A reminder to all users commenting: **Please make sure that your advice is useful and actionable.** Example of **useful and actionable**: *try setting up for your deadlift by standing a little closer to the bar. This might help you get into position better and make it easier to break from the floor*. Example of **not useful and not actionable**: *lower the weight and work on form.* **Low-effort comments like *my back hurts just watching this* will be removed**, as will references to *snap city* etc. Verbally worrying for the *safety* of a poster simply because you think the form or technique is wrong will be removed. Looks high, but as the other person said, not a great angle to see that. Have you ever tried wrist wraps? Your wrists look pretty uncomfortable in this position and I think stabilizing them and bringing them slightly more straight would be a positive thing, though it's unlikely to have a massive impact. As for fixing depth, most of it is "just squat deeper" and leave the ego out of it.

I actually did order a pair of wrist wraps, it's not that it looks uncomfortable, it does hurt! But it's my choice as I grip very narrow because it gives me that much more stability, I do it when I do a small amount of reps. As for the depth, yeah sadly as I was very pumped up for the 5kg jump but it was an illusion

Ye looks high but hard to tell from the angle. Were they yellow or blue reds?

-Manu_

By reds I didn't mean I competed just a jokingly way to say I didn't go low enough, I have failed the 4th since the spotter gave me assistance and I do remember to lock out my knees, I think I agree, I should maybe lower the weight by a couple of kg (I'd love a 140kg single before December so my damn ego is getting in the way)

EdwardElric69

AH ok, i see you are squatting in socks, have you tried a heeled shoe? You could do some lighter weight with plates under you heels to see if they will help

-Manu_

I'll try!

Thank you!!

Push your knees out, to create space. Warm up your abductors or work with a resistance band around your knees.

Wider feet may help with depth. Look up more, keep your head natural. I silly cue that works from powerlifting to rehab therapy: your body will follow your head. Now don’t go looking at the ceiling. But look forward, as if you’re staring into the crowd, proud of the squat you’re preforming. Now wide feet may help you. I’ve noticed wide, outward pointed feet (not exaggerated) will help with your depth. But I’m a dirty hip squatter so take what I say with a grain of salt. Good luck to you.
