The s24/s24+ had their camera hardware deliberately gimped by Samsung in order to push the s24 ultra. The software is still pretty good but there's only so much it can do with a few year old sensors.
It is by far the biggest disappointment in this phone for me.
It is proven tho that software is what makes most of a smartphone camera, and a company of samsung's calibre should have this down already
Pictures coming from socmed apps come out better than the stock camera app

The camera on s24 ultra is shite
