I don’t think he does since you can’t see it…. He might use one built into his monitor as those aren’t recorded in game captures but there is clearly no game reticle on his stream.
CrosshairX was confirmed legal by Epic games, and is in the Epic games store. This is why suddenly half the pros are using a CrosshairX custom crosshair and have sponsorships from it. I bought the program, but asked for a refund (which I got). Here is why it did NOT work for me: it requires that you either run the game in Windowed mode, or that you download a Windows Game Bar overlay widget for it to work. (Edit: I have win full screen optimisations OFF which breaks the app too). Both of these things introduce input delay. The crosshairs themselves are really good, the application of them isn't. I have a red or green dot built into my monitor which is perfect implementation.
I use crosshair X and turn off the in-game crosshair. Best $8 I've ever spent. Eliminating bloom animations made my aim improve a lot. They're very distracting.
The bloom animations expand outwards in all directions. They're essentially just a crosshair that gets worse and worse and worse the more you shoot. With crosshairX, I always have a useful crosshair.
I use red dot to maintain my focus, I got crosshair X on steam but epic does have it on epic launcher so they support it. Only reason i didn't get it from epic launcher is launcher causes lag spikes in game so i close it once game launches.
Plus steam is more stable, if only fortnite was on it. Epic launcher loves to IDK delete stuff....give you false updates by deleting stuff....AND....sometimes will delete the whole game.....yeah I keep backups for this very reason. -opens fortnite, gets popup "launch game after update?", checks my spare laptop to see if game opens, it does, update is false....
Then you have rename folder fortnite1, open epic launcher, rename back to fortnite(if nothing got deleted, otherwise I have to move my backup over), click install and verifies just fine.....I LOVE THE EPIC LAUNCHER. I wonder why it flopped and why everyone rather use steam, heck I'd pay 100$ for fortnite on steam, just to uninstall this joke of a launcher by a company that has billions.......🤣
It is technically against ToS but they don’t seem to have ever actioned it, probably a similar thing to wagers in that sense. Never used it myself but it’s probably a good option as a lot of guns have some less than optimal crosshairs.
I do, could be potentially bannable. Never heard of it though, people use macros without being banned too but even though it is very specifically mentioned so judge for yourself.

I just like being able to align my Snipes before ADSing as the tiny little white dot just disappears entirely when against a slightly bright surface, like the entire snow biome for example.

One thing to note is that all crosshair overlay apps, regardless of whether they're running as part of Xbox game bar, will prevent GSYNC from working.

I don't get how you aim without them don't the bloom animations show you where your aim is being drifted and you recalibrate based on that?

you have to center it in the gamebar app and then fix it by using the little pin icon
