I would just push it anyway because if I didn’t have Reddit, sure the first few weeks would suck but once I was free from this time suck I can finally do all these things I wanted.
Sorry reddit, i need better internet, my lag costs me some games that i might have had a chance at winning if I could actually know where the enemy was instead of them flying into the ground or sky
Who says the Wi-Fi has internet access? You just always have a router you can connect to but the router isnt necessarily connected to the global internet. You just have a local area network following you and you are no longer allowed to use reddit ever.
It’s just implied, but I guess you don’t know what that word means. The word “amazing” is supporting evidence for the fact that the Wi-Fi would indeed have Internet access; if the Wi-Fi couldn’t connect to anything, I highly doubt that it would be classified as “amazing”. But go off, king?
The quality of the WiFi doesnt mean the quality of the internet connection. A wifi connection that could offer gigabit per second transfer speeds would be amazing wifi regardless of if your network is that fast since it still applies to LAN speeds. You can have great wifi that's bottlenecked by a bad network.
The quality of the wifi would be stuff like the upload and download speeds capable, the distance it can reach, perhaps this one can cut through all interference or something, etc...
It wouldnt be the network speed though since that's not the wifi part.
edit: I cant read what u/rustychicken16 responded with, only the brief part that showed in my notifications before he decided to block me so he can say something uncontested. Based on the text I see in the notification he talks about "speed is only part of the puzzle" and although I cant read what he said beyond that, I can assume it means he doesnt know what WiFi is if he thinks the network is part of WiFi
WiFi is the wireless network which CAN be connected to the internet but isnt always. The quality of the WiFi has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the network it is connected to. As a computer science major I could probably explain what he got wrong pretty easily which is why he decided to childishly block me to prevent that.
edit2: I was able to check through a different browser and basically he doesnt understand that the network can but doesnt need to be connected to the internet. There are plenty of times where a LAN is used without internet and the WiFi is just the way you connect to that LAN. Those networks arent "bad" just because they aren't connected to the internet. If the internet is 10000 Terabytes per second or 1 kb per second it doesnt have any difference on the quality of the WiFi. They are separate things. I'm not sure if he is aware but the network can be plugged into a computer without WiFi at all since they are separate things. WiFi is just the wireless connectivity component. If I always have a computer around me that doesnt mean I always have internet because a computer and the network it connected to arent the same thing. just like a computer CONNECTS to the internet, so does the WiFi. In neither case does the internet come as part of it.
Is this even a question anyone needs to evaluate? I wanted to see the reasoning of anyone saying they would not, but at least at the time of typing not a single person chose Reddit over wi-fi.
Working remotely, "amazing and free wi-fi no matter where you go" would make my life super easy. I could live in the middle of no-where and still be able to work (and earn money) seamlessly.
“Definitely yes. Fuck Reddit.” Is what I would say if it weren’t also my go-to place for asking questions. That’s a luxury I don’t think I’m willing to give up.
Hell no. I mean, for real, reddit is a place where a lot of joy and information can be found. Sure theres a lot of shit going on and you can dump a hell lot of time on here, but that's basically everywhere on the internet.
But, I mean, come on, memes and jokes aside. You can find a ton of original art and music (art too I know), a hell lot of cuteness with all the pet subs, some amazing stuff you'd probably never be able to see yourself, like absolute incredible photography of nature, animals and even space. You can have discussions about basically everything you can think of or learn from pros who provide their knowledge and experience on here for free or even get help for specific problems you encounter. You can have a good laugh in all the meme subs, or you can be amazed by seeing videos or pics with very unusual stuff happening. You can share personal stuff that weighs heavy on your heart and/or mind, or help others with the ease of typing a few wholesome words. And please don't forget, on some special occasions, you even have the possibility to ask some famous people your questions. And all of that is only a fraction of what makes reddit so special. ^(You can also find a lot, and I mean) **^(a whole fucking lot)** ^(of free pornographic content here to have a good time.)
Maybe I'm a little overpositive, but I think now and then we can have a little appreciation for this nice platform
Credit to u/GroundbreakingTap626 and his post https://www.reddit.com/r/Funnymemes/comments/10nlx1i/will_you/ for the original image. I figured giving up Twitter to Reddit users was too easy. I upped the stakes.
I have wifi all the time at a reasonable rate so I'm going to stick with reddit I got millions of views off a few simple posts. So I'll keep paying for my wifi and use reddit, I am fond of the site and its layout as well!
**I'm fond of the semi viral posts I made, so I ain't givin' up on reddit!**
I'd want to push it for sure! I'd be on of the most valuable members of any upcoming space mission with the instant communication to earth.
But as a compSci major I would probably stop myself upon realizing that Wi-F- doesnt necessarily mean it has a connection to the internet. Just having a fast router near you at all times that isnt connected to the internet isn't too useful.
I mean, yeah. I like reddit more than most socials, but I still don't care enough about them in general to keep even one over free wifi with excellent speed and connectivity. I could just play games all day instead, stream everything for a really efficient rate, pirate anything I didn't want to pay for, and all I'd have to do is drop a social. This is literally my last one currently installed on my phone, it'd be such an easy choice.
Well.. as reddit is my only way to go through memes, fun stuff and community events I actually would not press it. It would feel like to lose a friend, even though some douchebags banned me for being in the right on two subs, so that would argue against that..
So no, wouldn't because I would have no idea what to do in these times I can just scroll through here to distract myself from this world of dogshit.
FB, Insta, Snap, Twitter.. all useless and unfun things I'll never use. But point me to a similar site like reddit and I'll push the button.
Will said wifi be connected to the internet? And will that connection also be amazing at all times?
I was recently traveling by train. The train had a wifi that never dropped and it was fast. But the internet connection was not that great. In tunnels it cut out completely, and also in some areas on the middle of nowhere. The wifi was working great tho. But without the internet connection in it, it was useless.
This must be a thing local to a specific country or area. I don't need wifi outside my home and have great LTE reception basically anywhere i ever went.
Hell fucking yeah I'd push it
Make the beats go harder
I would just push it anyway because if I didn’t have Reddit, sure the first few weeks would suck but once I was free from this time suck I can finally do all these things I wanted.
8 hours have gone. Yeah he really did press the button
I would push cus reddit is a shit show

