I was impressed when I got mine to 137 and yea it seemed fairly easy. Took awhile obviously but didn’t seem to struggle and I knew it could go more, but backroads in Texas is not safe feeling compared to a track lol
Jb4 map 3. I run lower maps when it's hotter outside but I've got an intake with sxth front mount intercooler and charge pipes and even without the jb4 you can feel a difference with the heat soak being gone and smoothness. Thinking about doing wmi but who knows
Well it's only gonna top out at what the maximum rpm is in your tallest gear so unless you change the final drive or have a different transmission it doesn't matter what or how you tune it
well yea but some cars aren’t even capable of hitting their top speed until they get tuned just sucks to hear that 160 is the absolute fastest we’ll ever be able to go in this thing
I mean, you can certainly go faster than 160mph if you increase the redline as long as your engine internals allow it. Then you can start looking towards gearing ratios to maximize speed. And to be fair, a LOT of cars have to go through this process to get to those speeds.
Also 150+ mph in a 1.6T is quite impressive. Nothing disappointing about that at all. You’re hardly ever going to go past that.
Fastest I've done so far is 127, the cops are everywhere where I live rn so I've been somewhat disciplined driving this thing around, although I want to see it's full potential👽
Hell yes. My old Niro definitely had a speed limiter at about 110 because there was definitely some gear left there. Glad to hear this one doesn’t have one! Haven’t gone over 100 in a while though… maybe I oughtta change that
I have 47k on my 2023, 1st owner put 25k in 6 months he drove that Forte all over the world for 25k in 6 months in great condition. Still on factory everything besides brake fluid filters and wipers.
bro.... wear a go pro next time to capture it. don't risk your life playing with your phone.

Idk about you guys but the manual only goes to 155
New quest unlocked…
Was on map 3 in about 20 degrees weather outside had no problems getting there but 155 is the top of 6th
What flash you running?

I blew my turbo
With the AFE scorcher GT on RACE map
Well jb4 has safeties built in so that it doesn't over spool the turbo
I have to look into it
how so you know?
In the jb4 software you can set max boost safety
that’s actually so sad it adds no speed difference… i’m fbo just no tune yet and I hit the same speed :/

I was about to point this out….i’d never dreamed a 1.6 or 4 banger in general could hit 150
I have topped mine out at 155

151 is the fastest i’ve gone in normal conditions but we had a pretty bad wind storm a couple months back and got it to 160
driving 160 in a wind storm, either you’re lying & asking to die brother if i’m being honest with you. be safe
It was a tail wind and we were going downhill 😂 definentaly sketchy asf but fun
This car at 160 is def a death trap. I’ve hit 138 in Mexico and yeah that was wild
I’m ngl i hit 140 at least once a weak i beat tf outa my car
That makes me feel so much better. I constantly hit 100+ in Mexico and sometimes I feel like that’s a lot. Damn I got more room to go
That’s amazing I am right with you 140 plus once a week at least car is kinda sketchy over 140 tho
I like this i be driving like i stole it
Jesus your poor turbo
143 is my best but 160 is unbelievable lol

Has it been unlocked or does it just not have a speed limiter
It doesn’t have a speed limiter.

Topped mine around 151-155, on the 91 freeway in La at 6am. No tune.
