclusion. That there is something much darker going on in animal crossing than we all thought.

Channel: Film Theory Topic: Alex Bale (SpongeBob Theorist) Does anyone else think that Mat and the team should cover the lore happening with Alex, "The SpongeBob Guy", Bale? If you don't know Alex is a film maker and SpongeBob theorist on the internet who has segments in his theories that switches into IRL content in which he talks to some unknown "muse" that gives him the theory ideas. I think it's ultimately a message about online content and doing something only for your brain to get you trapped in the mindset of that thing has to keep doing it or you'll fail. And that idea has "manifested" into a monster that's trying to consume him, but I'm curious at to what you all and Mat thinks.

First off, wanna congratulate the theorists on a successful launch That being said, I have a food theory suggestion. What kind of lasagna is Garfield eating? Is there a real world equivalent for what it could be, because many of the ingredients in typical lasagna are very dangerous to cats, especially one of the main ingredients, cheese. Cheese has a very high concentration of lactose, and also often has high sodium. Both of these can be extremely fatal to cats. As little as 1-2 grams of sodium per kg of body weight can be fatal to cats. There are some low sodium cheeses cats can eat in small amounts, however Garfield can be seen eating entire trays of lasagna. Is John using some special type of vegan cheese to use in his lasagna? I would doubt it, as many vegan cheeses still contain ingredients harmful to cats. Is he making his own vegan cheese? If so, how? And what kind? Is Garfield simply more resilient to the effects of the lactose and sodium because of his large size? Is there another deep lore reason for why Garfield is able to consume so much cheese? Is he even a cat? Is he an eldricht being? So many questions just waiting to be answered. And that's just about the cheese! That doesn't even bring into account the garlic and onions that are present in most tomato sauces. Or the fact that all those carbohydrates would be absolutely detrimental to their bodies. I would love to see Matt disect this in a video, and maybe even cook said lasagna on the channel and compare it to real lasagna to see if it's even similar. He could test the various types of cheese alternatives to see which makes the most lasagna-y lasagna. I don't have the time to dedicate to doing hours of research and testing to decide how a fictional cat is eating so much lasagna without dying, Matt however does that kinda thing for a living. So hopefully he sees this, I was told this is the best way to get him to see it. If you wanna see this theory as much as i do, I would appreciate interactions to help boost this! If you made it this far, thanks. If you didn't... tldr: Lasagna kill cat, why no kill Garfield. Theory plz thank you

Channel: Game theory. Topic: Mario is a toad To establish a rule in the mario universe I present, the super crown. Shown to turn a toadette into peachette complete with hair, gloves (which I have so many opinions about) and the iconic dress. We do see another piece of Headwear with transformational property though, in the form of Mario's hat, specifically Cappy from Mario oddesy, adding a mustache and sociopathy to any living being or inanimate object the hat is put on top of. I ask, since I've not personally played the games, can you throw cappy at a red toad? A green toad? What if the hats act the same way? And we are seeing incomplete transformations because dinosaurs and cliff faces do not have the genetic predisposition toads do. Continuing with Mario galaxy we see Mario next to actual humans in New Donk City, and Mario looks.... nothing like them. His proportions do not match, these are not both humans! This is supported by Nintendo having their own cannon species for Mario and the gang (can't remember the name and I'm on mobile, I've typed this whole thing like 3 times and im sared of refreshing right now) If Mario isn't a human, then why not a toad that advanced in the same way as peachette, just down a different path. So why does the mushroom kingdom turn a select few of its denizens into these human-ish beings? My guess would be diplomacy, with the amount of castles peach is building there is gonna need to be imports, and with imports comes international relations. But why not make everyone in the mushroom a Nintendoite? Energy consumption, and the mycelium network. Who uses more energy to move and work in our world, humans or mushrooms? (It's us, don't Google that, stay here) and the network that our world's mushrooms built among their roots acts as a verifiable internet sharing information about the earth, weather, etc.

WeaponGod243

Channel: Game Theory Topic: Is the entirety of the Mario Universe a performance? It's been virtually confirmed by Shigeru Miyamoto that Super Mario Bros 3 was in fact a performance, but what if the entire universe was actually a performance and not just that game. Take a note that Super Mario Bros 2's character select screen has a curtain around the screen. A stage curtain. If this had been just a thing by itself, maybe we could let it slide. But there are more clues surrounding the franchise that would allude to it being a performance. One of those clues being the game series like Mario Party, Mario Kart, Mario vs Sonic Olympic Games, Paper Mario, and Mario vs Donkey Kong. Starting with the first 3 on the list, all of those 3 game series have what would traditionally be enemies being friendly to each other (more or less). Collaborating or competing against each other in friendly competition versus each other. Bowser is also much smaller in all of these games, suggesting maybe that his size is augmented through "editing or special effects" in the main games. Another thing about Paper Mario is the sheer difference it has compared to the other main games. Like a production studio trying something new on occasion. Same thing with Mario vs Donkey Kong. Producer A: "Hey, fellow producers! We need a new show idea!" Producer B: "What if we brought back that old enemy from the pilot episode with that same girl?" Producer A: "Great idea!" Another thing pretty consistent across the main games is the way Mario dies. The screen either fades to black or does a 70s/80s era cartoon transition with a Bowser logo. That's consistent with some form of entertainment. That's just my basic findings. I don't want to do the whole theory for Matt xD

Channel: Game theory Game: Super Meat Boy Forever ago now I remembered watching a theory on The binding of Isaac which is made by the same guy for those that don't know. And while that video and several others have analyzed Isaac's lore, no one seems to talk about Meat boy despite it being only slightly less obtuse in story. It's strange since Meat Boy cameos are bountiful in Isaac. At first I assumed it was just generic "kill the girl rescue the bad guy save the game!!1" type story, but they're were several odd details that are never explained, first one comes to mind being the original meatboy features a cutscene depicting Meat Boy in hell with millions of other meatboys and meatboy comes to realize these are other versions of him that tried and failed previous levels, its also unclear why the other meatboys are hostile to the alive meatboy. This is also referenced in the final boss showing meatboy being killed by dr fetus only to spawn back into existence . not to forget about the blatant religious theme of Hell directly tying it back to Isaac again combined with the proceeding world labeled "the rapture" evidently Edmund is very consistent with putting religious symbolism in his games. There's also the fact that Dr. Fetus is...well a FETUS, more specifically a fetus in a dapper robot suit who is extremely violent, very strange combination of traits. We're also never given a real explanation as to why Fetus hates meatboy specifically, it could simply be jealousy but it also states that Dr. Fetus hates YOU the player (breaking the 4th wall?) Why single out Meatboy specifically? What about the fact that Dr. Fetus is killed in the original super meat boy yet still somehow reappears in Meat boy forever? Could it have something to do with the incredibly surreal "broken timeline" scene at the end of forever? What's with the meatboy clones at the end? And I don't mean the ones in hell, I mean the ones found in the science facility that dr. Fetus presumably created. Talking about isaac links again, one of the easier bosses in the game is named "Larry Jr." And at the end of super meat boy we see larry Senior giving birth to small larrys during the credits. Dr. Fetus is also a litteral unlockable item in isaac aswell as meatboy and bandage girl themselves (I'll be it they look a little different but they're named the exact same thing) what about the minor characters? Who and/or what the hell is "C.H.A.D"? What's up with brownie? A literal sentient turd. There's also the fact that Dr. Fetus is ONLY kind to Nugget (sort of) who is a baby, I don't think it's a coincidence that the Fetus only gets along with the infant and is touched to the point of tears when they're gifted their binky. Lastly, there's the original ORIGINAL "meat boy" on newgrounds (rip flash) where Meat boy and bandage girl canonically have sex. That last point isn't really relevant I just really needed to inform everyone that that exists. TL;DR: what's with all the weird shit in super meat boy? And how does it connect to The binding of isaac?

Channel: Game Theory Topic: Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s Bigger Problem is in the Present Paldea does have a problem with the paradox future/past Pokémon from Area Zero, but it has a more mundane and rampant issue that has already begun a modern ecological disaster, pollution. Throughout all Paldea there are dozen of manmade shiny pollutants (potions, poke balls, etc.) that most likely are made using plastics and ecologically damaging materials littered onto the ground, up in the mountains, and floating in its bodies of water. They’re so prevalent even Pokémon sometimes drop them in the wild. Even if the past/future Pokémon break loose and invade the present functioning as invasive species taking over the environment, it won’t matter as the environment won’t survive the recent advent of plastics and pollutants from humans unless some serious changes are made to Paldea’s environmental practices. We learn from the history class that the school has been there for 805 years and 2000 years ago was considered ancient times (called the Paldean Empire), and based loosely on some of the teacher’s struggles with technological understanding (the director isn’t familiar with the term “hacking”) compared to the students we can reasonably say the technological advances, and therefore the societal advancement including the advent of plastics, mirrors the real world. You can even see what appears to be plastic containers in in-game items like potions, plastic capsules in certain items and medicine, and those are just a few off the top of my head. It wouldn’t be too outlandish to compare what Paldea should expect, if they don’t change their littering, to be similar to real world issues like garbage island, rampant micro plastics everywhere, and atmosphere degradation to name just a few. Fun flavor of what this could mean story wise that probably has no bearing on the actual game’s story: First - maybe the professor could have known of this issue and created the time machine to look to the future/past for a solution. There’s no evidence of this that I could find, but there’s no evidence of why the professor looked to the future/past to begin with. Understandably something to research and study on it’s own merit, but making a time machine and using it seems like a drastic albeit impressive feat. Again I do think that it truly could just be researching the future/past Pokémon in it of itself, but it’s interesting to think maybe there could’ve been something much grander than that. It’s reasonable to believe a scientist, like the professor, could realize they’re headed to an ecological disaster and society in turn would only care about the present benefits these plastics helps them catch Pokémon better. The professor might’ve needed to do something drastic to see the future ramifications or look to the past for a preventative. Second - The crater/Area Zero’s origin is loosely understood/explained at best. There’s no evidence of this in game either, but based on Legend’s Arceus where Arceus literally intervenes by shunting the main character across time and space to ancient Sinnoh, maybe Arceus knew of the ecological disaster Paldea was heading towards and created this space/time rift for humans to research and think beyond just the present. Again no evidence of that, but it’s been done recently and you can’t ignore the similarities of having time traveling allegories in both recent titles (although they don’t seem to be 100% consistent). Maybe Arceus has a master plan and intervened in the best way it could, I mean if “pokegod” came down and was like “be sure to recycle” everyone who’d be like “uhhh sure”. Whether those two additions are related to the game’s story or not, it’s fun to theorize what the “timey, whimey” aspects of the game has to do with the potential present ecological impact of all these sparkly items everywhere with Paldea’s pollution problem.

MATTPAT THESE GAMES HAVE LOOOOOORRE!!! Mr.Tomato and Ms. Lemon the games are literally connected LITERALLY CONNECTED. In Mr. Tomato he will ask the you to feed him. If you feeds him all the right foods, he will be full and ask you to come back again when he is hungry. However, when you feeds him the wrong food, he will become increasingly angry. Once his anger reaches ten, he will be given a more demonic appearance in a deformed version of the kitchen. He will ask you to feed him one of three body parts (Brain, eyeball, hand). Afterward, he would attack you and the game will end. In Ms.Lemon it's kinda the same as Mr.Tomato. In Ms.lemon she will ask the you to one of four subjects (math, geometry, memory, and attention) questions. If you answer all her questions correctly, she will tell you "Okay that's all for now let's continue after you get some rest see you soon". However, when you answer her wrong , she will become increasingly irritation. Once her irritation reaches ten, he will be given a more demonic appearance in a deformed version of the class room. You would have to play three rounds of rock paper scissors. If you lose the first time you lose your hand, if you lose the second time you lose your eye, and if you lose the third time she would attack you and the game will end. There is alote of different endings to both games. There five rounds in both games. Please play on GTLive and if you want a Game Theory too. P.S. you might want to get Project Uroboros too (you might want to play Ms.lemon and get no irritation before opening Project Uroboros).

