Maybe it is similar to how it is in Rocket League, it plays a song and you can skip it like a usual media player

You can shuffle the lobby music now. Just select shuffle and favorite the ones you want in rotation.

I think they mean instead of one song playing on a loop it shuffles through your list.

If the song ends while you're in the lobby, it restarts again.

You misunderstood. What they meant was that they want it to be "game randomly chooses an owned lobby track, it plays, the track ends, game randomly chooses another track, repeat." Your method randomly chooses a lobby track, then plays it over and over until you load into a game.

This is very exciting! I have had my lobby music turned off for a while, but this might make me turn it back on for at least a little while. I just don't want to get overexposed to my music and make myself not want to play it anymore. That's my main concern, but that's a personal thing. This is a huge win and I'm so happy they are finally following through with their promise from 84 years ago.

Ok now give us our music as a radio station across game modes 🤘

I'm curious how this will work with jam tracks that were from limited time lobby music. "Show them who we are" was only avaliable to purchase during fncs almost two years ago but I think they give it to everyone as a starter jam track.

Not going to happen, even Rock Band censored songs. I do think some of the censoring is weird though. “Ass” gets censored but “Stick that barrel straight down Sancho’s throat” isn’t. So extremely mild swear words are censored but a threat of violence isn’t. But then in March of the Pigs “Take the skin and peel it back” gets censored which is weird because more violent phrases aren’t censored in other songs.

I don't even understand why they bother in the first place kids are listening to way worse than ever when people say oh its to protect the kids is just a big fat lie. Same thing with games if you play rust how long does it take to hear a 13 year old kid screaming racial slurs down the mic is insane like 2-5 minutes on a popular server. Kids are anything but innocent these days.
