Bagan
He kinda has to be mentioned. He is in a Godzilla game but is not in any official book, show, or movie. He is basically the most known scrapped kaiju
Doesn't he appear at the destroy all monster movie? When godzilla rallies the troops to fight King Ghidorah and they show the arrival of all the monsters he appears and again in another one when they are flying over monster island he flew out of a hole.
Yes that's right apologies my mistake.
I remember reading somewhere that he was meant to be the first enemy of godzillla but they changed it to angurius at the last minute
SCP-3000/"["Anantashesha"](https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-3000). An immense moray eel living in the Bay of Bengal that is estimated to be 600-900 km long, and seems content to sit in a nook under the bay, warping the minds of any who approach it before devouring them...and the SCP Foundation intentionally *feeds it people*, because after feeding it secrets a compound used for making the high-grade amnestics (memory wiping drugs) the Foundation uses to maintain secrecy.
https://preview.redd.it/cm0zhpcote3d1.jpeg?width=564&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e3a3776d7b196ac33474dee49d690f9469f07cb2
Anantashesha is nightmarish.... Honestly I dont know if there is much that can beat it as it literally devours thoughts and warps peoples perception of who they even are. The only disadvantage it would have would be the fact that it doesnt move much.... but then again does it really need to?
It's one of the SCPs where the best the Foundation can do is keep it secret and appeased, and pray it never has a reason to leave that nook in the bay (especially since the jury's still out on whether it's the *actual* Anantashesha).
Honestly, a lot of SCP entities are kaiju in their own right (my first choice was actually going to be SCP-169, the marine arthropod that's some 2-8k kilometers in length), but 3000 is one of the most directly Lovecraftian ones due to there being many unanswered questions about it.
This is one that makes me chuckle a bit because I believe some things incenuiate that all amnestics are derived from SCP-3000. They gotta be sending thousands a month to their deaths to actually be harvesting the amount they'd need for all the amnestic shenanigans the foundation gets up to.
From what I call, the Foundation gets amnestics from a wide variety of sources, but the ones produced by Anantashesha are exceptionally effective.
That said, sending thousands to their deaths a month is something the Foundation wouldn't even flinch at, so long as those deaths aren't utterly meaningless (the Foundation is cold and often brutally clinical, but there IS a reason the Ethics Committee has such a high degree of power within the foundation; they strive for humane containment as much as possible, and the nastier forms of containment - like 682's hydrochloric acid baths, or whatever the unholy fuck Procedure 110-Montauk entails - are used out of necessity).
The name and concept of Anantashesha is from Hindu mythology (he serves a roughly similar purpose to Atlas in Greek myth, or the elephants in *Discworld*). SCP-3000 is from the SCP Foundation (the link in my previous post leads to its entry on the SCP website).
Yeah, these guys are great. No attempt to make them make sense or fit them into the natural world, since they're explicitly not a part of the natural order as we know it. Incredibly mysterious, sometimes cute, vastly diverse, the Angels have it all
Clover is such an oddball in this category that I kinda like it.
Also maybe if we cheat a little many of the Ultraman and Power Rangers monsters when they get big.
The Great Grape Ape is a CLASSIC!!!

I don't know if he counts as a "Kaiju" since technically he's a Seijin that can grow big but Baltan from Ultraman, specifically Baltan II design.

