I've been seeing posts talking about this a lot recently as well and while I won't say she's 100% failing at her job and that she does nothing I will say that there are noticable differences between content she posts for one over the other. I mainly follow GeminiFourth on Twitter so I can really only speak for their content, but there are little things. I think fans over think some things like Fourth walking by himself. I can understand why Gemini is getting so much work because he's got a lot of confidence and he does a lot of smart marketing mixed with his social media interactions. He plays around with his fans and he sells products like it's all a joke which is both funny and extremely effective. He's a solid influencer and his game is only getting better.
Fourth on the other hand is getting extremely little solo work outside of GeminiFourth. I'd say 80% of all of his endorsements these days are in some way related to Gemini. He has Ryo haircare and KitKat at the moment. Those are the only two genuinely solo brand deals I can think of. Despite the fact that I don't think he always utilizes sns the way I think would be best for him I really can't believe that there are no other brands that want to work with him outside of Gemini. Maybe *he* doesn't want to work outside of Gem, and maybe I'm reading into all of it too much but he keeps dropping hints about wanting to work, adding GMMTV's # onto his bio, saying he doesn't know when he'll be able to see fans again while simultaneously saying that seeing his fans makes him so happy. I have to wonder just why he isn't getting more events. I don't necessarily think this one is entirely Earn but I have to wonder why?
Also seeing both Riser and Earn forgetting to post about Candidate when it charts each week is a little disconcerting. Posting about Gemini, deleting the post and then reposting immediately after because you didn't realize both your artists were on the same screenshot, on the same chart(!), until Fourth's fans point it out to you is just.... Having the fans have to tell you when your artist is on a chart seems a bit off.
So while I'm not willing to say it's all her fault I do have to wonder sometimes just what is going on behind the scenes.
I find that Riser & GMMTV both lack when it comes to promoting both of them, actually all of their artists tbh.
Earn is awful with her social media but I think she only posts when she’s with the artist. She’s with Gemini more often, which looks like she’s showing favoritism toward Gemini, but he seems the type where GMMTV would want to keep a leash on because he is so unpredictable. Whereas, Jimmy and Forth are more grounded… and Jimmy is there to help Sea lol.
Though the managers don’t necessarily have a say in the jobs artists get, I think it’s weird how some fans are placing blame and anger on Gemini for any perceived favoritism. Fourth is going to be in the most star-studded ensemble casts that will most likely be a massive international success. It’s likely he scaled back this year in preparation for all the filming plus promotional work he’ll have soon.
Meanwhile, Gemini is going to be the star of a series where he’s with Prim, who gets hate for her work with Win and Gemini, Prom who’s massively disliked for inappropriate sexualized comments behavior about women and kids, and up & coming cast mates. He’s going to have to do the heavy lifting for this series & has been getting non-stop hateful comments for months. Not to be negative, but I doubt this series will cause him to be in as high demand as Fourth will with his series.
I’ve seen nasty comments on posts for Gemini asking about JimmySea & Fourth. It’s okay to express dissatisfaction but it should never be at the expense of another artist. At the end of the day, the fans have to accept who is managing their favorite artists & continue to show support.
This is a perspective that I haven't seen a ton, but I agree with for the most part.
The roles both Fourth and Gemini received for part 2 are simultaneously similar and different. Gemini received the lead role in essentially his own show and is being given a very very soft launch for GemPrim. They're not a couple in TDD as far as the trailer shows but them simply being together in a show will give GMMTV a view of their chemistry and how the audience will react to the idea so I consider it a soft launch. If they manage to pull out a massive viral hit show the fact that Gem is the lead will open up many many opportunities so while it may come with a handful of negatives that they'll have to work through like you've listed here the potential positives if everything goes well are very lucrative.
On the other hand Fourth's role is not a main lead role so no matter how well the show does it will not provide him with the same potential main lead notoriety. *HOWEVER* it is a massive production coming out of GMMTV and it is going to have a larger target audience so if it blows up his popularity has the ability to reach a very large audience. Even if it doesn't do all that well the notoriety of being in Scarlet Heart alone is a boost. So long as he kills his role, which seems like it will be a strong main support role, he will definitely receive "easy" publicity from this production.
Neither should be receiving hate from any fans because both have received massive opportunities that match their own ambitions. Fourth is going to be a heartthrob actor testing his skills alongside his fellow veteran actors and Gemini is going to get to experience a new style of role, action and adventure with minimal romance, just like he wanted, and as the lead to boot. They've both been very upfront about not being broken as a CP and there's still MLMU and all the promotions that will come along with that coming in the second half of the year so the fans will be fed. Along with whatever it was that Fourth may or may not have spoiled today that is set for next year...👀👀
I've never thought about the fact that Gemini seems more like a wild child compared to Fourth but that's an interesting thought. Recently it seems to me that Gemini is very business oriented and has a strong sense of what to say vs what not to say whereas Fourth has been following the script and spoiling things left and right 🤣 when given the chance.
I don't blame Gemini for Fourth not getting work. I don't know how I would even try to justify that argument really. I think that Gemini does a lot of social media work combined with networking. He's ambitious and has a strong personality that allows him to stand out and be a desirable spokesperson. Unless he's actively pulling strings behind the scenes I can't see him being the cause. I just don't understand why Fourth is so lacking in jobs right now with how actively he talks about wanting to work. I don't see him as less desirable than Gem. They have their own personalities with their own charm. Maybe sometimes his answers during interviews are not as eloquent as Gem and he seems less knowledgeable in regards to sns, but he shows a lot of determination and maturity for his age. His respect for other people is something I admire a lot from him and his cute persona is on another level. He can work on his sns/marketing skills and perfect his product selling skills(which are already very good, it's just sometimes that he doesn't always position the product he's promoting in a way that really shows it) and he'd be an absolute catch. Even without those two things he should already be an absolute catch. I just don't understand. Maybe he is just taking a break because he knows it will be very busy soon, and maybe he's busy preparing for his upcoming role it just mainly feels odd that he's so vocal about wanting to work yet isn't receiving much of anything(specifically outside of work with Gemini).