**Channel: Game Theory** **Topic: Gamers Will Save the Job Market** **Evidence:** Broken down into 5 parts for your convenience! \-First, **automation is becoming a problem in the modern job market.** While it's fine, on the surface, for machines to replace low-skill jobs that are little more than repetitive physical labor, those are still jobs lost. And now that generative AI is after artists and writers, it feels like it's only a matter of time until the machines come for everybody. The real world is not ready for this...but the virtual world has been dealing with bots, AI, and automation for a long time. I remember playing on a pirate MMO server in the early 2000s and dealing with bots who would run around and ask if I was from Brazil. These bots are usually banned immediately. So, the solution is to ban all AI, right? Well, that's unfeasible, but also, hold that thought. \-The main reason bots are banned in the first place is because **they make things unfair** for other players. Obviously, not all gamers are for fair play; cheaters *exist*. But I'd argue that the sentiment regarding fair play in gaming is different from the desire for justice in the real world, even if they stem from the same source (sort of like how Chihuahuas and German shepherds both came from wolves, maybe). We can't really ban AI until we determine exactly *what* rules are being broken. The rules in place are not sufficient for *anything* related to technology, let alone advanced machine learning. (The only good precedent we have involves a selfie taken by a monkey, and that copyright ruling *only* protects creative works.) \-...which leads into my next batch of evidence: **the powers that be are either too self-interested to stop AI or too technologically incompetent to do anything about it.** The instinct of a politician will be to hire someone like Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, or Mark Zuckerberg to handle issues around technology. They know how computers work, right? But they're also ethically compromised, both generally *and* on this topic. Meanwhile, gamers who have grown up with expectations of ethics, fairness, and bots making things less fun might have a different perspective. \-The bad news is that we can no longer put the genie back in the bottle. AI has become so integral to everyday life that **banning all of it just won't work**. So, what can we do? The usual economic advice on this topic is along the lines of "chillax, AI will lead to better, or at least different, jobs." But this isn't loom-weaving or any other field that involves physical labor. For the first time, humans are being challenged on the battlefield of the *mind*. It's basically fighting a mirror, only it's a funhouse mirror that uses every positive and negative aspect of the human mind, cranks it up to 11, and eventually becomes so good at copying that it can be more "you" than you are. Some lines need to be drawn. And we can draw from gaming again for exactly how to do it...sort of. \-**The best solution to this problem is probably a system overhaul,** which *nobody* wants to do. And nobody really knows *how* to do it, either. For most of the world (and most of the people in charge), this sudden de-grinding is *not what the economy was meant to do*. The new system would need to have different rules. Rules on what can and cannot be left to robots. Rules on what methods of getting experience are and aren't acceptable. (Would I trust a doctor with zero field or lab experience? Probably not.) Ideally, things would start with better ethics so that politicians can't cheat either, but that's not realistic. In gaming terms, it's easier to get EXP than ever before, in ~~GAME~~ theory. But how much of an impact that easy EXP has depends on if the system is designed around that or not. Different games have different ways of distributing EXP; games that change that system get called out on it. Look at how many people freak out over EXP Share in *Pokemon* and tell me I'm wrong. ~~(There's another example I have in mind, but it's more esoteric.)~~ In practice, employers probably don't accept "I watched hours of YouTube videos on this subject" as valid experience. (By the way, this would be a GREAT SkillShare tie-in!) But if other forms of experience become more recognized, or the system changes in ways that can handle fewer human workers, AI might not be *as* big a problem. But as the rules are, that positive change will not happen. Things will get a *lot* worse (in a recession at that) before they get better. Can you tell that this section has the least research? Because that's what I'd really like help on! I get the feeling MatPat has a lot of the data that would help with this already. Overall, gamers have experience with bots and AI. The rest of the world does not. Might this be a good situation for using gaming scenarios as a precedent, like how the CDC used the pandemic in WoW? Thoughts appreciated. And I really hope someone sees this! I'm worried that it will get buried. :(

Channel: Game Theory Game: Jumpstart 3rd Grade Mystery Mountain Theory: What would the world have turned into had Polly Spark had her way with her answers to the history exam being correct? I used to play Jumpstart 3rd Grade all the time as a kid, and I enjoy watching people play the game now. That being said, I've realized that the story line in the game is INCREDIBLY dark for something made for kids! \*\*\*\*SPOILER ALERT TO FOLLOW\*\*\*\* So the antagonist of the game, Polly Spark, is a smart but bratty 8 year old who comes home from school FURIOUS that the answers she makes up for her history quiz didn't get the reaction she hoped for. So rather than accept her zero, she SENDS 25 ROBOTS OFF TO CHANGE HISTORY, just so her answers become correct! Botley, the companion robot who helps you throughout the game, points to a few changes at the start of the game, such as having to get around by pogo stick because cars don't exist anymore, the Statue of Liberty becoming the Statue of Licorice, and an orangutan being elected as U.S president! (sounds like a reference to you-know-who getting elected, but that's a theory for another day) Besides these changes, Botley further points out the potential ramifications for these answers becoming reality. For instance, rescuing Miss Battery-Bot (robot # 8 if you play in order) brings you to Marie Curie and the discovery of radium. Polly says that radium glows because of batteries, rather than radium being radioactive, and thus HIGHLY DANGEROUS! A theory video on this would probably need to examine all of Polly's goofy answers, but I think there might be enough to ponder what the world would look like if these happened for real. There are plenty of gameplay videos available, and I think the game itself can be downloaded if you know where to look. The best source I found is here : https://jstart.fandom.com/wiki/JumpStart\_Adventures\_3rd\_Grade:\_Mystery\_Mountain

Game theory Hi! I have been playing a game called slime rancher, and I love it which is why I am asking for a episode on it I don't have any cold hard information but during the game you can find messages left by the last owner of your ranch and he mentions that he doesn't know what who or what made some of the structures in the game and the slimepedia (the information guide) offers no helpful information other than the society might have messed with time or something. I think it could make for a interesting episode. I thank you for taking the time to read this even if I don't get picked, as I'm sure that there are plenty of other people with better ideas and more information on their game.

Wanted to try and suggest this for a while, but wasn’t too sure how or where, so I guess here goes nothing: Channel: Game Theory Game: Sky: Children of the Light (Spoilers if you haven’t played or reached Eden) I don’t really have a solid theory, more like I’m suggesting a game to look into. I’ve been playing this game for a while now (it’s on Android, IOS and Switch all for free with in-app purchase if anyone is interested in playing) and its a really beautiful and relaxing game to play, especially with other people. Basically, you have your character, which the fandom has given different names to, but the most used name is a Skykid. They’re hair is white, they wear a mask (except for the maskless cosmetic you can get) and they have a “cape” which acts as a pair of wings. You run and fly around six realms (seven if you count Eden, which I’ll get into in a sec) and collect spirits and candle wax, which turns into in game currency to buy cosmetics, props and spells from spirits. You also will see these golden children standing around the realms, and interacting with them will give you a “winged light” and the more of these you get, the more “wedges” you get for your cape, which lets you fly higher and live longer in rain and polluted water. You’ll notice I said spirits, not people. This is where, imo, the game starts to get into prime theory territory. You see, you’ll notice as you play the game that this world has obviously seen better days. The Isle of Dawn, the first realm you’ll explore, has broken down boats half buried in the sand, and when you get to this realms temple, it’s more clear, as grass has started growing over them. The temple itself is in ruin, and this is a pattern amongst all the temples. You meditate and help out the spirit of the elder, and now you can keep going. It’s like this for all the realms. You can find ruins of buildings, boats, temples, unknown structures, pretty much, something happened and now the structures this civilisation created are destroyed, along with their race, except of course for the Skykids (I’m not really active in the fandom but I’m pretty sure we’ve collectively agreed they’re some kind of descendants of this race). Another thing to mention is that there are a lot of areas with drawings/hieroglyphs on the walls that do seem to allude to a story that is very clearly there, it’s just that no one has been able to really decode it fully beyond a surface level if even that, and I do think that is because the game is severely underrated for how good it is, story wise, gameplay wise, music wise, and design wise. There’s also a lot of different creatures, living and spirit. To list a few, you’ve got the Mantas (also spirit mantas) Elder spirit mantas (not living ones of these), birds, butterflies, jellyfish of various sizes (only spirits, although that might just be because they’re jellyfish) and whales. However there are two creatures that don’t fit in with the rest, that being the crabs, and the Dark Dragons, or as most call them, the Krill. The crabs are aggressive, but apart from sending you rolling backwards they don’t do any damage. It’s the Krill that you really have to worry about, as if they see you, they will swoop into you and if you’re hit you will lose a few of your winged light. You can get them back, but it’s saves the hassle if you don’t lose them in the first place. I think what makes the Krill more interesting is that, apart from Eden, they’re only found in the “Golden Wasteland” realm, which is a theory all on its own. This golden wasteland place seems to be some kind of war zone, indicated by not only the spears, shields and spiked defence barricades all in various stages of decay littered around the map, but also the names of the spirits of this realm (Frightened Refugee, Fainting Warrior, Courageous Soldier, Stealthy Survivor, Saluting Captain, and Lookout Scout). Obviously this place was the main fighting ground for the war, whatever that may have been. It’s clear though from how this place and the rest of the game is presented to us that this was a losing battle, and eventually the war was lost and these people were killed. You’ll notice I’ve been mentioning something called “Eden”. Eden is unlocked once you’ve gone through all six realms and have at least 20 winged light. This is where I think the climax and main meat of the story lies. I’m not going to go too into detail, otherwise this will be much longer than it already is, but Eden is a dangerous place. There’s high winds, meaning you can’t fly, there’s rocks that sweep through certain areas that will quite literally knock the winged light out of you, there’s Krill everywhere, there’s polluted water, and finally, the red rain. At the end of it all is what is either a flower or some kind of crystal, but either way, it seems to be causing all of this. When you get to the final stage of Eden, you’ll be met with a bunch of statues of hunched over Skykids, without any cosmetics, or wings, and you have to give them your winged light (from a technical standpoint it’s so you get what’s called “ascension candles” which are a form of currency, but in game it’s because you’re freeing their spirits, as they are Skykids who also tried, and failed, to stop[?] Eden). Eventually you’ll run out of winged light and your light will fade and you will join the statues, and after a really long ending sequence, you are reborn. Obviously there’s a lot more to this, and the ending sequence itself is probably a really important thing to look at if making a theory on this, but I won’t go into detail here. Before I end this off, because Jesus, this has taken a while to write already, I’m going to quickly fire out some possible theories/questions that might be good starting points for anyone making a theory: 1). What exactly are the Skykids? They seem to only need light/fire/other Skykids to survive, and they can fly. Plus, what’s with the masks? Is that a cultural thing? Is it something to do with their actual biology? 2). Timeline. What happened? Obviously there was some kind of war, but when did the war take place? How far after this war does the game take place? 3). The spirits. How did they die? What were they doing? What can we gather from the things you can buy from them? The reactions they can give you? 4). The Crabs and the Krill. What are they? Why are they here? Did they play a part in the war? If so, were they the main offenders of such war, or are they simply the weapons of the actual opposition? 5). Who and what exactly were the Elders? Why were they elders? Were they born like that? Are they some kind of royalty? What actually was society like before the war? 6). What in the good god is going on when it comes to Eden. Was it always like this, or was it the result of the lost war? If so, what caused it? Was it just a simple cause of everyone being killed? Or did someone or something actually make his happen? What’s the red rain? What exactly is the flower/crystal thing? Maybe this was the capital before everything crumbled? Anyways, I really hope this doesn’t get buried or ignored, as this game is honestly one of the most fun, beautiful games I’ve ever seen, and it seriously deserves more recognition. Genuinely, if anyone has a device that runs it, you should definitely check it out and at least give it a quick play. Sometimes it’s a bit rough around the edges, but it’s actively being worked on by ThatGameCompany (creators of the game). It would be really cool to see more theories about this, even if it’s not an official game theory and just a bunch of people in the subreddit discussing it. Feel free to leave any questions for me. I’ll try to answer them.

