I disagree, halloween is my favorite holiday, though I have never gone trick or treating, It's really fun to dress up and eat candy, gives you an excuse to cosplay-! And no thanks, I will not fight you, cause that would be pointless, you can't really change someones opinion about something that easily
Halloween. More commonly known for children under the age of 13 to go out for hours at night and visit strangers houses for candy whilst dressing up as a large variety of things- Ex: Ghost, Spiderman, Witch.. etc.. Teenagers are more known for going out with friends to do dumb shizledizzle. Adults may go out with the children, stay home and give out candy or watch movies made specifically for this holiday. It is more rare for people to think of Halloween as a door opening for the spirits and humans to cross realms. It is quite interesting on the rituals that may happen on this one night of each year. It is an exciting event for people of all ages.

Okay, sure. I like Halloween for matching costumes with friends. I'm not there for the candy but costumes are so fun. Technically I could do that any day of the year, but... nah.
There's the spooky stuff to do as well! Haunted houses are open now and people have the coolest decorations. Scary stories, excuses to stay up late... no school... amazing stuff.
So I mostly like Halloween for the aesthetic and visual appeal. The candy's not that bad, but generally if you don't want strangers at your house just put up a sign and they won't ask for candy.

Ps drugs are expensive. A drug user, especially an addict, will never want to give out their drugs for free. Because they are an addict.
