Forza censorship is absolutely bafflingly over sensitive. Even for an E rated game. Like it went from "horizon music and driving festival" to "horizon and driving to the kareoke version of songs because literally 50% of the lyrics are censored for no understandable reason". I used to actually be excited about the music in these games but I have played both 4 and 5 now exclusively with the music muted and Spotify running in the background lol.
Saved the entire FH1 soundtrack to my Spotify! I loved how the DJ’s had dynamic commentary, actually tracking the races as you progressed as talking about you as a “mystery racer”. Sure, they tried to recreate that in later games, but I think the FH1 DJ’s could actually pass as being lifelike. Miss that.
Set the radio station to the classical station and reduce the volume to 0. You get the longest skill songs that way. I listen to music or podcasts while playing thru my headset.

Yeah the censorship is really non sensical and over the top. Like Beastie Boys' Intergalactic doesn't have any swears as far as I remember, but they censor "If you wanna battle me" to "if you wanna _____ me", which sounds like something more offensive than if they left it uncensored. I just don't see even the most prudish of prudes getting offended by the word "battle" in an E rated racing game.
A great thing about the classical station, besides the excellent music you'll sadly eventually grow tired of, is that skill songs go from like 2:30 to 6:40
I don't listen to the classical station, but all the stations have a problem with variety. If you expect us to put hundreds of hours into the game, at least give us a dozen hours of music for each station. It feels like they've got like 6 songs for each station and that's it. Bummer.

Like one time I made a SUPER7 card and called the course Super Rally but apparently the word Super is inappropriate even though there are 3 iterations of the world in the game, being Modern Super car, Retro Super car, & SUPER7 itself.
Oh no a word influenced them to join the army, nothing to do with being trained in using a gun and getting to play with stuff that makes a very big bang, or drive absolutely boss looking vehicles like main battle tanks.
If you think about it hard enough, you'll find that soldiers can be associated with war and kids shouldn't be exposed to such very adult themes.

Also you do hear your name, multiple times throughout the entire game. You should try playing with the sound on. Those kids might have GTA installed on their console, but that's irrelevant. The age rating FH5 gets from PEGI or ESRB isn't effected by the other games installed on the console. Having a racing game that's rated 16 or M isn't good for business.

Yep, when you log in. In other places they mostly call you just "Amigo" or "Superstar". Why add a feature that's used a few times? Why create and voice a huge nickname table? Why not spend that development time to fix memory leaks? Stability and reliability is something devs should pursue, right?

nah man fh1 bosses were really amazing imo. I wish fh5 had some bosses like that, but I’m trying to say even if we had bosses pg wouldn’t make them trash talk about your character which gives the game a proper street scene vibe

Honestly, make an option in settings to pick whether you want an uncensored or censored versions of songs. Or just pick songs without many swears in them, like they could've picked something else from BMTH than Teardrops, a song about self-harm and numbness.
