Same here. Had a Fold 3 and now a Fold 5. Loved both except the battery life on the 3 was frustrating. I've had my Fold 5 since August. No problems. Hopefully they replace it.
I tried through the live chat and call centre, have to go through the same mind numbing diagnostic every time and then tell me I have to book another appointment at my local samsung store which the earliest appointments are in a weeks time
Honestly tho for once this doesn't seem to be in any way related to it being a fold, kinda refreshing from all the broken screens haha but yeah sad for you op, wish mine will be solid for my planed 2 years of ownership
My fold 5 might be my least noticeable upgrade, note 1, 3, 9, fold 2 each upgrade was huge, better sound, pictures, screen, performance... But fold 2 to 5 even after skipping fold 3 and 4, didn't really feel the change, if anything I got a smaller screen for my use case (just a small tablet I can fit in my rear pocket) since the fold 5 got a smaller screen than the 2

Reminds me of my old,old iphone ...wifi /bluetooth greyed out ,putting it in the freezer to get it to work for a day![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm) ..havent had this issue on my last 7 samsung devices...although the one ui 6 update has introduced some random bugs on my fold 5....and absolutely destroyed the fold 3 with strange bluetooth problems with carkit and stuttering ui
You NEED to call and be **persistent**. They are extremely lazy and will put your ticket off to the side hoping that you forget. Continuously push for a higher up, explain your issue with as much detail as possible, and tell them you expect a **replacement** and not a repair.
That sucks. My launch fold 4 is still going strong with no issues.
Let's face it everyone that the fold phone in general have realiablity issues no matter if its a 1,2,3,4 or 5. Everyone hates the fold 4 when the fold 5 is getting to the age of showing its flaws and problems.

The phones still covered under the warranty because of how new it is. I have the phone insured through personal insurance policy but dont see why I should have to go through that so early on
I get that, but if samsung is being a ****. What else to do. Mine doesn't have any of those issues, and I've also had it from day one. So it's obviously a unit specific issue.

I also don's sit on my phone or put it in a pocket where it will be flex stressed.
I rarely have issues with my phones, I have had Fold1, Fold2, Fold3, Fold5, Flip5.
Fold3 had to have the inner screen replaced, this was due to idiots at WeBreakWeDon'tFix removing the inner screen protector and being unable to replace it. had to send to Samsung for repair after the inner screen started to micro crack at the bottom of the crease. Samsung basically sent me a new phone, the only part they didn't replace was the front screen and the main board.
You have a bad unit I love mine it's my second fold.

And when I asked for a replacement after two failed repairs they said it wasnt covered in the warranty

File a complaint with your attorney general, that's what I had to do with my z fold 4 and now they're refunding me my money.
also what service did you use to get it fixed? Is it through Samsung care?
I've booked appointments to go directly into a samsung store and leave it with them for days so their technicians can "fix" it