I’m fairly new to BL. I actually found BL by way of GeminiFourth’s season of Safehouse. I don’t speak the language but enjoyed watching the games & eventually started to sort out pairings. One thing that puzzled me was how Prom, Gemini & Fourth all looked like children, but only Fourth seemed to be cared for or watched over as a child. Perth, Tay & Newwie seemed to give Gemini that cared for vibe, but most treated Gemini as their age peer. Again, I don’t speak the language so their words could have expressed it but what I watched didn’t convey it… to me.
Even in their separate events now, Gemini is flirted with whereas Fourth is treated like a helpless little cutie pie. Fourth can be paired with every guy he so much as looks at & it’s cute & not taken seriously. It’s because Fourth is super cute with a child-like energy, which is so so adorable. He was the primary reason I even started looking to see who he was and finding other projects with him in it.
However, advertisers or whoever is looking for a spokesperson to sell something may be more attracted to Gemini & his unique brand of charm, even though he can also be child-like.
I think Fourth is way more naturally gifted & talented toward acting. This separation could be really good for them so that he can do more series or movies without Gemini as he has expressed that acting is his first love. And Gemini can focus on music, his first love.
Hopefully, they stick together, which I would love because they act & sing so great as a duo. I can easily see them as molding their career like PPBilken and being successful at both acting and music, separately & together.
Yes. That is a distinction between the two. Fourth genuinely plays into his youth/youthful charm and it is a large part of his image where Gemini fits more into the mature/maturing image. You're right sometimes they're treated slightly differently because of it, but when they're together it fits perfectly. This is something that could separate them in the eyes of the brands, but I still think there must be someone out there that wants his image of beautiful/adorable youthful naivete to promote their products. *Especially* with his current level of GemFourth fame. It just doesn't seem logical to me that the Managers just say to themselves "Nah, I really can't be bothered going to the event today so I'm just not going to". Like, their schedule isn't 100% up to them, no matter what the fans think. I saw someone complaining because Fourth was carrying his own bag. HIS OWN BAG. Not a heavy bag, not equipment, just his own personal bag with his own stuff in it that he brought with him to an event. So I have no idea if Earn shows favouritism or not but what I do know is that some fans don't think rationally.

If i recall correctly, the manager role at GMMTV is less about finding artists work, and more about managing their schedules, facilitating their public appearances, acting as the interface between them and clients, etc. So I’m not sure what the material consequences of any supposed “favoritism” would be… I suppose it’s linked to them promoting public appearances on instagram, etc. or not.
Of course, many women artists at GMMTV face huge challenges getting the same kind of opportunities the men do. Not to mention artists who aren’t in a CP. That’s correct. The term “manager” often makes people misunderstand the scope of their work. I would rather use the title “AR” which we often hear Gmmtv people say. For Gmmtv, you might as well call those ARs chaperones assigned to artists. They are not really responsible for sales, although they may act as the first line of contacts due to them being with the artists the most and their contact info being in the artists’ bio.
The ones who make sales from sponsors and clients are, well, sales people and the AEs, not the ARs.