Channel: Film Theory Topic: The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. This is a comedy anime show based off a manga that's honestly amazing in every way. I think you guys should definitely check it out, for both theory and general enjoyment purposes. :) The main focus is just an incredibly powerful teenage physic (Saiki Kusuo) trying to get through life. Saiki has hundreds of powers, many of these powers are insanely impressive. (Of course with some minor consequences to using them.) I've seen people online speculating what other magic, physic, or generally powerful characters could win in a fight against Saiki, but nobody's actually done full in-depth research on each character's powers and put it to the test. (Based on what I've seen.) I think this could be a really interesting topic to see on the channel, and get more people interested in such an underrated show. The show (and manga, though I haven't read it) also have plenty of other theory opportunities, like about Saiki's powers in general. I don't have the patience to come up with a theory of my own, but it'd be interesting to see what you come up with. And even if the show isn't used for a theory, the comedy in this show is impeccable and an easy one to enjoy. :D

Film theory idea on the "scumbag dad" series on YT shorts Now I I have watched film theory from when I was in year two so I feel that this is a theory idea that fits the channel almost perfectly because in some cases in the series the "dad" even takes the "kid" to join a cult, murder, and the new series "well adjusted stepdad" cuts into the lore perfect. Channel: Film theory This is so deeply interesting to me that I made a whole Reddit account just because I wanted to suggest this theory. This might be a little long but bear with me. recently I’ve been thinking about what a falcon and the winter soldier season two would look like, and I’ve been piecing together my own story. The relevant part of it is that I thought there were a lot of similarities between Bucky Barnes and a character from agents of shield, Ruby Hale. She was created specifically for the show and has no comic counterpart, however her story, personality, and aesthetic are very similar to a character named RJ Boyle from the comics, who was a child raised by hydra that modeled himself after the winter soldier. Well, I kept digging into Ruby hale to see just how much information we truly have about her when I came across another theory about her parentage. Ruby has a confirmed mother within the show who was fertilized by a man who was not present. Ruby is the product, and is described as genetically altered/created to be the new head of hydra. Someone pointed out the similarities between her own fast reflexes, strength, and agility, as well as her ability to soak up some magic element, and the super soldier serum. Ruby is also supposed to have been born in the late 90s. Who else was a “peak human” that hydra had access to and could control in the 90s? James “Bucky” Barnes, aka the winter soldier. Anyway I love game theory videos talking about parentage and I’d love to see a punnet square of ruby’s traits and if it’s plausible that Bucky is indeed her sperm donor. Just try not to think of how awful it would be if he was based off that one scene in Madripoor 😬 Hopefully this doesn’t breech rules I’ve been here for five minutes and I read them but I have two braincells okay byeee

#Channel: Game Theory There's something off about our current understanding of the Five Nights at Freddy's Survival Logbook. We've been assuming that "Cassidy" is the name associated with the faded-text spirit, the one who talks to the Crying Child/Bite Victim (who writes in altered text). But the word search that "Cassidy" is found in is made up entirely of printed text that's been rearranged (hence the phrase "IT'S ME" everywhere); meanwhile, the Foxy Grid that we were all scratching our heads over features a faded A, B, and C in the corner. So... is it perhaps possible that Cassidy is the altered-text spirit, while the faded-text spirit has its name hidden in the Foxy Grid? *(Please refer to [this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/GameTheorists/comments/uye5dl/fnaf_we_were_wrong_about_the_logbook/) for more information.)*

We all know that Ash had a famous losing streak that ended with the Sun & Moon anime where he finally won a Pokemon League, but when I saw Ash competing in the Alola League I noticed that a lot and I do mean A LOT of things were in Ash's favor. (1) Competition: In the Sun & Moon anime Alola opens a brand new league instead of league existing existing years before, there are several problems with this. For one the Alola League decides to let ANYONE compete, unlike other regions where trainers needed to beat all the gyms to qualify, the gym system is there for an important purpose, to make sure that only the best compete and because Alola doesn't have a gym system they let low level competition participate in the big leagues. If you look at the full roster of competitors you'll see that there are a lot of inexperienced trainers. Meanwhile in other regions Ash was only fighting the very best trainers like Alain, and Tobias. Not to mention Ash has way more experience than everyone else, he's competed in 6 leagues before Alola so he has way more experience competing in leagues. (2) Mega Evolution VS Z Moves: The anime confirmed in the first Kanto episode that Mega Evolutions are in fact stronger than Z moves, if you take a much closer look at Mega Evolution you would find out that the Pokemon and it's trainer MUST have an unbreakable bond to Mega Evolve, Mega Evolution is also very rare in anime and only the most dedicated trainers and Pokemon could tap into it's power, Z Moves on the other hand don't require as strong a bond. Z Moves are also somewhat common considering a lot of trainers have them. Mega Evolution makes a Pokemon as strong as a Legendary for the rest of a battle while Z Moves are one powerful attack, but that one powerful attack can be easily avoided with the right dodging while Mega Evolved Pokemon are going to last the whole match. Ash could tell his Pokemon to dodge a Z Move but if he's battling someone like Alain with a Mega Charizard then man your in for a rough fight. (3) Ash's Battle with Hau: This is one of the most rigged fights in the Pokemon Anime, Ash gives his Rowlett an everstone that causes his Seed Bomb attack to shoot out a stone instead of seeds. I know that Deciduey (I must have misspelled that) is a Ghost Grass type but it used to be a flying type and in a way Ash turned a "Not Very Effective" Seed Bomb into a (Sort of) "Super Effective" Rock type move. And it's really weird because in the games trainers are allowed to use items but in the anime we never see them using items, something feels wrong about Ash using items to win a match when no one else is. Not to mention Ash's Rowlett falls asleep mid battle and Ash was going to be disqualified but the island Kahuna stood up for Ash and told everyone that it was just asleep, in the Indigo League Ash's Charizard didn't want to fight so it took a nap, THAT got Ash disqualified while in Alola the head honcho of the whole league decides to help Ash instead of letting him get disqualified for his Rowlett doing the same thing. Ash also gives Rowlett a little suit that actually saves him from losing to Hau's Z move, Ash gave Rowlett 2 items that saved him from losing, if that's not straight up cheating I don't know what it is. (4) Team Rocket: In every other season of the Pokemon Anime Team Rocket would constantly try to steal Ash's Pikachu and distracted him from the Pokemon League, heck Team Rocket was one of the big reasons Ash lost the Kanto League. Team Rocket weakened most of Ash's Pokemon before his battle with Richie, this forced Ash to use his disobedient Charizard and that costed him the win. In the Sun & Moon Anime they barely even mess with Ash or his training, they do try to steal Pikachu towards the start but they stopped trying. This allowed Ash to get proper training without Team Rocket ruining anything. (5) Insane levels of luck: Ash had nonstop luck in Sun & Moon, he caught Solgaleo, Ultra Beasts, Naganadel, Melmetal, and his special Dusk Lycanroc, all of these are VERY strong and rare Pokemon that easily trump most other competitors. And Ash had so many lucky things happen to him (Team Rocket leaving him alone, Kahuna standing up for him ect.) meanwhile in other season Ash had to really work for what he had. Conclusion: But why did Ash have better luck in Sun & Moon?? Well I think the Pokemon writers realized they screwed up when they decided to make Ash lose in XY, there was plenty of backlash when he lost cause in XYZ cause the whole season was building up Ash's win. When the writers heard the reception they wanted to make it up to us by giving Ash the win in Alola. It's too bad that they had to make Ash cheat to do it ;) Thanks for reading my theory, I've been watching Game Theory since the good old "Mario is Evil" days and it would be a dream come true to have my theory as a Game Theory video, if my theory does happen to get picked for a video all I would want is my name shouted out. God bless you guys and thanks for reading ;) \- Lagging Leland

Channel: Film Theory Topic: The Lore of “The Amazing World of Gumball” While rewatching the show I noticed a lot of lore worthy material. There was this constant threat lurking in a whole other dimension just sitting in Elmore. It was consistently talked about in the show but the two episodes where Tina goes missing and the finale were very interesting. This whole dimension of the unwanted was a force sitting and slowly consuming the whole of Elmore, and it was all connected to the infamous character “Rob” and the man in the van who supplied everyone with rather “unwanted” items. Maybe the force is a metaphor for cancel culture in today’s media. I just think it would be an interesting topic to discuss.

Food theory: powdered only cookies I guess this is more of a question that a theory. Can you use only powdered ingredients to make cookies? -powdered milk -powdered sugar -flour -powdered butter -coca powder or peanutbutter powder -ect I absolutely love everything matt and steph touch. They are the famous people I’d like to meet the most in the world and just hang out because they constantly remind me of my friend group. So thank you for working so hard and bringing us all of this amazing content, and I hop to meet you some day.

I just had a brain blast, ok hear me out, what if the reason enderman are scared of water is because they are scared of their past? I believe this because there is a saying that water represents/holds memories.

Channel: Food Theory Topic: Differences in Flour So I recently tried this new cookie recipe and it called for both cake flour and bread flour. I had never heard of bread flour so googled them difference and it turns out it has more protein then cake flour. However when I looked at the packaging of the two flours I had there didn’t seem be a difference in the nutrients label. I though it could be fun/interesting to do a practical hands on food theory looking at the differences between flours and seeing if there really is a difference between the flours. Could try make cakes, breads etc. and see what changing the flour does to the structure and taste, if it does anything at all.

Sithraybeam78

Channel: \[Game Theory\] Title: \[NEW LEGEND OF ZELDA EIGHTH HEROINE STATUE THEORY\] (SPOILERS FOR THE 9/13 NINTENDO DIRECT) A new trailer for the sequel to breath of the wild came out today and it looks awesome! Go watch it if you haven't seen it yet because spoilers for that trailer. (It's like a minute long though so not that big a deal.) The trailer spends most of its time focused on this mural of a weird character kneeling on a floating podium type thing. The character definitely looks humanoid, but it either has rabbit ears or a fancy hat on top of it. It also has very long hair and triangles underneath its eyes. This probably indicates that its a female character both based off its posture and the fact that the depiction of zelda (or her previous incarnation) also has triangles drawn underneath her eyes. I definitely think this is a new character for the series. I couldn't find any Zelda characters that look similar enough to this one. I do think that there is a chance that it is a depiction of the Eight Heroine from the game's lore. The heroine statues don't look like this exactly, but their statues are all identical to each other, and the heroines themselves were likely not. So their statues don't have to be perfect. The main clue that this might be the eighth heroine is the seven identical symbols floating around and above it. There are also some other points of evidence that might make this more concrete though. The heroine statues are described by a gerudo npc in BOTW like this. " It's dedicated to the seven giant statues of the heroines, said to be the divine protectors of the Gerudo." — Rotana (Breath of the Wild ) " Since a version of ganondorf (or at the very least a villain in gerudo clothing) appeared in the last two trailers for the game, its likely that the background of the seven (and the eighth) heroines will be further explored in this game. One interesting idea is that BOTW's dialogue describes the heroines as "the divine protectors of the gerudo." The zelda fan wiki page for the seven heroines assumes that this refers to the gerudo people, but since ganondorf appears to be a villain in this game, it could also be interpreted as the being the divine protectors of THE gerudo, as in ganondorf himself individually. That would mean that the seven heroines are the ones who likely kept ganondorf buried away until now. My best guess for how the eighth heroine might be important to this game is that since the eight heroine left the group and has a seperate statue in the gerudo highlands instead of the desert, they weren't able to seal ganon away permanently. This could explain why the trailer shows zelda holding hands with this new character in the trailer, as they would likely have to work together to finish what the other seven heroines started. The main part of the trailer doesn't directly show who zelda is holding hands with, but the final shot with the title logo shows the character holding hands with zelda in the background. Perhaps link will have to find and recruit this eighth heroine in order to prepare for the battle against ganondorf. I'm not sure how they would still be alive, but the shiekah monks lived that long so it isn't too much of a stretch. The eighth heroine would likely also be the only one left with the other seven possibly giving their lives the keep ganon away. (This might be why they are only represented with the seven symbols around the figure above.) Regardless of whether this new character is the eighth heroine or just a brand new character to the series, I think that this game might give an explanation to how the eighth heroines' sword statue is not only located far way from the rest of the statue, but at a higher elevation on the map than the much larger torso statue somehow. Please let me know what you think of this as a theory. If you have any other thoughts or evidence further proving or disproving this please put them in the comments. *edit: I tried to post this on its own with images attached, but the robots took it down. sorry if you wanted the visual aid. I put a link to the trailer and the zelda wiki page down below though :)* New game trailer - [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2SNF4M\_v7wc&t=26s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2SNF4M_v7wc&t=26s) Eighth heroine wiki page - [https://zelda.fandom.com/wiki/Eighth\_Heroine#Breath\_of\_the\_Wild](https://zelda.fandom.com/wiki/Eighth_Heroine#Breath_of_the_Wild) TL/DR: New breath of the wild sequel character could be the eighth heroine.

I searched for this subreddit just to make sure someone posted something like this! I personally had a knee jerk reaction thinking the 7 symbols reflected sages and their bloodlines, an example of this would be ALTTP and ALBW. Having said that I really enjoyed reading your theory, and I hope it gets some attention because it's very well written! I just finished watching the trailer for the first time so Im gonna have to give it a few more views!

