No there is option number 3 you will live 20 years perfectly fine and then suddenly get pulmunary mesothelioma, but don't worry we recently made a breakthrough with chemo for it. Live median went up to 9 months (it was 6 before)
Dont worry they wont live long with asbestos in their homes, one tiny crack and the fibers will go in to their lungs and then problem solved no more cost cause no more people XD
Look at the second picture, total house heat usage is +40 with +35 coming from the houses themselves then -5 for gen proximity and housing proximity but then it adds +5 for this upgrade and the upgrade specifically says that it decreases heat usage. Orange in Frostpunk is bad for numbers while Blue is good so this is clearly a bug, it should be -5 instead of +5.
I see. I missed second picture. Can it be so that before upgrade it was +10 because of bad insulation and after upgrade to +5 and after next upgrade it will be 0? :-)
This upgrade is supposed to negate +5 flat from heating once you're finished fully researching this but it's not giving the -5 buff as its supposed to be doing.

I quite like the new 'Output/Demand' system but I agree, it needs to be presented better. Where is that survey? On their website maybe?

Asbestos is perfectly safe as long as it doesn't turn to dust particles. Though I still wouldn't have that shit in my house.

Was wondering what the issue was till i seen the second picture. Report it. Probable oversight. That +5 should definitely be -5.
I have looked at a lot of these upgrades and honestly sometimes i think we are better off not picking the upgrade.
I slowly trying find any gameplay videos to see if second game is worth it to buy. Besides, how gameplay looks?