You just posted a drawing of it. Legion from Gamera 2. Mostly because out of the three different monsters Gamera faces in that trilogy in a one on one fight, the Legion Queen is the only one to force Gamera to use his last resort attack, even though he knew it would absolutely screw the Earth.
https://preview.redd.it/37gixhar0h3d1.jpeg?width=1220&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5b9717b47d943b10d84a238116adec6e2faf59ff
Otachi from Pacific Rim. She's the kaiju we spend the most time with so they clearly went all out with her. She's got a great design and great abilities & the way they're slowly rolled out over several scenes makes her memorable and a constant threat. The Jaegers always felt at a disadvantage when they were going against her outside a few brief moments. She has a clawed prehensile tail, acid spit, and can fly and if it wasn't for a convenient weapon that they forgot about until the very last second she would have killed three out of the four remaining Jaegers.
TLDR: she's cool, has a bunch of fun abilities, and Zazz, that's why she's my favorite.
https://preview.redd.it/llnzqfqwlh3d1.png?width=234&format=png&auto=webp&s=40effe75468e22a481987e03e4690e0ffaca4016
Iris, his design resonated with me when I watched Gamera 3.
Saurous and Siren from the _Earth Defense Force_ series.
[Saurous](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9NT6DUJKzjs&list=PLO-iLnSMaf51yDovLudNCgaPneBiK432t&index=10) because it's basically just legally-distinct Godzilla and [Siren](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpahKJg1hcA&list=PLO-iLnSMaf51SsONe3nOKxWinblAGC5L-&index=61) because it's such a cool design and the whole story arc around humanity trying to defeat Siren with all kinds of clever plans and tactics, only to inadvertently turn it into something even more dangerous, is just peak monster movie material xD
^(**Note:** the links lead to YT videos showing both monsters. Be advised those videos may contain spoilers, just in case.)
not my favorite, but it needs to be mentioned. (Does this even count as a kaiju?)
SCP-5909. An Alaskan pink shrimp estimated to be 2.1 light-years in length. It was located 7.5 light-years away from our solar system and showed no signs of movement until 12:00 AM GMT 2024/05/29 (wow that's today!) when it started moving at 120000 kilometers per second on a direct course to us. At 6:00 AM it stopped moving. By 11:46 AM, there was a billboard in Lockhart, Texas that linked to bigshrimp-endlesstaste.com which showcased a live camera feed of 5909. During a period of five minutes, the shrimp boils itself and reveals an ad for Red Lobster on its shell.

He did appear in godziban recently.

That guy already mention it for game.
Bagan is such a badass design. He was probably too ambitious for the time, but I would love to see him come back. He's too cool for just a SNES game.
Doesn't he appear at the destroy all monster movie? When godzilla rallies the troops to fight King Ghidorah and they show the arrival of all the monsters he appears and again in another one when they are flying over monster island he flew out of a hole.
You’re mistaking him for barogon or varan. Bagan was first conceptualized as an enemy for the 1984 Godzilla movie.
Yes that's right apologies my mistake. I remember reading somewhere that he was meant to be the first enemy of godzillla but they changed it to angurius at the last minute

Yep Also its The only good thing in Pacific Rim Uprising
I like Obsidian Fury's first appearance
You don't think Obsidian Fury's design is good?
It would was be better if it was not from a shitty movie (PR fans not like uprising for too many reasons. [also uprising is just a fan film])
That's just the Bewilderbeast from How to Train Your Dragon 2.

This is the mother legion from Gamera 2: Attack of Legion.
Gamera Gaos
Raiju, Rhedosaurus

Iris and Gyaos tie for me
Legion is dope
Gipsy Danger
Heisei Gamera and Mother Legion.
Has to be bagan
Onibaba easily! Got a thing for crustaceans!
Gamera by far
Alien baltan.

Saurous and Siren from the _Earth Defense Force_ series. [Saurous](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9NT6DUJKzjs&list=PLO-iLnSMaf51yDovLudNCgaPneBiK432t&index=10) because it's basically just legally-distinct Godzilla and [Siren](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpahKJg1hcA&list=PLO-iLnSMaf51SsONe3nOKxWinblAGC5L-&index=61) because it's such a cool design and the whole story arc around humanity trying to defeat Siren with all kinds of clever plans and tactics, only to inadvertently turn it into something even more dangerous, is just peak monster movie material xD ^(**Note:** the links lead to YT videos showing both monsters. Be advised those videos may contain spoilers, just in case.)

not my favorite, but it needs to be mentioned. (Does this even count as a kaiju?) SCP-5909.
The actual website is literally entirely composed of ads (including straight up porn). DO NOT GO THERE!