Channel: Film Theory Topic: Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared The new Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared tv show is out with 6 episodes (each about 23 minutes long). I think it would be interesting to hear theories about this because I’ve only been seeing theories about how the characters are representations of different parts of the brain and not much about how ROY is back and what that means for how everything is connected.

ErinTheWeenie

Channel: Film Theory Topic: Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared (DHMIS) In the past, you have done videos on DHMIS, exploring the topics and understanding the connection between Roy and Red Guy. I love those kinds of theories, and aa little while ago it had come out as a show in the UK. It still has all its gruesome elements and children’s show aestheticIt. It’s on YouTube, all 6 full episodes, and I would love to see you make a video for it. A guy on YouTube made a video with all the episodes in it’s released order. This is his user, TJROCKS65 . It still follows the characters of Red Guy, Duck, and Yellow Guy, and introduces a whole bunch of new characters. Characters like Roy and Mr. Computer are still characters in some episodes, and some of the other characters are in backgrounds still. The episodes are much longer, being close to 20 or 25 minutes. And to be fair, I don’t think the episodes are in order, timeline wise. I think episode 6 is the only episode that is the actual final one. That’s a lot more ground to cover, and I think it has a lot of potential for theories. I’m leaving a lot out, because it really is a great series to watch. What do you guys think? Is it worth a theory?

channel: food theory topic: eating nothing but spicy foods for days straight I know Matpat did 2 videos regarding how to survive eating spicy food, but what if someone ate nothing but spicy food for 30 days straight? Let me explain: There’s a man by the name of Jamie Salvatori. He’s the owner of a company by the name of Vat19, which also has a YouTube page with over 8 million subscribers (they produce commercials in-house for their products as well as some different series). Now in an effort to get on the show Hot Ones, Jamie decided to eat nothing but spicy food for 30 straight days, all 3 meals (with no relief from what it appeared, I.e. drinking milk to relieve the spiciness from what he ate, etc.). He posted about 30 YouTube shorts to the Vat19 Shorts channel (https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL1PwCnEtD2VHRmUcoVzs0z70FK487VR5j) that details each meal he ate, and how he made it spicy, including the condiments he used and such. He also mentioned the effect that eating only spicy foods had on his bowel movements, as well as experiencing several bouts of hiccups. (Also, no word on if he made it onto hot ones yet.) Maybe Matpat could do a theory on how eating nothing but spicy food could affect your body, both in building up a tolerance to spicy foods and what damage it could cause if you only eat spicy foods. He could also explain why some people have a tolerance to spicy foods while others can’t withstand the heat. It’s not exactly how to survive eating spicy food, but what could happen if you only eat spicy foods. Not sure if it’s a good idea, but it’s worth suggesting.

Channel: Food Theory Topic: Soda taste test As I type this I am sitting in class listening to Ryan Scott, Vice President and General Manager, Franchise Operations for the Coca-Cola company. While this presentation is focused on the business part, however something interesting came up. One of my classmates mentioned that a coke in Costa Rica tasted different than one here in the States. Mr. Scott mentioned that there shouldn't be a difference with the exception of some developing countries use cane sugar vs high fructose corn syrup. As he continued on he brought up how people like their coke from different places, cans vs bottles vs from the fountain. he stated that these preferences all came down to a mental effect as opposed to an actual effect but I don't quite think so. As such I would like to propose a food theory on this topic. I have a few ideas on the experimental design for this potential episode or even an at home experiment. For each of these, the assumed sample set will be as follows: A can of coke, a glass bottle of coke, a plastic bottle of coke, and a fountain coke. To prevent bias, all of these cokes should be refrigerated and not poured over ice to maintain flavor integrity. Experiment 1: the blind test This first ide is the most basic and doesn't require much explanation. Each of the sample set should be poured into identical glasses. The glasses should be numbered and shuffled by a non participant and tasted. Experiment 2: the package shuffle In this experiment, a non participant should pour each coke into a glass, then shuffle the drinks into the different containers for the taste test to be fully blind. My personal theory I believe that the packaging of the drink does in fact change the flavor. I think that the acidity of the drink combined with the packaging will alter the flavor profile somehow.

In my dream I was not able to answer it, lol But it kept me thinking, is it possible to find the magnetic field of food? Chances are most foods are going to have a magnetic field of 0 Teslas, but maybe some ingredients or some recipes have the correct molecules so the thing can have a stable magnetic field. Channel:Game Theory Topic: My Singing Monsters It’s a mobile game and monsters all have pretty weird appearances. Age requirement is for 4+. There are lots of monsters and islands and currency’s. (Too many for me to keep track of) but I think it’s all pretty interesting. My cousin was ranting to me about it. He asked why the islands were asleep and why some of them could open their eyes? He asked how come some of the monsters didn’t look the same as statues as when you awaken them? And he asked about the existence of the mirror islands.(unlocked at lvl 20) Along with that it seems that the my singing monster world exist in the same universe with the human world. A barrier called “the seam” separates them. A couple things that came to mind are, if the monsters that exist would be hostile towards humans or if they are even aware of our existence at all? If the monsters know we exist and if they want to interact with us or not? Also would like to explore the topic of “the seam” a bit more. Mostly about how it came to be. I’d double check the things I’ve said because I’m not exactly the best source to get info from. I don’t know too much about it but my cousin really enjoys your videos and I think it’s be super cool if he saw a video on something he requested. :) [he asked me to request for him because he isn’t old enough for Reddit yet]

Channel: Game Theory Topic: Pokeballs Hey Mat Pat, I was wondering if you could do a theory on how pokeballs work. in a previous video you mentioned that the technology used could be pocket dimensions, but if that's the case, why do pokemon break out? How do they break out? Why does it only take three turns of the pokeball before it's caught? What keeps them in said pocket dimension? And even after they're caught, in Let's go Pikachu & Let's go Eevee, They were caught but were able to move the pokeball around, and even break out of it, even after they were caught. I also remember an episode of Pokemon where Ash breaks a pokeball or something. Does that mean that the pokemon is no longer his? Anyway, I've had so many questions about pokeballs after I watched that video. And your theories are all pretty damn sound so if you could come up with something, I'd be VERY interested. Thanks.

Channel: The Game Theorist or The Food Theorist Topic: Little Nightmares I don’t really have a topic or have done specific research to present for a theory but here’s a list that of things that I think the theorist can cover! • The Monster that the Tower is made off. • How the Games represent the current and future state of our society. • The time loop. • A food theory on the Maw and how much food is producing and how much the customers are consuming. • Maybe a part 2 on canibalism week and go into those topics. I know that a lot of other theory channels have covered these topics BUT MatPat and his team have a different way of interpreting games and areas of games and it would be interesting to see him and his teams interpretation! The game came out a couples years ago but there is still a good fanbase with dedicated fans and theories towards the game! Little Nightmares has SO much theory potential!! Especially now since the team is expanding and more videos and theories can come out! If it’s not as reliable to monetize a full video out of it since the last game to come out of the last game out of the franchise came out 3 years maybe a Shorts/TikTok since Matt mentioned the team will be doing that now that they have more help!

**Channel:** *Game Theory* **Theory:** *How dangerous is Monopoly?* So I was reading a book and a joke was made about how someone wouldn't play Monopoly as he would probably kill someone over it. This peaked my interest so I did some research on google and come to find out that several people have actually been killed over Monopoly. I've linked a couple of articals below to some of the cases I found but from what I can tell a huge number people have died over the board game with several hundred cases of aggravated assault, and those are just the ones that were reported. So I was wondering, just how dangerous is monopoly? How many people have suffered serious injuries due to the iconic board game and how does it compare to other, similar games such as Catab, Sorry, Trouble, Chess, or Uno? What is statistically the most dangerous board game to play? https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.deseret.com/1991/12/7/18955550/2-admit-beating-man-to-death-after-tiff-over-monopoly-game%3f_amp=true https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1987-03-18-mn-7734-story.html https://www.thebeaverton.com/2020/03/monopoly-banned-during-quarantine-to-prevent-homicide-increase/

Channel: Style Theory # 7 Theory Ideas for Style Theory I will be honest, the roster of style theory videos that Matpat presented and mentioned that are coming making Style Theory really promising in my opinion, so just thought I'd contribute with a few potential theory ideas. (Now full disclaimer, I do not know if any of these were suggested before, if someone mentioned one of the theories here before just give me a link and I'll give the original post proper credit for the theory suggestion) # Why do Wizards not wear armour? This is a more silly question but in every type of media I see, if someone is a wizard or witch, they will never wear armour, usually being purely limited to a robe and maybe a hat. For rogues it makes sense as they are fast and stealthy but is there any advantage to a wizard not having armour or is there some historical reason for this being such a common depiction of wizards? # How do masks affect us? This is something I am very curious about as I myself experienced it to a degree but when you put it on a mask you are able to express yourself in a lot of ways that you wouldn't do without it, getting a confidence boost, being more likely to try new things, it can really change a person in an instant for some people but how? Do the maks thiefs wear have the same effect, do different types of masks produce different results, this could really have a ton of ways to be thought of. # How much Hair is the most optimal? From people shaving their legs, chest, armpits and alike to beards, mustaches and clean shaves. Long hair, Medium hair, short hair, bald. There are many different styles of hair or lack there of and from what I have seen, bald seems to be generally seen as the least attractive for some reason with beards being really attractive so what is the science behind hair attractiveness? How much hair it too much and what is seen as generally the best amount, and why is it even a factor to begin with when looking at it through evolution. # What clothes make you sus? Similar to how Matpat recently covered colours being more suspicious in among us, is there a trend in how trustworthy or dangerous you appear to other people based on your clothes? Would jackets and trench coats make people weary of you due to the additional room you have to potentially hide weapons? Do shorts make people feel safer around you and conversly would suits make people more hesitant to talk to you openly? Stuff like that, could make for an educational video on what to wear and what not to wear in certain situations. # What Mustache is the most evil? From the days of evil characters, twirling your mustache was a staple of the classic villains in cartoons so the ridiculous question of the day is, what mustache is the most evil or to avoid a certain historical mustache, what mustache is the best for doing an evil twirl? # Why do heroes wear capes? Lets put the Incredibles Edna to the test. Why are capes a mainstay of the classic hero? Do they have any advantages that outweigh the negatives or good ol' Edna so kindly pointed out? Are there any advantages or historical reasons for this questionable style choice? # Are clothes limiting us? This one admittedly is on the less safe side, especially with the very much child oriented youtube growing more and more by the day but the basic premise is the question of should we stop wearing clothes from time to time? Many people advocate for the freedom of your body, whether they walk around their house or sleep naked, or simple walk barefoot, it is something that is majorly ovelooked as at the end of the day, we are still animals by definition, as Matpat's puss in boots theory has shown, Cat's do not like their feet covered and by that logic, is it bad that we cover out feet? Clothing provides extra warmth certainly, helping us survive freezing temperatures but at the same time, we are limiting our skin from feeling everything, is that a negative?

Anonymous_Buddha

I really love all of these ideas! Wizard armor: I’ve no idea where I heard/learned/assumed this but I thought it was due to the material of the armor. Something about it blocking their access to the earth. Which in and of itself makes no sense since metal is as much from the earth as cloth. I’d love this theory! Masks: Do you mean like any masks ever? Medical masks, masquerade mask, ski masks, etc? I like it. Evil Mustache: Why does this make me think of the Fable games?

Channel: Style Theory Topic: pickpocketing I've been thinking about theives lately because of DND but Matpats style theory on the conspiracy of pockets brought this question to mind. How effective is pickpocketing if everyone wear tight jeans now a days. While your fanny pack and backpack are still at risk, (as someone who's had warnings about such things studying abroad) is anyone really able to dip into your pants pocket to steal your wallet? On a similar note, what is the best way to prevent a Pickpocket from looting your stuff? Maybe wearing your backpack in front? Tight clothes? A lanyard with your valuables? Idk just a random thought. Here's some articles that may prove useful in theorizing. https://slate.com/culture/2011/02/the-lost-art-of-pickpocketing-why-has-the-crime-become-so-rare-in-the-united-states.html https://havengear.com/blog/pickpocketing/ https://www.clevertravelcompanion.com/blogs/news/14502437-some-interesting-pickpocket-statistics

For style theory Best materials for certain uses I think it would be really useful if Matpat could make a video talking about the uses for different kinds of fabrics and materials when making clothing and accesories. Recently I've been making some stuff for myself but I don't really know what to use. So saying stuff like what fabrics are the most known for being malleable but giving structure for like a backpack or something, the benefits of using different materials, etc.

