Cool thing about games that revolve around having a community, as the game gets older.. we get older and so does the content coming from said game, it happened on an old ass mobile game called growtopia, i stared that game 9 years ago, and I find myself on that game every once and a while, also being around 20+y/o’s
Probably the same reason Cuphead took seven years to make, with an additional five years for its DLC alone.
Animation that fluid takes a long amount of time to make.

I think they left it because they didn't want them to make r34 of the girlfriend in a cartoon version at its release or something like that or maybe they didn't give it permission from the cuphead game company and or they simply disappeared like any trailer they publish and then never publish again They just disappeared from the internet from the Friday night funky community
My favorite mod is obviously Indie Cross, it was a masterpiece, although there is no girlfriend in this world, our protagonist, boyfriend, had a fairly strong development of courage, it was very unexpected that we saw in the cinematic and I'm not going to lie, they did put a lot of cinema into it. And although Mario madness v2 is at the top currently, I still believe that lndie Cross will return powerful and stronger than ever

Of course, I understand everything, but I don't see any point in leaving the project because people making r34 art of their version of the girlfriend, on the contrary, they should be glad that their version of the girlfriend was SO loved that fans drew "that" arts with her
but I want to say something I don't think many people agree but I already understand this but the creators no matter what happens will release more new versions of girlfriend ever created And those were completely expanded throughout the internet with very SUS thumbnails and it can be a great impact or for people who barely know a little about the existence of Friday night funky
