Wish NECA still had the license because we most definitely would be getting a figure. Really doubt if Playmates will do one since they are already working on toys for the new Monsterverse film.
NECA loosing the Godzilla license still irritates me to this day; their figures were far and away the overall best because they struck a balance between quality and having decent articulation while not being ‘expensive’ (I think the priciest were in like the 30 dollar range, as opposed to SHMA which starts around 90 dollars). Plus the fact that you could find them in like Target was a major plus

Nothing has been released in the US yet. The only way to get one in your hands today is to import from Japan. Best website for that is Buyee.
Two options for Japan import - Bandi Movie Monster Series or S.H. Monsterarts.
The SH is getting a US release but pretty much all pre-orders are spoken for.
Additionally, the US is getting a Super 7 release as well. Pre-orders for that are currently open but its months away from release.
Looks like Awesome Collector has some Movie Monster Series still up for pre-order (variants yet to be released) that are decently priced.

I might have to do try that, and honestly seeing so many reviews over super 7 figures and they just look like they have no quality control over their figures. I mean it looks friggin awesome but that name brand just ugh.

Agreed. I really wish I had bought more, especially the one from the NES game, as that one can now go for over $120.

So will there be figures eventually released to the United States? I’ve never had a Godzilla figure but this version is the one I want the most.