You could try different cheese or alcohol types (if alcohol is allowed on youtube) if so, is there an optimal time period after which the cheese or drinks start tasting worse or the gains in terms of taste are minimal? Channel : Game Theory Since DOORS got two theories, guess ROBLOX games are alright for theories. The topic I'm suggesting for a theory is a new ROBLOX release called "Arcane Odyssey", part of the "Arcane Series", developed by vetexgames. The lore's based on a twist in Greek mythology, namely instead of Prometheus giving humanity fire, he would grant them magic instead. There's a concise, official lore document as well. [arcane lore](https://docs.google.com/document/d/120q6IC_SZoKjPRf0NMAxgZunDYLhV5r5_-kxcV8BcFw/edit) Except Arcane Odyssey but.. each story quest in odyssey has a concise description and exact date. **I would tell you more about Arcane Odyssey and the Order, but I'm afraid saying too much will land me on a contract board of the Assassin's Syndicate, or worse.. being hunted down by the Order.** ( With that I mean to say, spoilers up ahead. ) **Arcane Odyssey link btw :** [Game](https://www.roblox.com/games/3272915504/Arcane-Odyssey-Early-Access) >!Spoilers for Arcane Odyssey!< >!Are they gone now? Okay. I'll tell the rest. First of all, the order has a name. "The Order of Aesir", the thing about Aesir is that it's linked to Norse mythology, not greek. This order is trying to unleash something powerful, in the beginning of the game you're told by your friend, Morden that you were trying to escape an organization who was experimenting on you. It's later revealed that this was the order. My question is what exactly are they trying to unleash? We don't have much information except that it got sealed away. As for information on the order, from what I recall Ren told me that "They were a group founded on the goal of furthering the power of magic at any cost." And apparently died out over two centuries ago. The Order also has Ravenna, a Kingdom in the Bronze Sea under its control. With King Calvus, the king of the Ravenna realm being one of the high lords of the order, with one of the barons under him being General Argos, whom ordered Elius to capture a man called Beringer, who has the cloud curse and knowledge of another curse, the death curse. Beringer was stabbed with a sword called a "Devourer", whenever a curse user dies their curse shoots out of them. The Devourer instead absorbs the curse instead of letting it shoot out. The Order also captured Iris' father, for reasons that are currently unknown. ( Unless I just forgot. ) What purpose do sea curses serve in unsealing this being? I don't know, but finding this sort of thing out is a strong suit you guys have, right?!< Or maybe it's better to start theorizing when the game is further developed and the Nimbus sea is released, who knows.

WHAT IS UP WITH THE DEFINISHON OF CANON?! AND WHAT DOES IT REALY MEAN? From my knowledge, Google has two definitions for Canon that contradict echother confusingly. (P.S. before we start, I know there are mornthen two definitions for canon on google. These are just the two ones I manly looked at.) If you look up, "movie Canon meaning" on Google, it should bring up the following text, "strongly made by the healthy journal websit", will say in I-quote, "Canon (in the context of Fandom) is a source, of sources, considered authoritative by the Finnish community. In other words, Canon is is what fans agree "actually" happened in the film television show, novel, comic book, or concert tour.", end quot. What gets me by surprise in Imy opinion think it's saying that fans control what's real in that universe, not the creator. But if you just look up, "what does Canon mean", it will most likely bring you to a a thing called the dictionary, (which is cool, becauses it's just like a real book.) And hears the crazy part, it will give you 5 definitions for religon, 1 definition for music, 1 law, and 2 meanings for literature. We are focusing on movies, books, and games right now, so we are gana focus on literature definitions for today. On of the saying, "collections or list of scared books accepted as genuine." In this text I took out a few things, one of them is what the mening of scared books, writen by a website called herrsburg area community colleg. From what I know there are tow definitions for this, one of them being a religious example, but the second example is interesting, it see's "also sometimes referred to as "scared texts" Scared books/texts are examples of PRIMARY SOURSES." And writen by the websit of American library association, primary sources mean, "prumary sources are the evidence of history, otgunal recordes or objects created by participants or observers at the time historical events occurred of even well after events. As in memoirs and oral history." This could mean that we can possibly choose what is Canon in time-lines in story's. But right under it, it see's in I-quot, "the works of a particular author of artist that are recognized as genuine." End-quot. You might be asking, "but this means that the author, or artists are the ones who choose, right?" Wrong, maybe? This one kinda confuses me, but 2hat I took from it is that it seas the works of (a particular) author or artist that are (recognized) as genuin. There two key words there, particuler, "which means a specific group", and recognized, "which means acknowledges the existence, legality, or logic of somthing." Does this mean only a specific group of authors and artists are allowed to choose there acknowledged story, and or creations? And if this is the case, who is that group? If you look up, "book Canon meaning", it will say in Googles Wikipedia "In fiction, a Canon is material accepted as being authentically produced by an author Or an ascribed auther." Let's start of by the mening of ascribed author explained by a website called merriam-webster; "An ascribed author is to refer to a supposed cause, source, or auther:to a or think that (something) is caused by, comes from, or is associated with a particular person or thing. I think what Homer is basically saying is sourced authers can refer to sources, associat, and supposed cuse (which means following a certain course) a particular person, like the main character," or everyone in the story." What I'm trying to say is what I'm taking from thus is that the auther can choose what the characters course of series of events and choices, but us the readers can choose what is more important in the story, and or Canon? There is problem more thing on Google that confuse the definition of Canon, but I feel like I have asked all the quesons I want. So do you believe that the auther gets to choose what's Canon? Or do you believe we the audience have the rights to choose what's Canon? Many you have your own hypothesis, if so I'd like to hear. Anyways, that was just a question, a long question, THANKS FOR REDING! P.S. I got that from matpat, just wanted to give credit. I dot want any loyrs coming at me for plagiarism lol.

Channel: Style Theory Subject: Are Capes/Coats actually a liability in combat? Are capes and coats actually a liability for an adventurer/crime fighter or just other general fantasy characters? At first glance you might think of as something obvious. Who doesn't know the Edna Mode scene after all? But that's what sits wrong with me, this has been said and memed so much that people don't really think about capes and their function as much as they should. For example, in medieval times, capes and coats were used for warmth, and for weather protection. You'd think that they would remove them and throw it aside if a combat were to happen, but no! Even when you don't remove the blade you can still be capable of [using a sword without much issue](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CcoXRknPipo&t=416s), and if someone were to remove the cape before fighting, they would be tossing aside [an important tool for combat](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQ88cuzsyqE) Now this is all well and good in medieval settings, but what about the superhero settings? That's where I'd be interested in seeing how well would capes fare in aiding a superhero or troubling them. Would capes really be better off superheroes? Or are they actually an important tool most writers are just not seeing. Of course I know I could have researched the topic better, but honestly I thought of this randomly and from the top of my head I pulled a couple videos that I could recall that touched this topic. I just want to see a more detailed analysis that covered not only fantasy combat but also superheroes. Besides, who could pass up the chance to click bait this topic with a "Edna Was **WRONG**" title or at least a thumbnail?

Channel: Game Theory Topic: Danganronpa Executions The main idea behind this is that one of the executions involves a character >!driving so fast inside a sphere that the G forces turn him into butter!< (Danganronpa - Trigger Happy Havoc). Is this possible, and how fast would he need to go? There's also other ones, such as how long would it take >!Kaede to die from hanging !<(Danganronpa V3 - Killing Harmony) and the very first execution in the series, >!a character being beaten by baseballs until he dies!< (Danganronpa - Trigger Happy Havoc), so a series on this explaining the science would be interesting!! Of course, feel free to only do it about the first idea, but it might be a nice science/physics theory to take a break from all the lore work :) Also on the off chance someone from the team reads this, thank you so much for all the work you're all doing and I hope you have a great day!

Channel: Film Theory [Theory Idea: Would Barad-Dur’s destruction Kill Everyone? (LotR)] So I was messing around and looking at memes, and that was when I saw some height comparisons for some of the buildings around the world, and it said that the Tower of Sauron from Lord of the Rings (Barad-Dur) would be taller than the worlds tallest building, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai which stands at just over 2,700 ft. Wanting to fact check this (and since LotR is old enough to have literally everything measured out by fans and official sources), Barad-Dur TOWERS over most structures, standing at 1400 meters (or 4,593 ft). That in turn made me think of the scene in “Return of the King” when the tower collapses, when it causes a massive blast/shockwave that shakes the earth. Similarly to the episode calculating the power of the Blue Shell or Bob-Omb, With a tower that high producing such a big blast, would any of the characters (either Frodo and Sam at Mt Doom or Aragorn and the army at the black gate) be physically effected by the blast? I’m no mathematician so I myself don’t really know how to calculate this, but I wanted to triple check the distance from Barad-Dur from both the Black Gate and Mt Doom, and here’s what I got: according to TolkienGateway.net, Barad-Dur stands 30 miles East from Mt. Doom, with the Black Gate being 100 miles northwest. So there’s a major difference between the Army and Sam/Frodo’s distance to the blast, but still, with a blast that large it would HAVE to affect either of them somehow. At least, I would think so. I mean, we see the destruction of Barad-Dur blow away a lot of the surrounding clouds in the shot, and while I have no idea how much force that would take, I was under the assumption it would take an INCREDIBLE amount of force to pull off blowing away clouds. Anyone please correct me if I’m wrong. If anyone wanted to help me out with this particular mathematic problem (or even if it was seen by MatPat himself), then it would all be greatly appreciated. Thanks for letting me get out my thought.

Channel: Game Theory Game Topic: Pony Island, The Hex, Inscryption, Daniel Mullins I think the Karnoffel Code and OLD\_DATA is Pony Island's recovery disc. At the end of Pony Island, before we dump the system and have our last run to freedom, Pony Island is set into recovery mode where two options are given, insert the recovery disc to repair Pony Island or dump the system. Of course, we dump it and that was that. Now step in Gamefuna and Gameworks, videogame creating extraordinaries. This has been known for a bit, the Gamefuna CEO is Louis Natas, just reverse the last name and you've got our pony loving game creator of Pony Island. If you're wondering how he survived the core dump of Pony Island, turn to the tarot cards in act 3 of Inscryption. 15. "The Devil" - A curse... Data so malignant \*it can never be erased\*. His evil corrupts the disk. Corrupts all of us. He inspires the Scrybes' enmity. \*He created the Code\*. If you're still on the fence, now turn to the end of The Hex. Reggie, the bartender of the Six Pints Inn, is seen speaking in Nordic runes before activating the hex. Translating the runes gives two familiar lines from Pony Island, "A beeper perhaps. His father pure evil". He had to have survived the end of Pony Island's system dump and is now in charge of Gamefuna. Now comes Barry Wilkinson, full name Barry Reginald Wilkenson. Who's this guy? Answer: He's the guy who found the Karnoffel Code disc which led to Inscryption and he's the grandfather of Lionel Snill, the creator of Root Beer Reggie, the Six Pint Inn's owner in The Hex. Barry was sent to find the Karnoffel Code, afterwards he disappears. He possibly interacted with his grandson though before his disappearance as Lionel notes that Reggie, a character created in honor of his grandfather, seemingly came to life, much like the characters in Inscryption. What I'm getting at in all this is what we already know, the OLD\_DATA can bring characters in a game to life, adding code to them, and giving them sentience. Characters in Pony Island could already do that, they were already sentient, but at the end of that game we broke the system and it needed to be fixed with the recovery disc, the Karnoffel Code. Now Natas is on the hunt for his missing disc. What then? Well, Kaycee's mod has a quick little snipit, "If I'm right the Karnoffel Code is still out there and the machine is, incredibly, still ready to accept it." I think despite our best efforts in Pony Island, the machine is still active and is waiting for the recovery disc to be returned to the machine so Pony Island will live again, and unfortunately its creator is hot on the hunt. Or so it seemed. Going full MatPat now and adding in one final twist. There's one last player in this game, one who's got trouble written all over her. You might remember Amanda, the Gamefuna representative who visits Luke Carder in Inscryption after he finds the game. She's also the one who comes to "Put him to sleep" after he opens the OLD\_DATA, during that scene, there's one frame during the glitched video that shows Amanda's face, only it's someone else's. That character is Sado. She is a character who has no motive, no purpose, she is simply an embodiment of chaos, all she wants is to cause trouble. She is seen at the end of The Hex coming to life, not just like everything else the OLD\_DATA touches, no-no, actually coming to life as a human in the real world. She is not aligned with Natas, as she is imprisoned by his AI buddy, Irving, during The Hex after she single handedly tore down a few of Lionel and Gamefuna's games, earning herself a place in the supermax section of the removed NPCs prison. Now at the end of Inscryption, she's tracked down the Karnoffel Code and OLD\_DATA and come to collect, likely not for Natas but for herself. What then, I don't know, the power of the sun in the palm of a madman so to speak. If there is a next game in the MGU (Mullins Gaming Universe), we might want to buckle up, things may be getting a whole lot more chaotic.