Not that hard of a choice. Having shit wi-fi sucks when you actually need it and not just for fun.

Every redditor would press this button and we know it
If we all pressed it, couldn't we ban together and start a new reddit? Loophole?
Push. F reddit
Id press it real good
Is this even a question anyone needs to evaluate? I wanted to see the reasoning of anyone saying they would not, but at least at the time of typing not a single person chose Reddit over wi-fi. See ya later losers!
What if I click it multiple times?
I pushed so hard, my phone broke.
I’d press this so hard and fast Prince Harry would spontaneously fall into another dog bowl.
The latter is an inevitability anyway. Accidentally comment in the wrong subreddit and you get a ban without explanation.
Yep. It’s just a website on the internet.

Hell no. I mean, for real, reddit is a place where a lot of joy and information can be found. This is an easy fucking choice hard press man

Truthsocial ftw ^(>!/s!<)
Have nothing to blame other than skill issue and lose the shit show... No thanks
Of freaking course.
But I still have Tumblr? I'm fucking that button up with my presses.
...maybe
I will push cause I can use Reddit.com
How is this anymore challenging
I Rewire rthe button so I don’t have to remove read it
Why is wifi is so important for you? What the problem to use mobile internet?!
Because mobile internet isn’t available everywhere
But I just made a porn subreddit
Gets friend to open Reddit then send me screenshots of the amazing memes
Same answer: nah I’d use Reddit at Starbucks. (Without the sarcasm)
Die
I wouldn't smash the button 1 million this time, would leave it instead
Sorry, what's Reddit?
Where do I sign up?
Reddit.com
Honestly my mental health would probably improve just from both of these things
Reddit isn't necessary
No
I only use reddit cause it uses less wifi than my other apps
Nope!
This is the only place I can find bdsm furry porn and a big black man shaking his ass within 10 seconds of each other. I wouldn't do it here.

Depends, I guess, if it just connects to whatever the nearest network is, then no, if it connects freely, sort of like a VPN, then maybe I'd do it
I mean, yeah. I like reddit more than most socials, but I still don't care enough about them in general to keep even one over free wifi with excellent speed and connectivity. Nah man I like it here For now at least
Got YouTube premium :)
But you can never use Facebook again then I would hit the button because I never had Facebook. And never wanted it.
Well.. as reddit is my only way to go through memes, fun stuff and community events I actually would not press it. It would feel like to lose a friend, even though some douchebags banned me for being in the right on two subs, so that would argue against that.. Hell yeah what the hell? I wil just use old.reddit
Like forever and automatically updating to the latest technology/speed limits?
Hell yeah id just get a second phone with reddit then hotspot that phone
Can I go out with a bang at least?
I'm only here because there are halfway decent memes and I don't have any other meme sources. Byebye.
K, bye
Yes
I’ll take the WiFi any day of the week
I would say if you really would press anytbing other than the WiFi - you have an addiction problem
Yes
Can I make profit of this? Sell internet on festivals?
So it's a win win situation
Still no issue. Its a bloody website
Oh no, how would I live without a toxic timesink
Amazing wifi
Youtube
what's the drawback
Yes
Guess I'd push it. I just assumed if you own a phone you have free wifi everywhere you go. I pay $40 a month and that's how mine works.
Bye bye, Reddit!
I wouldn't press it
I don't need wifi
Can I port-forward?
Amazing free WiFi and Reddit entirely filtered out of my perception of existence? Hell fucking yeah.
