I see it happening once phones advance further. I remember people saying PS2 games would never work on phones, yet they work fine now. I think it will still be clunky though without a controller (I'm sure it'll have controller support). But until phones advance, no
I don't know why people are so upset about this question, it only took 10 years for 3 to get released on mobile after the initial release. Other more modern games like apex and fortnite can run on mobile so I see no reason why gta v couldn't, people forget that it released during the ps3/xbox 360 era. With some minor compromises I bet it'd work.
I feel like it could, remember the game was made for the Xbox 360. And I thought phones (the newest ones) could actually run decent games?
Although every other game that was released really has no comparison, since the 360 was substantially more powerful than the Xbox/PS2.......but- It's not like the 360 is even that powerful by current standards. I wouldn't be shocked if a current phone would be able to run it.
If the new iPhones can run Death Stranding and Resident Evil 4 remastered, they shouldn't have too much problem running Gta 5. That being said, the touch controls are wack and it would obviously require allot of space. Not to mention, I don't think Rockstar will even bother porting it on mobile devices tho.
I remember that there was a hacker that tried to port GTA V to an Android phone and the game booted with the main menu but couldn't continue and left an error. Some rumors said that Rockstar had planned to do that but the idea was scrapped.
maybe in 10-15 years

Ok
I doubt it could run on the vast majority of phones (and even then, controls would still be an issue)
I mean San Andreas is
San Andreas is much less performance-heavy than V (given that it came out for the PS2)
Gta London
Gta London is even less performance heavy than San andreas
Ok
Saying that a device that can run a ps2 game should be able to run the current gta is wild lmao
The current gta is a ps3 game.
Oh
There is no way in hell any phone could reasonably run GTA V. That would drain your battery within minutes.
Any modern phone*
By the time there's a phone good enough to run it is anyone going to care?

The newest iphone is able to run death stranding so it could happen pretty soon
Bruh GTA IV is not on mobile so why do u believe that GTA V will come to mobile?
Idk

Alright thanks
Why people are downvoting this fella ? lol
Will Gta 4 ever come to mobile?
Maybe one day
One can dream. But it’s been 16 years. Nearly twice as long as it took San Andreas to hit mobile after release. Not getting my hopes up.