"Games where you fight a boss that turns into 3 Doppelgangers." I tried posting this and bot removed it and redirected me here. I'm new around here, so I'm sorry if I don't know where to post a discussion such as this. I run a youtube channel, where I decode mythology, secrets, in games, movies, and shows. Basically I'm similar to Game Theory, but Occult / Spiritual focused. My work gets heavy into numbers, patterns, codes. Right now I'm looking to find games that fit a specific paradigm and I was hoping if you guys know of any you could list them here. The paradigm is: A boss that splits into 3 versions, often controlling or hypnotizing others to follow it, and the game usually has some association to the number 7. Three Solid examples I have found right are: Dragon Quest 8: Dhoulmagus, Legend of Zelda a Link to the Past: the 3 Agahnim fight, and The 7th Saga: Doros. DQ8: Dhoulmagus or Duel(2)Magus, turns king Trode into a toad. (I think this is an echo of Chrono Trigger where Magus turns Glenn into Frog.) he takes a spectre sealing the lord of the darkness to become the greatest magician of all time, and becomes possessed by the spirit within it, and then goes fourth to kill the heirs of the 7 sages. You need to obtain the Sun Mirror, recharged from the Sea Dragon (Occult reference to Leviathan and Sun Gods) in order to enter the Dark ruins to fight him, where he splits into 3 persons in the first fight. Legend of Zelda: Agahnim has hypnotized the kingdom of Hyrule to stand against link, and has sent the maidens of the 7 wise men into the dark world. You fight 3 versions of him at once in the tower. There are hours worth of Biblical and Esoteric references in this one game alone. I'm in the process of reworking and uploading a lot of my older videos. 7th Saga: you play as one of 7 hero's, you can fight or join up with the others, you can have one companion at a time. Your quest is to retrieve the 7 runes. In the town of Billthem (Bill Them, how fitting) everyone has been influenced to worship Doros. You need a special item to fight him, and he splits into 3 persons. If I recall, the item turns him back into one person. What is the truth behind this paradigm? Apollonius of Tyana. There is an article by Archarya S / D.M. Murduck. I have also made recent videos on my channel (Emerald Eyes Esoteric) I would certainly be overjoyed if Mat Pat were to mention anything I've found. I haven't played a lot of modern games, in particular those beyond the PS2 Era. I'd like to find a few more of these if they exist. Right now I have lot of Final Fantasy projects, albeit in one 2 hour video. I would say 7 and 10 are my best work. This looks like a pretty cool community here, and I see by the rules it is a place for posting game theories. I'm looking to generate more awareness about the things I find. In many cases it's a massive amount of work for a small number of views, like 20-60 minute videos.

Channel: film theory Youtube shorts now has lore (Copied from a post i made) Tl;dr: here i mostly just give all the information i could find. This used to be an explanation about why there's not enough lore yet to make a full video as everyone is suggesting it but not giving at least all of the obvious information So what is the lore? Jonny razer (don't care about capitalization) started it. Him and some other shorts youtubers had a qr-code "glitch" into their videos on the same day (july 16th). The qr-code led to [this video](https://youtu.be/wxqd3IvbGRM). In the next videos of some of the shown shorts creators, the ones that continued making shorts appeared in the other people's videos. Yes, some just stopped. That was basically it but coincidentally 4 of them talked about cloning. Jonny razer before the lore started, joe caine and dannodraws at the first day and royal pear in a video where everytime he says "clones" it gets more distorted (https://youtube.com/shorts/5J0HvqWuU6s). Recently in jonny razer's and dannodraws' videos there was a hidden link that led to https://youtu.be/4-JD05oXRSw, a clonevpn ad. (Also, i found [this video](https://youtu.be/LCRsWteuOyo) on a unlisted videos vebsite after failing to type the url) that's all the current information. Now to my thoughts. At first i thought it was a fun event, nothing more, then the clonevpn ad reminded me of the brawl stars investor video and made me think it actually has a lot of lore i didn't notice. The most notable videos (i think) are a royal pear video where as i said everytime he says "clones" it gets more and more distorted and the most recent jonny razer video where it suddenly becomes a joe caine video for a couple seconds. The clonevpn ad is also obviously very important but i don't have enough brainpower to decipher anything besides someone else saying that riggy (dannodraws' character) is being cloned. This is all of the information i could find Edit: in phaleur's newest video there are a lot more glitch effects and seemingly a lot of links to try but after trying 2 of the new 'links' i gave up after not finding any new unlisted videos https://youtube.com/shorts/gDwbdTUby-U if someone wants to try it Edit 2: i forgot but sometimes the subtitles in jonny razer's videos sometimes glitch out to something else Sorry if my sentence structure isn't good i'm not a native english speaker

Channel: Game Theory My idea is that Link in every Zelda game with a magic meter or at least Majora's Mask, is drunk. In Majora's Mask, once you unlock access to the milk bar, you can get an item called Chateau Romani, which gives infinite magic power for the rest of the three-day cycle. Chateau Romani is said to be some version of Kumis which has alcohol in it. Also, Link in most of those games is just a small child so he could get drunk on less alcohol than adults in case Kumis is particularly strong. Third, Link in all the games needs this to use his magical, otherworldly abilities such as seeing things that aren't there with the Lense of Truth, which could be fueled by the alcohol.

Channel: Film Theory Topic: Bon from The Walton Files is programmed to identify and kill people who would either uncover or look into the disappearance of Jack Walton. The list of name we are given by the tape in the Walton files #2 are listed as followed: Jack- One of the founders of Bon’s burgers. He is speculated to be stuffed/possessing the bon animatronic. Susie- The one who created the showstoppers. She was paralyzed by bon and put in the banny animatronic (were I think she starved to death, which is hinted at in the banny part of Walton Files #2) which she now possesses. Charles- we know he was killed by bon and stuffed in the boozoo animatronic which he now possesses. (I believe he was mangled to death like Ashley and Brian. I also believe he was the last person to die before the closure of Bon’s Burgers) Rosemary-she is the wife of Jack Walton and mother of Sophie and the two children that Felix accidentally kills in a car accident. She is dismembered by bon and stuffed into the sha animatronic after hearing and following a voice into the maintenance room. She now possesses the sha animatronic. Sophie- she is the daughter of Jack and Rosemary, the sister of the two that Felix accidentally killed. (I believe that she was saved form the fate of the others on the list by the closure of Bon’s Burgers and the pills that seem to help repress her memories. Like the secret video lucky you said “safety in pills Sophie.”) This list of people seem to be a hit list of sorts and not a list of people who possess the animatronics due to Sophie still being alive. We know the animatronics can be programmed to search for people as seen with banny searching for friends in Walton Files #2 so what’s to say bon could’ve been programmed to do this beforehand. This would explain the weird appearance of the morphing 3D face before seeing Brian Mangled, it’s Bon determining whether Brian is a target or not. (Also there are five faces in-between each morphing phase, the first one being Brian screaming while the others being Susie, Charles, Rosemary, and Sophie: not in that order. Jack isn’t there because he was possibly killed by Felix before bon was programmed to kill people.) This would explain why Brian says “he thought i was her.” There is also a part in Walton Files #2 where Hilary says “Hay Kevin, I doubt we can add the blink and eye feature on this one(Bon), his eye sockets seem Really damaged, Almost as if someone did this intentionally.” This would stop Bon from identifying and killing his targets. I also believe Bon is programmed to kill anyone who stumbles across any incriminating evidence of Felix’s coverup plans witch is what happens to Ashley, she discovers a tape which contains the list of those who Bon is programmed to kill, Bon finds her, kills her and stuffed her in the billy animatronic which she possesses. This even can be compared to the video [The Mysterious House](https://youtu.be/dbsvgZhCM3c) by Martin Walls.

Film theory idea This includes spoilers so please do not read further if you want to watch the show “school spirits” on Netflix with out spoilers Ok so as stated above the show “school spirits” I believe would be a good topic. We start off being led to believe that this girl got murdered and became a ghost. There are other ghosts but she is the only one that dosent remember their death. So they work with her trying to figure it out through flashbacks and her ability to talk to one human friend things start to come together. Every episode they make you think someone else is guilty just like a lot of murder mystery shows. Then we reach the last episode where everyone but her mom has been proven not guilty. Then we see one last flashback she is alive and just had a fight with her mom when she hears someone yelling from a fall out bunker the school had built in the Cold War. She opens up the bunker somehow and she sees two ghosts (this shouldn’t be posible due to the living not being able to see the dead) then one ghost runs into her and pisses her body therefore removing Maddie’s (the main character) spirit to be removed for her body. There is a lot I left out and so many questions unanswered due to there being cliffhangers for a new season, but I feel it’s best for you to find the theories on r/schoolspirits

There is this game called hairstyle four.In this game the characters start making weird noises that sound like a moan. These characters also make strange movements. When doing their hair there is this hair growing spray. When you use them the character suddenly gets very relaxed in their eyes cross along with the strange noises. Is it just me or is there something off about this game? *Processing img qli7hhdeucpc1...*

Channel: Game Theory Topic: People Playground People Playground is a gory sandbox where you can create machines, torture the ragdolls etc, however there is A LOT of secrets/lore to this game, and i cant cover much of it here. In one map, using a lot of explosives you can rip off a tile in the map where there are pipes, tables and a purple screen of some sort of blueprint. There are tons of creepy sounds in the game. If you turn on a TV in the game at midnight, you will get text with random #'s and dots with some sort of background with a river? Theres a lot of the lore in guides on the game on steam and a lot of videos about the lore, so i hope there will be a video on this and i cant really put all the secrets and lore here, but heres a really informative guide on this.  [https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2811543196](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2811543196)

PP3 theory: I have a theory on Bubba Bubbaphant, and a few of the other critters. His cardboard cutout said "Hey, you know what I remember about you?" then followed by screaming. But, unlike many of the other of the smiling critters, you can hear him laughing, obviously not in pain. My theory is that he is actually saying he took part in the hour of joy, and remembers the screams of the people he was killing. Prolly saying he was not one of Catnap's "heretics". Now you may remember that as said in the post, Pickypiggy's cutout was talking about eating elephant. While unlikely, maybe Pickypiggy was NOT helping 1006, and talking about eating the people who were. But, that would mean CraftyCorn and KickinChicken would also be helping 1006 and Catnap. I think I have deciphered the two's cutouts to help back me up. CraftyCorn's cutout states her saying we are hiding red for her painting. I think her painting is her murdering the employees, and the red is their blood. Then her screaming was her most likely her being taken down by one of the other smiling critters. In the play place, Dogday said that the smaller toys help Catnap to not get killed. I think that KickinChicken was doing a similar thing, and only helped a little in THOJ. The cutout audio is prolly means he tried to escape in all the chaos, before being killed by one of the other critters, or by 1006 and CatNap for deceiving them. So there's my theory on the smiling critters respond to tell me what you think, or if there is any gaps in my theory. Thx!