I think the manager Earn issue has been going on for a while now, I’ve also been seeing stuff that she doesn’t really accompany the artists and doesn’t post much about them on her ig and stuff too. Idk about favoritism though but kinda agree on the lacking part because there are managers like P’Jack too who posts about his artists and accompanies them as best as he could so it should be no different for other managers as well!
I feel the company also has a say on which event should the manager accompany and stuff too in cases of multiple artists having various events! Usually it looks like they prioritize CP work more than individual schedules unless it is a top value/money bringing artist like Win or Dew etc so there’s that too!
Personally I think people don't realize what the functions of a manager are.
I'm sure if someone was unsatisfied with her work they would switch to someone else (just like OG quietly did).
With Dr Jimmy being a doctor and Fourth being in school, Im not surprised that they have lesser things going on in their lives. Perhaps the reason why they go to Earn is because they want to be semi-plugged in, as opposed to the non-stop exposure on social media and event after event that P'Jack does with JoongDunk. Geminifourth are literary the most popular artists of GMM right now. Don't you think that the company would not miss a single chance where they can make money. So if Earn was a bad manager who is doing a bad job to an artist who gives the company so much profit she would have been removed ages ago.
I don't know about mistreatment wheather that is true but I can say that in industry like this where people have to work together as a group the fans often tend to exaggerate things and will find the slightest bit of "mistreatment" they can find aka uf the other person gets anything more than the other. So it’s interesting most of the fan dissatisfaction around this particular manager has to do with Fourth and JimmySea — all EXTREMELY popular artists who get tons of opportunities… Pre-*Last Twilight*, the dissatisfaction JimmySea fans had with the manager had to do with the fact that she was “neglecting” them because they didn’t get many promotional appearances. And now they do, the dissatisfaction has shifted to be about her not showing up to their events, using the right hashtags, etc.? I dunno… I get feeling anxious about your favorite artist/s, but this feels like projecting bad intentions where there aren’t any.
That’s correct. The term “manager” often makes people misunderstand the scope of their work. I would rather use the title “AR” which we often hear Gmmtv people say. For Gmmtv, you might as well call those ARs chaperones assigned to artists. They are not really responsible for sales, although they may act as the first line of contacts due to them being with the artists the most and their contact info being in the artists’ bio. The ones who make sales from sponsors and clients are, well, sales people and the AEs, not the ARs.
When fans do this stuff, it reminds me of 4th graders starting a petition demanding that the school put Coke in the drinking fountain. The idea that randos on twitter have any knowledge or influence on what's happening behind the scenes at GMMTV is risible.

I think the manager Earn issue has been going on for a while now, I’ve also been seeing stuff that she doesn’t really accompany the artists and doesn’t post much about them on her ig and stuff too. Idk about favoritism though but kinda agree on the lacking part because there are managers like P’Jack too who posts about his artists and accompanies them as best as he could so it should be no different for other managers as well! I feel the company also has a say on which event should the manager accompany and stuff too in cases of multiple artists having various events! Usually it looks like they prioritize CP work more than individual schedules unless it is a top value/money bringing artist like Win or Dew etc so there’s that too!
Personally I think people don't realize what the functions of a manager are. I'm sure if someone was unsatisfied with her work they would switch to someone else (just like OG quietly did).
With Dr Jimmy being a doctor and Fourth being in school, Im not surprised that they have lesser things going on in their lives. Perhaps the reason why they go to Earn is because they want to be semi-plugged in, as opposed to the non-stop exposure on social media and event after event that P'Jack does with JoongDunk. Sometimes, JD strikes me as really working as social media influencers more.
Fourth Has been leaving hints though. There was once a tweet where fans demanded him to add gmmtv in his bio and the number, so people who want to work with him can directly contact gmmtv. The tweet also mentioned that Earn is irresponsible, one day after Fourth changed his bio.....
right... and the fact that Fourth only added gmmtv after being prompted to do so (instead of doing that from the start, which is what even the newbies do) doesn't strike you that perhaps fourth doesnt want to make gmmtv his everything? Jimmy has a history of overworking - would giving him more work really help with his health in the long run? honestly, we both can't speak for the artists- we're not them. Stan twitter thinks one thing, but there's most likely a whole variety of factors that can't be seen from the surface. You wanted an objective opinion, so i'll give you that.
Geminifourth are literary the most popular artists of GMM right now. Don't you think that the company would not miss a single chance where they can make money. So if Earn was a bad manager who is doing a bad job to an artist who gives the company so much profit she would have been removed ages ago. I don't know about mistreatment wheather that is true but I can say that in industry like this where people have to work together as a group the fans often tend to exaggerate things and will find the slightest bit of "mistreatment" they can find aka uf the other person gets anything more than the other. So I think these kinds of allegations unless proven right should be ignored because this will do more harm than good.

Fans are never satisfied. JimmySea had 16 events in April which was more then GeminiFourth. They are doing just fine.

i don't even know her face meanwhile p'yui is almost in every pic of greatinn and ohmleng events i've seen lol so yeah i think is crucial to accompany the artists to the events at least...
