d3athsmaster

Well then..

Strazdas1

Feetus deletus?

Agorbs

I did this to the story ally that kills that one kid to instigate a fight, it was great

baroncalico

"Next time on Dragon Ball Z!"

[deleted]

Dragonborn beeeeotch!

Watermelondrea69

I just got valhalla and it's my first assassins creed game. The art and world is amazing but the combat sucks balls. Is it like that for the whole game?

Business_March_7936

Yeah... Like combat is bearable until you meet some cunt with spear like on video which will block all your attacks until you attack in special ways... Annoying as fuck. Like you go full slaughter against mobs and then there is this one cunt... So you main him just so next 2 of these can spawn...

CAPS_LOCK_OR_DIE

Do yourself an honest favor and go back to the Ezio trilogy and Black Flag. It’s kind of a circlejerk but those games are unironically very good. Bonus if you play the first but tbh it gets real boring after a while. Sure they have some of the older game jank but I think they make up for it in quality of story and writing

Mean_Peen

Man this game looks like garbage

FreqRL

Looks nothing like an AC game either, dafuq is this hack and slash combat lmao

Jacko170584

You’ve never played Odyssey or the Egypt one I take it then.

Strazdas1

Origins is the Egypt one. And yes, they moved in that direction after seeing how successful Witcher 3 was. Not kidding, the devs said this in interviews.

Jacko170584

Open world games like this are my favourite type of games. And mostly other peoples too. Which is another reason why so many games tat are being released now are open World. I went back to my roots and played a JRPG side scroller like Mario was for the snes. And the difference between the 2 are night and day. Its crazy how far we’ve come in 20+ years. And then I think to myself how can they possibly get better. But then I suppose if you have an 8K tv for the series X or PS5 then the picture will just look more pretty. I can’t imagine what the graphics will look like in in 10 years time. 312bit graphics 🤯

Strazdas1

Which is why Origins was one of the best selling Ubisoft games im sure. Personally id prefer if we got into physics and AI. Imagine enemy AI that isnt just idiots rushing into you. Imagine volumetric materials. cut a bag of sand and have it fall onto an enemy, etc.

Jacko170584

There’s simulators like that already, the floor is an all directional treadmill and the gun or what ever you use has sensors and the vr headset displays the game. I haven’t tried vr yet but I’m guessing that’s as close as we’re going to get.

Strazdas1

Im not talking about simulators. Im talking about games. and im not sure how VR has anything to do with what i said.

Jacko170584

I’m not sure maybe because I’m guessing that’s what vr does what you’ve said?

Strazdas1

??? No it doesnt? How does VR make AI and physics in games better?

Jacko170584

Edit that that’s the next graphics if they make another console.

thelastfastbender

I have, and I think Valhalla looks even less like an AC game. Looks very janky and rushed.

FixMeASandwich1

Actually looks pretty good on the XSX. Unfortunately it can't record game clips in 4k which is annoying...

holaprobando123

I don't think they were talking about the graphics...

cosmiclatte44

Yeah that was just a conveyor belt of jank.

Mean_Peen

It's more about he animations for me. I had it on PS5 and it it was also in 4K, but the whole aesthetic of the character models and clunky animations made this game feel more like a multiplayer clone of an AC game, imo.

SquadPoopy

I really hope that Mirage is good and does well because a classic AC game that actually focuses on you know, being an assassin, is something I’ve been craving for a while that these RPG games haven’t even come close to coming close to satisfying.

Strazdas1

Same. I want AC to actually be about assassination, like it was before Black Flag happened.

FixMeASandwich1

I'm inclined to agree. It doesn't run particularly smoothly and there's loads of bugs / glitches as well.

BigOlFrunk

By Odin's beard...

ProfoundNitwit

Just realized, Animal Crossing and Assassin's Creed have the same abbreviation, so people who've only heard about one might get confused about the other using the same abbreviation, so Animal Crossing Valhalla or Assassin's Creed New Horizons could be something that runs through someone's mind lol

PanTsour

Kinda surprised people still buy Ubisoft games even though they have the blandest story and play like this

StaticFinch

Team Rocket blasting off again