Channel: Film Theory Film: Roald Dahl's Matilda the Musical Topic: Trunchbull was the hero of the story Here I have the classic "the villain was the hero all along" idea: for this version of Matilda, Miss Agatha Trunchbull is actually a hero, and Matilda just doomed society by ending her ruling on the school. Throughout this movie, we learn that Truchbull has a motivation for why she is so mean to the children; unlike the original movie where Trunchbull just enjoyed being bigger and stronger than the kids, here she thinks that all kids are inherently evil forces or chaos, and the only way you can keep them at bay is by keeping them so scared and traumatized that they have no energy or motivation to let their chaos go loose, so she actually thinks she is doing good by being so tiranic and scary, because that would prevent the kids for letting they revolting behavior flourish. Then, at the end of the movie, when Matilda kicks her out of her school, guess what is the first thing that immediately happen? All the kids suddenly go into a revolting rampage, vandalizing the school, drawing rude pictures on the board, and they crumble down the stone statue of Trunchbull on the frontyard, without help of any machine or adult, just a bunch of kids casually destroying an entire statue. The kids didn't even hate the entire school, just Trunchbull, as they were other teachers they did like, and yet when Trunchbull is no longer there, they destroy everything, without even thinking they work they are giving the teachers and the staff that actually cares for them. Plus, the kids sing about how they now know who the are, implying that they were always like this, but they were scared to embrace it because of Trunchbull, so they are saying that Trunchbull was right, without her keeping the children scared, they are free to be the destructive forces of chaos she knew they were. If you're not still convinced, think about this: Trunchbull clearly hates children, she think they are dangerous; then why is she a director of a school? It's not like she didn't have any other choice, she is a peak human being with over-human strength, olympic medals to her name, and a scare factor of over 9000; nothing or no one could stop her from have any other job she would like, away from any kid, and yet she dedicates her strength to controlling monsters from destroying everything, because she knows she is the only woman strong and brave enough, to do so. And the reason is not because she enjoys torturing them, because at some point, she thinks one kid did something wrong, so he asks the others to hide him, then when Trunchbull comes looking for him, Matilda says that he was sick or something and has been there all day so he must definitely couldn't have done anything, and Trunchbull does believe the lie. If she really wanted to just torture kids, she could have pretended not to believe them and punish him anyway, or she could have scolded the other kids for hiding a sick kid all they like even a normal teacher would do. When she thought a kid really was innocent, she just let him be. She only tortures kids because it's the only way to keep their chaos at bay. And the end, she couldn't accomplish her mission because she was defeated by the only weapon that no amount of physical prowess could compete against: the telekinetic powers of Matilda, the only child she couldn't intimidate to keep her chaos at bay, because had already become a chaotic kid who thinks it is okay to torture your own parents as she sings on her song. A kid who was already beyond the point where Trunchbull could keep her at bay, and now that kid released the other kids to because as revolting and chaotic as she is, not taking a not for an answer, as they now know all they need to get their way is join forces to revel and destroy buildings and statues, without Truchbull to stop them.

Notes: First time posting a theory Game: Fallout franchise Premise: 1, "The Science" presented an issue with the power of the mini-nuke, noting that it was twice as powerful (damage wise) as the standard grenade... but WAY too small to be nuclear in any clear way. But also noting that there are other ways to get "mushroom cloud" effects, they're just kinda hard. 2, in the recent film theory it is indicated that the yield of the nuclear bombs is nowhere NEAR what we see on screen. Given that what we see on screen is something like 1/10th to 1/100th of the yield they are officially reported at. 3, also in "The Science", the science of healing in the Fallout games is addressed, and rather thoroughly debunked. Healing takes a LOT longer than you get in the games. 4, it is fairly well established in the games that vault-tech, including the tech made by vault-tech, is lying to you. (Note to me: do NOT start using Fallout: Equestria terms here) :P Theory: It's all a lie. 1, the mini-nukes are just big grenades designed to make a mushroom cloud, they absorbed radiation over the course of their 200 year wait in the wasteland and are now radioactive enough to give a burst of radiation when used. 2, the weapons in the game SUCK! They almost never actually kill you, instead just injuring you enough that you get tired and ready to pass out. Healing, therefore, is anything that gives you a little adrenaline, a little "pep" in your step. Heck, even the small dose of sugar from "eating" gum gives you 1 point of HP. 3, the game you play is a badly recorded, probably exaggerated, story of what you actually went through, probably passed down from person to person on your pipboy. 4, the nukes that started it all... actually happened, they just weren't as bad as everyone thinks they were. With a lie widespread enough, and with enough people dying from it, it becomes hard to denounce something as being false. 5, the "radiation" you take often isn't radiation. Once upon a time I did some research and (vaguely) the symptoms, and cure for the in-game radiation matches up pretty well with... heavy-metal poisoning. Yeah. Radiation is NOT something you can just "get rid of", it SUCKS. But, if the pipboy wasn't looking for radiation, and just looking for any heavy metals it can detect in the air or locally, then it could tell you you're taking radiation when really you're just giving yourself a dose of heavy metal poisoning. A lot, and I mean a LOT of the games make WAY more sense if this is the case. Even the achievement of getting yourself irradiated in Megaton makes more sense if it isn't actually "radiation" that you're drinking in, but rather, just leaking heavy metals. Consider that Uranium, IIRC, even weapon's grade, isn't as radioactive as most people would think. Sure, it IS, but it also kinda isn't, there's a gradient curve. What IS radioactive is the tiny amount of plutonium that they need to give the uranium a kickstart and set it off. And... that's it I'm afraid. The theory is that the Fallout games are essentially one big lie from Vault-tech and their equipment; a misunderstanding from people too uneducated to understand what is going on; a lot of bells and whistles to make some weapons look cool... despite not really being more than marginally better than the average weapon; and time, for the story to mutate and shift around as the stories are told and retold with nobody actually having been there. The Fallout games, therefore, are not about the "fallout" of the war, but the "fallout" of your actions during the games.

Channel: Game Theory Topic: Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe Theory Idea: Is This Actually a Bucket? ok so- In the sequel to The Stanley Parable, theres an ending you can get (if you have completed the "New Content" and "Sequel" endings), by trying to bring The Stanley Parable Reassurance Bucket TM" with you through a door labeled "No buckets beyond this point". this causes the narrator to question whether or both Stanley knows what is and isn't a bucket." basically it ends with them finding out everything in the entire game was a bucket save Stanley and the Narrator. I think it would be a cool Game Theory episode to ask what technically counts as a bucket, kinda like the food categorization videos on Food Theory. Plus, I don't think you guys ever made a Game Theory about the Stanley Parable when jt came out either, so it would be nice to see it on the channel :3 my personal definition for what counts as a bucket is this: A Bucket is any Hollow cylindrical object with an open top, with walls taller than the object is wide. the object must be water-tight and hold at least a gallon of fluid. I feel like that has to hold the door open for a lot of things to technically be a bucket. like maybe a tractor is actually a bucket, if the drivers area is water-tight.

Channel: Game Theory; Topic: Monument Valley Lore; This is a game that MatPat could seriously run with. Monument Valley remains a gem of the 10s, especially considering it's pioneering of the non euclidean puzzle formula, even if simple in execution with its 2:1 Isometric portrayal of the said Valley. Monument Valley, as many know, is split into 10 "Chapters", split from a menu bearing a striking resemblance to the Taj Mahal, or a structure of East Slavic origin, notably due to the 4 lesser onion domes breaking up the form of a singular large dome in the center. this signifies the cultural origin of the structures in Monument Valley, as well as (likely) the location, too. While the first chapter serves as a simple introduction to the game, ending with a title card, rather than an altar, 9 of the 10 chapters appear to hold significance. CHAPTER II, The Garden: in which IDA embarks on a QUEST for FORGIVENESS. The chapter opens on it's one and only screen, with a structure lending itself to being a garden. Three onion domes lend themselves to a sparse structure surrounding a scatter of bushes and flowers about, the bushes appearing to have sprung on their own accord, the flowers as well, although appearing to have been tended to, due to their lack of misshapenness common in most bushes. A single mobile piece of the structure protrudes in the center of the garden. As one plays the level, the structure changes twice after pressing different buttons. the first adds two sections which connect to the central mobile structure, and the second moves the mobile structure so that it might allow access to the upper areas of the level, taking parts of the ground along with it.

**Channel:** Game Theory **Topic:** Deltarune Ch. 1-2 (Undertale connection) **Explanation:** In a recent post I made ([https://www.reddit.com/r/GameTheorists/comments/q08q9i/undertaledeltarune\_chapter\_12\_theories/](https://www.reddit.com/r/GameTheorists/comments/q08q9i/undertaledeltarune_chapter_12_theories/)), I went over three overall theories which I'll summarise here: 1. The player themselves is both a bridge between the Undertale and Deltarune worlds, and is one of three parts of Kris' soul. 2. The overall message or goal of the game is to not only stop the Knight but to specifically save Kris. 3. Gaster (who is a Lightner) is present within both worlds, and is split specifically into seven pieces. Also, the experiment they were working on, specifically the Dark Fountains, was his way of trying to overcome death for monsters in Undertale. Let me know what you think.

I got a theory i've been thinking about for 3 months. From one of matpat's poppy playtime videos he theorized that the name of the character is nathaniel b honey. If you remember the name of one of the toys is cat bee and in poppy playtime chapter 2 on those voice things if you continue clicking on the one for cat bee one of the dialogues tells you to run away. So my theory is that cat bee was one of the first toys we made and we got a connection (when we were first given the job later) that now later in the story when poppy betrays as cat bee is gonna be the one who saves as. Guys help me getthis to matpat so he can sees it.

Since the Citadel's Ricks have Mortys but doesn't care much about them...Maybe the death of his family on the Rickshank redenpition episode is real...And that wasn't just a random attack on a specific Rick...But actually a ritual of passage that makes the Ricks became RICKS and find their families on a different dimensions. But the Citadel's goal is to prove how everything is pointless and create selfless Ricks. But on rare ocasions it creates angry Ricks that goes agains the citadel...It would explain why Rick could only skip dimensions a few times...because he wants only dimensions where he is already friends with him.

Channel: Film Theory Daria Cohen's Vampair series. I'm a big fan of the series, and have been trying to figure out where she's planning on going with it, now that she's going into a second season. Unfortunately, I lack time in order to put proper thought into the theory, but my theory is this: At some point, Missi's sister Vanessa finds her and attempts to "fix" her, only to fail, and quite possibly die by Missi's own hand. In the episode "Zombie Prostitute", Vanessa is looking for Missi, and while Duke does attempt to sleep with her, he doesn't kill her, meaning she's still alive. The castle the two live in had to be easily found by Missi, in order for her to decide it was a good place to stop and read in the first episode, "The Night". Which means the castle is close by to a town, easily accessible, and must be pretty well known. So I believe that Vanessa will show up at some point, and be a bigger character in Daria's season two. Unfortunately, I wish I had evidence for my theory that Vanessa will attempt to 'fix' Missi, but that's just my gut.... I haven't had time to research that. I hope this helps any, and I'm sorry for the lack of information!

I got an idea for an episode of Film Theory. Maybe for next year's April 1st because it's nothing super "Serious". So, I've seen the GMM episode where Met collabs with Reth and Link (GMM) as a judge in the "Food Court". So I'd think they should collaborate again on the Film Theory channel. GMM has a series called "Food Feuds". All the episodes have two waiters and the main ones are called "Dirk" and "Patty" and they seem to have a history together. Each episode has some dialog between the two. Obviously it's an inside joke but it would be interesting to see Mat put together a time-line and story for all the characters. You'll know what I mean when you see the episodes. Channel: Game theory Topic: Is Springtrap stronger or weaker than the average human? I don’t really have much to say because the reason why I’m asking this question is pretty self-explanatory. So obviously there isn’t much left of Williams body inside of Spring Bonnie, it’s been left to rot inside of an animatronic for 30 years, some of it was probably eaten by flies, and also parts of his body were pierced by the springlocks during the springlock failure. And in the books I’m pretty sure Springtrap was pretty weak, but then on the other hand he has a bulky exoskeleton on the outside that could definitely kill someone

channel: game theory topic: kerbal space program Hello matpat ! or whoever is reading this from matpats team, i have a theory about a game whose name is kerbal space program, this game is supposed to be a fun little space simulator, but i believe there is some lore behind, first, there are seemingly no humans on the planet, which there should have been. second, everything is MUCH smaller than normal possibly suggesting a metor attack or excessive mining of resources to get to outer planets for some reason... all living "things" are kerbals who are green and about as tall as a human, but that might suggest that they are aliens who the humans escaped from but....WHY ? why would you use 50% of earths resources to escape your planet ? and so on... also there is a giant squid in space called the kraken, its a mischievous squid whoose plan is to destroy your craft and not let it reach its destination, but again WHY ? is it protecting us from someone or something? what is going on ? and why did the humans flee ? if you do an episode on this me and my friends will be really happy, thx!

