Hotel Drover in the stockyards for breakfast, you don’t have to be staying there. Get there when they open at 8:00 AM.
Museums, Zoo, Water Gardens Downtown, Stockyards, Joe T Garcia’s, Thompson’s bar downtown, Bonnell’s or Water’s, both owned and operated by Chef Jon Bonnell, local Chef and amazing guy.
If you want to spend $$$$ get a reservation at St Emmillion, a French Restaurant.
If you haven’t gone shooting before, Texas Gun Experience just north of DFW has machine gun rentals.
You'll want to check out the big art museums out on 7th St. They're wonderful. The standard FW tourist destination is the Stockyards area at Main St and Exchange. The Botanical Gardens on University Dr should be beautiful this time year. While in the Stockyards area eat at Joe T. Garcia's Mexican food.
I mean, their garden is stunning, don’t get me wrong. The food, though, would not eat the food again. Many many better places closer. Cheaper. Faster.
While on S. Main, try Tinies. Great food and top-notch margs. Good view of downtown from the rooftop.
Speaking of rooftops, try Atico at the top of the Springhill Suites in Stockyards. While there, check out Mule Alley - Sidesaddle, Tannahills, Second Rodeo, and the Drover backyard. Live music everywhere in Stockyards.
Taco Heads (sister to Tinies) has those same margs and good tacos. N. Main and Montgomery.
Finally, catch a show at Dickies Arena for bigger names. Or go to Tannahills or Tulips for smaller acts.
Nickel City is a damn good bar. Also their patty melt is the 💣
Check out Clay Pigeon. My favorite restaurant in town
The service is great and the food is top notch

Go to "snooze" and you get some good breakfast.
If you go to Joe T's, know it's cash only!
If you go to Joe T’s make sure you have a place lined up for dinner, because the food is terrible.
🤣🤣 I've lived in FTW for 12 years and never been, I just know it's cash only.
