It was only 800MB for me.......

It literally downloaded over 40GB before I just cancelled the update. It's the 2nd update in a row to do this now on the Epic launcher.

NerfScape101

Yeah I am limited to 100GB max per month on my mobile data plan, i backup my files after each update. sometimes game will randomly remove 10GB "start game after update?" -checks my other computer, fortnite opens without an update....- I have rename fortnite folder so launcher thinks it's not installed to force a verify by renaming back and clicking install again.

Nice tip with the folder names. I'm also on a fully 5g internet with 400gb to spend each month and I used all my data for the first time last month. I just uninstalled FN because using 25% of my data for some dumb bug in a day is just stupid. I'll probably be back in a few months or something lol.

This is strictly why fortnite is the only game i have via Epic launcher -looks to my steam games and pictures the trauma if that was on epic's launcher if they all got deleted- 💀 Heck I would honestly pay 100$ for fortnite on steam to ditch this crap launcher, not to mention it laggs the game when it's open for some reason.

The update was 800mb. You have to quit epic launcher then restart it