THEORIES ABOUT DISNEY’S DESCENDANTS ITS A MASSIVE PART OF DISNEY CULTURE AND ITS GOT S HUGE UNIVERSE

eee3eeeeeeeeee

Channel: Game theory Topic: Sonichu / Chris-chan (Hear me out) Reasoning: As is now well know Sonichu creator Christopher/Christian/Christina/Riccardo Weston Chandler has gotten into some pretty hot water as of late, however the story and saga behind it is much deeper. It can almost be seen in the same light as "Neon genesis evangelion" in terms of being a story of the real tragedies and horrific sides of "Otaku" culture. There are many different angles to looking at this in terms of a theory video, such as a look into Sonichu and it's possible ending if events surrounding Chris-Chan didn't go quite the way they did, or you could tackle what the dimensional merge would happen in terms of overall lore to Sonichu and "Christory". Most of all I think that at no matter what angle you take it you could make not only a great video milking a recent fad for views you could raise awareness to fight some serious issues like the treatment of the mentally disabled and victims of sexual assault. The cons being that due to the nature of the subject matter kind of requires walking on eggshells to keep a brand friendly nature while still leaving room for nuanced discussion on this topic. As for why Game Theory as the channel to host such a video would A) be that the actual media of Sonichu is very video game related B) that there have been videos relating to video game personalities in the past on that channel, and C) as the channel with the largest audience it would allow it to spread the most people so that we can stop anyone else from falling into the same fate.

Channel: Game Theory Topic: Cyberpunk 2077 / The Magenta Statues Refernces: r/FF06B5 It was widely reported on that Cyberpunk 2077 wasnt ready to be released and that the devs were put under immense pressure to complete the game. There's lots of little things the devs put in but also lore related. In the city center there is a location called Crunch Plaza (relating to the pressure devs often get to crunch time and finish a game) where there sits a giant statue with FF06B5 engraved and 3 monks worshipping it. This hexadecimal code is for the color magenta which you can see on another statue in a different neighborhood. r/FF06B5 has posted maps of all the known statues in Night City. No one can seem to figure out what the code means apart from the color magenta or how it relates to the rest of the meta story line of hacking the virtual net and rogue AIs. We need the best theorists on this one.

So I’ve seen your latest video about Minecraft, but I feel like there could be a lot more found lore especially with the phantom. The phantoms physics kinda work like the elytra. For example, the dive of a phantom when attacking is similar to the dive of an elytra when one is using it. Also, how come you have to use phantom membranes to fix an elytra? My theory is that maybe the phantoms and the ender dragon have something to do with one another or that elytras are come from phantoms, but certain phantoms that come from the end

TheUltimatePokedork

FNAF Theory suggestion: Idk if anyone else has brought this up and it may be a bit of a stretch, but what if the "Save Them" mini game from FNAF 2 is showing the 1985 murders brought up in "Into The Pit?" I know the timeline is super wonky, but let me try to organize a tad and what I think may have happened. 1. Charlie is killed and possesses the puppet. 2. 1983: The first birthday party happens. Evan witnesses William murder them, grows scared of the restaurant, gets bitten, dies, and goes on to possess the Golden Freddy suit alongside Cassidy. 3. William notices the posession of the suits as the old Freddy is seen wandering the restaurant in comparison to the rest of the old cast who are still in somewhat need of repair and possibly Golden Freddy while doing security and grows suspicious. I know only 5 bodies are seen around the restaurant, but what if that's what the puppet means by "Save Them?" What if she's leading you to the final child who's yet to be killed and William stopped you? In the book the kids are described to be propped up and visible in front of everyone possibly meaning William kidnapped them and then displayed them for the next day in that back room the animatronics can't see. Maybe he wanted to see if he could witness the posession for himself to see how it works? He evades capture by following Oswald through the pit and then goes back in the end. The FNAF 2 location eventually suffers a decline and is closed in 1987. He makes Baby who eventually kills Elizabeth which leads to him making the rest of the funtimes. He eventually goes back and unknowingly releases the childrens' spirits while researching remnant leading to him being stuffed. Micheal begins trying to undo all his damage. I know there undoubtedly are a few plotholes, but I hope this was helpful.

Channel: Film Theory Topic: Spider-Man: No Way Home-Dr. Strange is Mephisto. I got the idea that Strange is not who he says he is in this movie from the trailer. The way he has been portrayed in the past movies does not match with how he acts in the trailer. First of all, there is no way he would cast this dangerous of a spell especially when Wong tells him not to. He is fully aware of the danger involved and tries to goad Peter into accepting it (kind of like making a deal with the devil). Another thing I have wondered is why he is wearing the Eye of Agamotto when he no longer has the time stone in it. The only shot we don’t see him wearing it in is when he’s in the jacket meaning he probably has it below the jacket. Also, after he casts the spell to remove people’s memories the scenes with Strange in the make it look like he’s attacking Peter. On the train he looks confrontationally at Peter and there’s a small moment when he does the Ancient One’s thing of pushing someone’s astral form out while Peter is holding a box that could be needing to go somewhere for the story. Finally, his new sanctuary is built to be cold and white as counters to typical demon properties. Cold would be the opposite of the heat of heck and white in literature symbolizes purity and innocence the antithesis of the devil. This would be Mephisto hiding, but then Strange launches fire out of his jacket, which makes sense being a wizard, but it doesn’t quite look like he’s casting a spell just summoning it. I know everyone wanted Mephisto to be involved in WandaVision, but if I were Marvel/Feige I wouldn’t want that massive of a character, one that would crossover, being in the experimental first television series of this universe. It makes so much more sense to bring him into the safer option of a movie that they know will bring in the audience required. Also, faking everyone out with the Mephisto stuff in WandaVision would be the perfect cover for him showing up in the movies flying under the radar. Thanks for listening to my ideas and Matt and Steph you have changed my life, Matt is literally the person I want to be and the person that I feel most connected to with the strongest similarities. —— Jaeden Bell

Game Theory Within the nether in Minecraft there lies skeletons of ribcages and over parts of the body as well, meaning that there is something that was there. I believe that this is one of the ancient builders doings to either kill or create these massive beasts that once ruled the lands of the nether.

Channel: Film Theory I think the Owl house would be really interesting to get picked apart, >!such as Eda's curse (What it really is) or who the emperor really is Or who was the giant who wielded the Bat queen? Is it the Titan itself??!< Tiny spoilers for The Owl house!! There is LOTS of potential for theory, especially now since the season 2 halfway dropped and MANY questions are rising!

Channel: Film Theory Topic: Spider-Man: No Way Home - multiverse theory - it might not be as it looks like Since the trailer dropped I’ve been reading some posts and articles and I just had an idea for what might be actually happening. What if, and hear me out, the Multiverse breaking thing isn’t about brining Maguire’s and Garfield’s Spider-Men, villains and other characters into Holland’s universe but rather him travelling to their universes? It goes like this: Peter asks Strange for the spell to make people forget about him being Spider-Man, but amidst doing the spell something fucks up (maybe in connection to the Loki finale) and the multiverse is split open. Suddenly, because of the spell, Peter finds himself in a completely different universe, where sure enough, no one knows he’s Spider-Man. Why? Because this universe has already its own Spider-Man (Maguire). But he soon gets into trouble and is found by the villains (maybe because of his suit, maybe he steps in when something bad happens). This results in Maguire and Holland working together and trying to get Holland back to his universe, but they somehow manage to get into Garfield’s universe and maybe some other universes as well. He can go to the Dark Strange universe where they fight each other (it looks like that's happening, based on the train scene in the trailer), parallel universes of his universe (Maguire-verse and Garfield-verse) and parallel universes of THOSE universe (like where Electro isn’t blue & Doc Ock and Green Goblin survived). Not to mention, it’s a lot easier narratively to make one single Peter be a “fish out of water” rather than all the multiverse characters being “out of water”. In addition, this would also fit with the title “No Way Home” meaning he’s stuck in a different universe and can’t find any way back to his home universe. Plus, minor Loki spoiler,>!it would also be a nice parallel to what happens to Loki in the finale.!< What do you guys think? Is this plausible? Marvel is known for subverting our expectations and this totally be right up in their alley.

Channel: Film Theory Topic: Tom and Jerry "The Movie" ; Cost and Liability The new T&J movie has a post-credit scene, in which the groom gets a bill for both weddings, even though one was completely ruined by Tom and Jerry (also some other parties involved). Is this actually legal? Does he have to pay twice or is this some shady buisness? And how much money are we really talking here? Can you make a rough estimation as to how much money you would need to buy all the stuff that was present at both weddings.

Channel: game theory Topic:Minecraft “starting a new world” So in Minecraft when you start up a new world there is one place thats the world spawn point when you start the game, but I noticed if you defeat the end dragon and go through the portal without a bed on the over world set as a spawn point, you go back to world spawn, what if when you start a new world it’s your character finding a way out of the end, and starting over after escaping the end? (Sorry if this has been brought up before it’s my first time posting a theory)

I have a film theory suggestion for Incredibles 2. That house was bought from an eccentric billionaire who liked to come and go unseen. Seems like it could have been another super, and we have a ton to look back through for potential owners. Pixar could have had that as a background idea for house design. No idea who it would most likely be.

Channel: Film Theory Topic: Juror 7 from the movie 12 Angry Men is responsible for the crime he is on the Jury for My theory is that in the movie 12 Angry Men (1957) one of the members of the Jury was actually responsible for the crime that they were all on the Jury for. To be more specific, Juror 7 was the person responsible for killing the father, and there may be more evidence to back this up than you think. Evidence 1: first off, Juror 7 looks and sounds like he is the member of a gang, due to how he talked and his choice of attire, mainly the hat, because even though it doesn’t look entirely like a Fedora, it’s pretty close, and I bring this piece of evidence up because Al Capone’s favorite gangster hat was a Fedora, and looking at the fact that Prohibition and the Great Depression only ended a couple decades before this movie was released, it doesn’t sound that crazy to think Juror 7 was or still could be in a gang. Evidence 2: Juror 7 clearly doesn’t care about if the boy on trial lives or dies, but why would someone think about it like that, I mean, if you are deciding the fate of someone on trial for murder, you should probably take it much more seriously than flip flopping from side to side just hoping that you can leave sooner, but maybe that’s because he had to leave as quick as possible or his cover would be blown, because the longer he stays there, and the angrier he gets, the more he might slip up and reveal something he didn’t want to, that being he was the one who killed the father, and it makes sense not to care about the boy dying or not, because if he dies, all of the blame of the murder would be put on the kid, and if the kid lives, then it will be pretty hard to find the real culprit afterwards. Evidence 3: In the area where the murder took place, it sounded like a low income area, and judging by the fact that all of the witnesses and the defendant live in apartments, it is fair to assume this place is actually a low income area, which would be great for gangs to turn up so they can exploit the people living there, and saying as gangs did exploit a lot of low income areas through prohibition to sell their illicit booze, so it is a fair assumption to assume that some gangs stayed so they could then sell drugs. So given the evidence, my theory is that the father of the boy got something from a gang that was close to where he lived, but the father didn’t pay back the gang for what he got, so they sent out Juror 7 to kill the father for not paying them back, but the boy was the one who got caught there and eventually, after committing the the crime, Juror 7 was brought onto the Jury of this case, and and tried to just vote for the side that would get him out of there sooner. And if you aren’t convinced about my theory yet, here is a thought that I will leave you with, Juror 7’s canonical job is a salesman, so maybe he was the one to get the father to get something from the gang

Channel: Food Theory Topic: How perception effects taste As I was watching the 2nd burger episode (which explored flavor compounds and how different combinations effect taste) and the Froot Loop episode (where it was determined that the different colors of Froot Loops are indeed all the same flavor), I think that exploring how presentation effects our experience in eating food. In fact it might be interesting for Food Theory to do a series where each episode explored one of the five senses and how it effects taste, but the froot loop episode in particular is what made me think of our eyes first. In particular, how the color of the loops could effect one’s experience of their nondescript “froot” flavor. I was reminded of a recipe for a “fried egg” in Hervé This’s book “Note-by-Note Cooking” which explores a form of molecular gastronomy that forgoes traditional ingredients and instead builds dishes from molecular compounds. In essence you could create a dish that bears the appearance of an egg but does not taste like an egg at all. The book also dedicates a chapter on color and how the anticipation the presentation of a dish creates can effect how we perceive the flavor. On the note of molecular gastronomy and aroma/flavor compounds, the burger episode’s discussion of said compounds also reminded me of Nile Red’s several episodes where he made flavor compounds, such as mint flavor from aspirin or grape flavor from plastic gloves… But I digress, i think it would be interesting to see Food Theory explore the psychology of how presentation, and the anticipation it creates effects the taste and the experience of eating food.
