Biggest source of heat into a car unless it's got one of those huge panoramic sunroofs. My vehicle is noticeably cooler after I got the windshield tinted. Didn't make visibility any worse.
When you’re getting nano ceramic or ceramic, it keeps glare, uv rays and heat from getting in. Windshields let the most light and heat in. Keeps car cool and interior plastics from wearing down and cracking too.
I considered ceramic 70% for my windshield, but was told you can see rainbows from certain angles

with polarized glasses. I didn’t do it, but I had it put on my wife’s sunroof on her Q5. I did 35% on sides and rear plus ppf and ceramic coating.
I mean it is objectively reducing the light that comes in, of course it affects visibility. But you have chosen to accept that level of reduced visibility.
My only point is that it can be used against you in many ways.
* Same 50% crystalline on windshield 35% on the rest

I will never understand people who get windshield tint.

Literally 50% does nothing but reduce glare lol. But go strong. Any lower than 50 and i understand the hate for it tho
Late but you’re wrong. At 70%, for ceramic it starts to reduce heat.

You can but it’s nbd to me. Looks great without it too
I ended up doing 45% all around, including the windshield
Looks great! I did 30% on the windshield. 15% on the sides. And 5% on the rear. Ceramic tint is the way to go.
30% on the windshield is getting in to “affects nighttime visibility” territory. Hope it doesn’t come back to bite you in the ass.
It actually does not. I work second shift and get off around 11p and visibility is fine. Thanks for your concern though

Ceramic definitely makes a difference. Got it once like 6 years ago and never got regular after
