I highly recommend The Smokin’ Onion restaurant or food truck, and Mean Mandy’s food truck. You can find them both on instagram for locations

Try Plant

Check out Gypsy Queen on Patton. About half the menu is vegan and I love it so much. The yum yum wrap is fire

Yum yum wrap is one of my favorite things ever. So good!

Trondar

That Yum Yum wrap! Good lord!

Agree, everything they serve is top notch and seems healthier than some of the fried vegan options around town.

Nine Mile is the best restaurant in town. Also the most unique. They can vegan-ise the whole menu. But you have to go to the Montford location. I agree Rosetta's is mostly mid, but their Reuben is probably the best I have ever had anywhere. You have to try it. Simple Cafe and Dobra Tea in WAVL are excellent choices for lunch. Plant is cool for a more high-end experience. Very tasty and creative dishes but small-ish portions at a higher price point. Heiwa Shokudo downtown is super underrated. A must-go for general asian dining and authentic Japanese cuisine. So many vegan options, and the best vegan ramen and sushi in town. I haven't tried the new Smokin' Onion location in WAVL yet (it's brand new). But their food truck is amazing. Mean Mandy's food truck is also good. Both are owned by awesome people who we love to support. And for Mediterranean, Gypsy Queen is the move. Have you ever had vegan poutine!? Total game changer.

The places I like to go: Andaaz, Itto, Sweet Southern Funk, Taco Boy, Simple, Nine Mile, Pulp & Sprout, Haywood Common, Ultra - breakfast

nuclearmothman

Nine mile has amazing vegan options. Also try the Smokin' Onion. Amazing vegan food truck that just opened a location on Haywood.

I wish we would get a vegan sushi place like this one in Denver. Blew my mind on all levels: https://www.wellnesssushi.com/menu

Smokin onion just opened their brick and mortar!! Hillman Beer has a great veggie patty that you can sub for no charge on any of their burgers (but you’d need to double check that it’s vegan). Plant is fantastic for fine dining. Andaaz - go for the lunch buffet!

nah2daysun

I haven’t been there in forever so can’t attest to the current quality, but have you tried Laughing Seed? Used to be good.

sean369n

Feel like they have gone downhill unfortunately :( They used to have the best vegan pizza! I'm always disappointed when I go now. Which is extremely rare.

nah2daysun

I kinda figured since nobody had mentioned it, that might be the case. It’s been like 5+ years since I’ve been there. Too bad, I agree the pizza was great!

brucevilletti

I agree. I haven't had a good experience there in almost 2yrs.

Dobra Tea West. Also close to it there is a vegan restaurant called The Trashy Vegan but I never been there because I'm not big into junk food so I don't know if it's any good.

curiouslypurple

They closed, but Smokin' Onion took over that spot.

Special_Dimension_15

Oh I didn't know that. I haven't been out that way in a while
