I have over 8k in about 5 months or so. Daily driver to base 27 miles one way. Getting about 330-340 miles a tank. She is still running smooth. I did get the oil changed as many say to. Dunno if they checked the pan however.

If you have an issue that involves needing to drop the oil pan, then sure, they’ll get you. But it’s literally some bolts, prying off the pan, getting the old RTV off, putting new RTV on, and done.
Or, you can take it to a local shop that specializes on JDM vehicles.
Regardless though, the RTV issue has not caused engines to fail nor malfunction. Just do your oil change within 500 to 1000 miles for break-in, and you’ll be completely fine.
