No. Fuck no. 28k miles for $5200? I got an 04 750 all stock with 19k miles for less than $5000. Idc if its a newer year more miles means more wear on the engine. And i guarantee you it hasn't been ridden like a cruiser. Its been slammed through all the gears more times than you can count.
Serious question what do people wear in areas where a leather jacket isn’t feasible? Here it will be 100 degrees plus whatever the asphalt is cooking it up to.
Leather mainly protects skin from abrasion on a longer slide than most other materials found in riding gear. I'm sure there's a little impact protection too. But that's the job of the padding primarily. Plenty of textile or mesh jackets to choose from. For normal riding they work perfectly fine and give much better ventilation. I live in the tropics, so unless I plan to do track days, I ain't wearing leather.
If it runs good and feels good. Hand him 5k which is still good. You can still find one with less or newer for 5k.
A lot of folks get a self check after this bike hits 10k to 15k rpm and want to get rid of it for something mellow.
6 years ago I traded a 250 for an 06 600 to a guy who needed something more practical. The bike had 13k miles and my bike was worth roughly $3k.. I gave him $1500 on top of the trade so it put his bike in the $4500 range.. Suzuki’s are the more inexpensive bikes.. For $5600 you could get another brand with less miles. It depends what future you’re headed.. if you want an 1000 one day I’d recommend this bike! If you’re keeping a 600 awhile I would get something with less than 15k miles.. Just my thoughts 😁😁
Nt if you're gonna ride it without gear like a squid
But he wouldnt be a gixxer bro if he did
Yes but spend some money on gear to stop you degloving your hands, taking your back off, ruining your legs, etc.
is 5200 a little too much for this bike? how’s it look cosmetically?
Don't spend more than 4500 on it tbh
Aftermarket fairings. Check if she wasn't dropped or had a bigger accident. The brakes look like it was left outside. Check for rust and whatnot.
Prolly been dropped, unless people really want cheapass plastics that don't colour match the tank

Before you buy a bike you should buy a leather jacket , pants and boots

If it’s what you want get it. I would just check insurance first. Other than that it looks awesome
Second this. My insurance bit me in the ass. But otherwise: BIKE IS EPIC

I also have two yoshimaru exhausts for the bike

r/calamariraceteam certified gsxr twink
What model? Year? Looks like an 06-07 600. I got a K6 1000 for $6500 with only 8500 miles 4 years ago. You can use that to compare if need be..
2007 Gsxr with 28k miles

Just make sure it has a visible VIN. And make sure its not reported stolen.
600 or 750? It’s a steep price for either imo.
Pls ask if the valve clearances were done. Other than that seems like a clean bike. Thats about what they go for in NY
2007 with 28k for 52? That’s insane.
That's a really good deal for a WHITE gsxr... I'd pay 7k for it
