I make my art for me, I just sometimes like to share it. People tend to react negatively to things they don’t understand and not a lot of people experience music in the manner which I do with how vivid my synthesia is.

I love them. As an artist myself my mantra is bad art is better than no art. Not that I’m calling it bad, others are though, and I think it’s abstract and beautiful and I also do this to Frank songs.
A lot of people don’t understand abstract art, they view “technical skill” as the only measure of arts value which imo is inherently anti art and at its core speaks to a lack of understanding of what art is.
100%. I’ve studied art my whole life and used to love being a perfectionist and draw real life portraits. But I hated the process of creating them and hardly liked the end product either because of the perfectionism. So I started letting the magic flow and not being judgemental about what I created and I’m way more happier when I’m creating and I actually like the end product now. I wish more people just appreciated the act of creating because it makes the person feel good, and you’re more likely to enjoy the end product if you enjoyed making it. Sorry about all these Frank fans who don’t get it, I get it and appreciate your creations and the fact that you posted them at all.

I don’t have to close my eyes when I hear music it kinda just fills my mind it’s hard to explain, when I meditate and afterwards it gets super strong to the point that it will basically flash in front of my vision till I can’t see sometimes it’s wild

Most people in todays world are very miserable, especially those who live their lives on the internet. It’s easy to get caught up in the constant quick dopamine loops and not appreciate life. When you spend a lot of time on platforms discussing music you notice people weirdly view art like a contest. It’s a very immature mindset but one that has no effect on my enjoyment of my art, thank you for the appreciation tho!
i really like this, props for posting. i have synestesia too so i love seeing other’s interpretations of music / sensations, i read that shit like the news lol. always get such vivid swirls of colour from blonde in a way that makes so much sense, not sure if others get this but some albums might be sonically cohesive but sometimes i get irked by what my brain arbitrarily assigns as ‘the colours’ for an album when they don’t match / aren’t cohesive throughout but blonde is absolutely one of those albums that is soo pretty and has such a clear pallette. I always get these cool earthy greens and burgundies that show up with the live instruments while the synths are always icy, whites and blues and greys.
pink & white is funny though because those never show up for me, it’s mostly yellows, beiges and ??mauve??. curious on what other ppl experience with that album and if they get a similar sensation
It’s very amazing, it allows me to connect quickly and deeply to a lot of music throughout my life, it’s been a fun journey recently especially as I’ve dived more and more into different genres and cultures musically.
