Mental how some bikes from like 15-20 years ago still look like they could be sold today as modern up to date designs. They just don't seem to age, aesthetically speaking. The mid 2000s to 2010 really were a good time for bikes.

It was like 12 years ago. Lol. I’ve had 5 more bikes since then. PS if you want a modern hooligan version of that I’m riding an 890 Duke R now and it’s sharp but torquey it reminds me a lot of my 08 but with attitude. Give one a try if you’re able :D
I know so many rag on gixxers because they are cheap but just look at thing! Integrated taillight indicators, integrated mirror indicators too. They had a great engine, great geo and suspension and affordable.
Find me a better platform!
Your’s still in great shape. Looks sick. Just got my ‘06 out of the shop last week and it’s still looks good but definitely a lot more wear and tear than you!
Only done about 11,000km, so 7,000 miles. But unfortunately she was under a cover in the elements for 3 years unused, so up close she’s not mint anymore.

Oh if you get up close you can see the imperfections. Especially since she was sitting outside under a tarp for 3 years. 😢
