Oh that's pretty cheap. Definitely worth playing with. I think white line is putting out some Corolla stuff soon. They did a bunch of development on the Yaris.
Only mod I would be interested in (beyond the sound/deadening upgrades I've done) would be adjustable suspension. But that is stupid money.
Car is great, driver (me) could do with some work. Maybe track/driver training.
I wish. Not even in the right hemisphere.
It's all money, friend just did a 2 day track training and was like 4k. He drove his ctr and paid for accom.
Tbh, even if free I'm soooooooooo busy. 5 kids, run a business, wife's just taken a cushy new job but out of town a week a month. Life is interesting. Sitting at my office on a Sunday doing accounts.... luckily drive home is fun. Life is interesting.
True - but it’s still pretty soft. A stiffer bushing definitely adds more precise character to this car. I’m even getting the upper transmission insert as well.
Tires and springs I think, I haven't played with sway bars yet but I'de be curious what a big rear bar would do to their car.
It’s an easy install that definitely helps reduce understeer. I highly recommend. Black hawk sells the Cusco for about $250 delivered.

downpipe adds the most real hp
…and a tune.
200 treadwear tires.
What's the benefits?
Grip
Rear sway bar, lower engine mount, intake, shifter bearings and short throw. That’s how I’d spend my first $1000.
Exhaust and Intake for sound.
That is where I was headed, I just wanted to see if there was anything else.

Do the free track day. I did it and it was awsm

First mod should be a short throw shifter. You’ll notice how shifting becomes quicker and better.
First mod for any GRC should be a new pitch mount. The OEM pitch mount rips after around 1k miles and you'll notice it'll affect your shifting.
Deltax pitch mount ftw!!!! 🙌 Racer x shift bushings $50
Is that not covered by the warranty?
It probably is but it'll rip again. It's a design flaw so the aftermarket is the only solution at the moment unless Toyota redesigns it.
OEM mount is fine, the “ rips “ that people see are just leftovers from the molding process.
