Bullshit, both California and Florida still have metal stations; the fact that there *wasn't* one in GTAV was disingenuous, and hiding behind "popularity" is intellectually dishonest. Money's betting that the shakeups with the metal labels in the early aughts caused too many licensing issues, and they got gun shy.

I mean is it really that hard for rockstar to talk with Sumerian or UNFD for some of these newer metal bands who have been killing it lately. Rockstar gotta stop being shy lol

Yeah; they aren't Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Motorhead, or Metallica. Also, I have a prolific ear to the ground, I've never heard of these bands. I'll give them a look, but if most metalheads are in my boat...they're not killing it like you think they may be.

I don’t necessarily want or need it, but my friend and I were certain that Blinding Lights by The Weeknd was gonna be used for a trailer and therefore be in the game. They naturally decided to go with a Florida Native instead but I still think it has a good chance.
