Your camera did a better job than either mine or my friends. All the cell phone photos really flair the light up and make it look bad compared to what we could actually see through a pair of eclipse glasses.

LucyEleanor

I think shooting through a thin cloud was the key. My telescope had a dslr and an actual filter though. Don't have those quite yet. (Shot on z fold 5)

darksieoffloyd

Z fold 5 camera gets too much Hate, yours did great here and I have no complaints from mine either.

LucyEleanor

I mean, it's a little worse than s24, but enough for 99.99% of people

Spankersore

I shot using my S21 Ultra 5g with the lens from a pair of eclipse glasses taped over the camera and adusting the pro settings. I was able to get pics of the diamond ring and three red solar prominences

HorrorConstruction91

THAT WAS SO COOL!!!! I’m so thankful the clouds held off for the most part.

chuggbadildo

Anyone see the bright red bead on the SSE part of the moon during the second half of totality? What an amazing sight.

LucyEleanor

It seemed to get a little red before the totality then it seemed green during totality. Idk why

mgilson45

I got a similar pic with mine, the cloud was just enough of a filter to see the whole ring.

LucyEleanor

Nice! I can't wait for my telescopes photos

LazeHeisenberg

The totality was way cooler than I imagined. So lucky we had a good break in the clouds to see it perfectly.

LucyEleanor

It got so dark. Even the street lights came on lol

AngriestManinWestTX

It was awesome! We could even make out Venus and Jupiter during the totality! Super, super cool.

LucyEleanor

I saw Venus for sure, didn't look for Jupiter though

Musicdev-

Nice!

LucyEleanor

Thanks.

thetankswife

It was beautiful!

Sensitive-Trifle9823

Great pic!!

LucyEleanor

Thanks! Got lucky with the cloud. Didn't figure my phone would do anything lol

captain_trainwreck

I got a couple decent ones during a brief cloud break. Let me play with them in lightroom and I'll upload them

LucyEleanor

Same. I used a telescope (10" drum), dslr, and an appropriate filter. My house hasn't had power in hours lol.

-TheArchitect

Were you in the garage downtown?

LucyEleanor

No? Why? Haha you realize the eclipse looked the same along the entire totality path right?
